Happy Monday! Im so excited Thanksgiving is only 3 days away! I had a pretty nice weekend but didnt get a whole lot done. I was catching up on some much needed rest and sleep from being in the hospital with Dylan last week. My husband made homemade cream of crab soup..it was delicious! We are going to buy a real tree for the first time in my life this year! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep it alive and looking fresh longer? I may post a new thread in reference to this! Its rainy and chilly here in Maryland. Have a wonderful afternoon Christmas friends!

Morning all! Someone stole a strand of our multicolored Christmas lights off the porch That makes me sad. Hope everyone is having a good day! Well back to work!

Saw off an inch or so of the trunk after you get it home. Then be sure to keep the tree stand filled with water; check it daily.

Hi all! Hope this finds all doing well! Just wanted to tell everyone hello....bout to start cooking for a little event we are having tomorrow....looking forward to tomorrow night....it's like a night off....calm before the storm....nothing planned at all except lay out all ingrediants and make sure kitchen is ready to go before it's up early Wednesday morning....i can feel it yall...that spirit is really starting to get fired up more and more each day....

I have been on the go all day today. This morning I went and helped my sister set up the building for the grandprents lunch at my nieces preschool. After I got all of the tables set up for her I went and did some christmas shopping. Then it was back to pick up my mom from the grandparents dinner and take her to the doctor for a check up on her foot. Then we went and got my aunt a birthday cake and ice cream. Then we went to my sisters house to meet everyone so we could take my aunt out to eat for her birthday. After dinner it was back to my sisters house for cake and ice cream and then my aunt opened her gifts. I finally got home about 45 minutes ago. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow Made...you were as busy as me tonight...made wife's favorite candy...cooked for event tomorrow....cleaned house and kitchen for the 12th time in three days....whew!

I got my second wind about a hour ago and decorated the bathroom. Hung up the shower curtain, put down the christmas rugs, put out the towels and washcloths, and the jar of soaps in christmas shapes.

sooo my Christmas Tree is officially up and Decorated!!! It was finished last night, usually my family & I put it up on Nov. 24th but this year..my mom has come down with the Festive flu!! she's going christmas crazy..and i dont mindcheesy

we also put up other christmas decorations inside the housecheesy I'm so Happy!!!!

Now to decorate the outside of the house

Good Morning all!

With just over a month until Christmas the house is anything but silent. While all rushed around gleefully getting ready, mom shouted directions to dad to get more lights please!
The tree in the corner majestically stands awaiting its glorious array for display.
From the kitchen comes smells so yummy and good it makes the mouth water to stand at the door.
The gifts almost ready, the treats prepared, the guests all invited, the day is soon here!
Are you ready, excited, enjoying the time? Have you written to Santa to give him you list?

Good morning, everyone! I accepted that job offer. I start Monday. I can't wait to start working again!! Since I'll be working full time, I'm not doing a darn thing today and tomorrow. I'm going to sit around and do crafts and watch Christmas movies all day! I was going to sleep in, but I still ended up waking up at 7:00, as I usually do.

I'm so excited about Thanksgiving this year. I get to have 2 meals, one with hubby's family, and one with mine!
