Got my fingers crossed for you, Helper! It sounds like you're a go-getter, though. I don't have any doubts that you can do it!

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

I finally got the new bed Nancy has instisted on for the last two weeks. I was so tired from moving furniture last night, I didn't even notice how good it slept, though. I just crashed. I'm not too stiff this morning, though, so it must've been ok.

I'm going to put on a pot of coffee, then wake the family up soon. Our church service starts at 9:30 am. We are a very small church, and we share a preacher with another small church. He comes to our from 9:20 to 10:30, then he drives to the other church and their service is 11:00 to 12:00. It's kinda strange, but you can beat everyone else to restaurant when you get out of church at 10:30!

I hope you all have a great day!cheesy

good Sunday morning from sunny Ontario

going to be another nice day here. Of course, the temps are going down and it is definitely feeling like fall. Leaves are beginning to turn colors, I will post some pictures when I get new batteries for my camera.

Our church starts at 10am yet this Sunday and next week we go back to two services, Sunday school starts and the bus begins its rounds again.

Have a great day everyone! cheesy

Our pastor always had us out by about 11:20 at the very latest and it was so great b/c you beat everyone to the restaurants. He resigned about 3 months ago and we've had interim preachers in the mean time. They apparently don't stick to the same schedule. Now we are getting out around 12:05 (by the time we get to the nursery and say our goodbyes) and the lines at the restaurants are SO long!!!

Happy Sunday everyone! I just go word that our best friends have decided to try a different church today. I want them to be in the right place, but I am going to have a little bit of a selfish pity party and whine to you all b/c I just don't want them to go! Wah!

Anywho...I hear that it was a really nice day yesterday. I'm not very sure about that myself as I was tied up at work all day. I was supposed to have the day off, but my boss had a family emergency, so I covered the day for him. The old adage is true, "When the cats away, the mice will play." These kids behaved so poorly yesterday - it was ridiculous! I don't remember having that mindset when I was their age and working, but I suppose we tend to block out our less than desirable behavior of the past. Whatever, I'm just glad that I am out of that stage in life now.

I am feeling very behind in my Christmas prep at this point in time. These last 6 weeks at work have kept me very busy and I have 2 more extremely busy weeks ahead. Blah... Once October rolls around, I'll have more time to dedicate to Christmas shopping and such. I'm excited about the prospect of it! I love to go Christmas shopping!

Everyone enjoy your day. We are enjoying a late, mild summer finally and it will be a great day to be outdoors! See ya tomorrow :)

Well, we actually have until Jan 1 before the Christmas Season 2009 ends.
By last Jan 1, we had 5,103 total posts including the launching post.
As you can see, we are nearly at that point already and the record should fall later this month! Our new record for this year will be a lofty one indeed!

OK, on with the count:
Days to the Season: 61
Days to Christmas Day:103
Under half a week now = the 100-Days to Christmas Milestone.
So close I can almost see through it!

Another wonderful calm sunny morning here in Raleigh where we currently stand at a coolish 63 degrees.
Our high should be around 80 with low humidity.
(We have brief periods here - usually mid-Sept to mid-Oct, then again in April, where the weather is really nice with not too much heat, humidity, cold or pollen.)

Well, I hope the remainder of your weekend goes great an that you have a Super Sunday, Friends!

Good morning, friends! Hope this finds all doing well. Overcast and mid 70's here with a 60% chance of rain. Really nice outside right now. May not be later, but for the time being, it's great.

Debating what to do today. I know that I am going to do some cooking, but I don't know how much. Looking forward to being lazy today, watch some NFL, and try to plan next week. After that, I am pretty sure that I am going to buy some Christmas gifts online today. Can't wait for that! Have a good day and I will see you guys around later today!

Binger...that's great....know you must be excited! What division are they?

Oh, by the way, I know I'm throwing myself out there...but GO DALLAS COWBOYS!!!

Made, I thought Jr. had a good chance at a top 5 if not a top 10 in him last night. Richmond is always a good place for him. How disappointing!

Hope you have fun and finish below par!!!!!!cheesy

I shot about four pars and missed a 50-foot birdie putt by two inches on the final hole. Of course, the rest of the round was extremely forgettable. Certainly no where near par, let us just say that. I had fun though!

Brent, you sound like me....when I play....I play the ENTIRE course...i get my money's worth!!! I play the rough, water, fairway, bunkers....everyone of them on every hole!

Oh it is, my caffeine-stained friend.
(I could even see it through the coffee fume haze drifting south from VA!)

Good morning, everyone!

It's another sunny day here in Ottawa. The only problem is that the wind has picked up today. Currently about 15 mph, which sucks due to the fact that we have our final tryout at 12 noon today. I am hoping that it will die down within the next hour and a half. Tryouts can be ugly with a lot of wind! The time is also a downer as it is NFL Sunday! I will miss the opening NFL on Fox Pre-show, which I love watching. Still, I am excited to return home and watch regular season football on TV! Most of all, I am excited for tonight to see the Packers vs. Bears. There's nothing like watching a football game from Lambeau Field in HD! Hopefully the Packers will rise to expectations!

Tomorrow hits 60 days until the Christmas Season! Practically a milestone in its own right! Enjoy your Sunday, everyone!!

I was thinking the same thing. They had been running better the last couple of weeks so I was hoping for at least a top five. I don't know what it is about this car that he doesn't like but I hope they get it figured out before the end of the year. :-?

As long as you have fun that is all that matters. My sisters husband use to be on the grounds crew for a course here locally and I would always go with him and play. He was pretty good but I needed A LOT of help.

Well today is the first game for my Indianapolis Colts. I will be sitting in front of the tv and watching them all afternoon. I hope with all the changes over the off season that everything goes great today. The rest of the day will be spent making up a batch of homemade tomato sauce. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that I'll be going to the Rams/Colts game here is St. Louis next month, Made. My FIL is a Colts fan and is going to fly here from Cali. to take us to the game. He already has the tickets, but it is always debatable whether or not my in-laws are speaking to us on any given day. Soooo, hence the maybe going LOL.
