Christmas Countdown - 2009

Good Afternoon everyone! Its hot and sticky here in Maryland (In the 90's) with high humidity. Luckily Im at work in the AC. I really enjoyed the little bit of HSN Christmas in July I got to watch last night and cant wait to see the QVC show next weekend! It really gets you even more in the Christmas mood! Almost the weekend..hope everyone is doing well!

just watching the second season of Beverly Hills 90210....love it....that´s my child and teenhood....still have those pains in my neck....it´s terrible....gon go to bed real soon and hopefully it will be a bit better tomorrow after waking up

that is good, means she is healing well. How is she doing with getting around now?

She has figured out how to get up and down now without any problems. She fell a couple of times the first week but she hasn't fallen now in almost three weeks. They took off her splint yesterday and but on a air cast boot that is bulkier but that hasn't seemed to stop her. She likes the boot because she can take it off when she is just sitting around now. Of course if we go anywhere I get to push her in the wheelchair and she is just loving that. She will be non weight bearing for three more weeks then in therapy for four weeks gradually increasing the weight she can put on it each week. They say by the end of the first week of september she should be back to normal.

on a sad note....tomorrow i have to attend a funeral of a 16 yr. old student who was tragically taken away from this world far too soon...although you don't know them....please pray for the parents and family of this child....and count the blessings that you have in your life b/c we sometimes forget how much worse it really could be.....

Prayers go out to his family and friends.


I had to go to a funeral for one of my coworkers 4 month old baby and it was the hardest thing that I have ever done. It was just about a week after my sister had my first niece and to go from seeing the happiness that came with my niece being born to the grief of my coworker who had just lost his little girl was terrible. That is something I hope I will never have to do again.

Well not much going on here. I have been out grocery shopping and stopped by hobby lobby and picked up some of the christmas crafts for my niece to do. Hope everyone has a great day!!!!

Another work day coming to a close...The weeks fly by...Another month or so and my Mom & Dad will be celebrating fifty years of marriage! We have a big party planned and i've slipped some Christmas music into the DVD retrospective of photos we are putting together...Just had too!

Band practice tonight...Garage sale Saturday...May actually finish my radio show that has been in the over for two weeks now...

hey guys..hope this finds everyone doing well....congrats on the radioshow Jay and the boutiqe Mecka....

was a good day....despite the circumstances....came home and made a meal for my wife and mom (dad works out of town).....as a family, we don't break bread together enough...made sure we did that today....

jacked about this weekend and going and buying my organizational supplies for Cmas....seems like yesterday it was just April....amazing...just amazing....

Hi my friends. My back and neck are still paining....but uh oh...it will get better. the weather is lousy tho....still warm but it will be getting to fall temperatures again with lots of rain...which to me is incredibly annoying!!! I love Fall....but not in Juli

Wow. In under 3 weeks we will be down to double digits to the start of Christmas Season 2009. Doesn't seem possible, does it?

A bit overcast in Raleigh this morning where we have a 60% chance of rain today and tonight.
Should be a bit nicer for the weekend.
Currently, we stand at 76 degrees.

Well its that time of week again! Friday!!!! Woo. Mom and Sister are coming to visit tomorrow so that should be fun. Im loving these cooler temps. The heck with summer lol (some people would kill me for saying that) haha. I enjoyed watching hsn with the Christmas items!
