Goooooood Mooooorning MMC!!!

It's Monday again! Snow in the forecast, two Christmas parties already enjoyed with more to come, less than 3 weeks till the big day!!
:sparkle:

Life good!

Another week begins and another closer to the big day!!
Vacation time in two weeks!!

The Tree went up this past weekend and the house is all ready.

Time to kick the wrapping into high gear before time runs out.

More specials on tv this week. It's really getting down to crunch time.

Though some snow was nice overnight, I am not looking for the expected snow storm on Wed.
It turns traffic into bloody murder.

Cheers!!

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY # 25

Good Morning, Friends!

Mac is so right.
We begin yet another week on our journey.
(Barely over 2 1/2 of them left you know, before the Big Day!)

Days to Christmas Day: 18

Still colder this morning.
We show 33 degrees here in Raleigh at this hour, with overcast skies.
No rain predicted for today which is good as it would likely come down as sleet.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!

I can't believe that we are only 18 days away! It's snowed last night!!!! We have about an inch on the ground...more is on the way. A storm comes in tomorrow with a lot more accumulation.

Wow 25 days into the season and only 18 more days to go. Time is flying by to quick. We had a pretty good cookie day yesterday. We made about 80 dozen. The only problem we had was the first batch of chocolate chip cookies that we made. They stuck terrible. We used the same recipe that we have used for years so I don't know what happened. Today I have two bags of apples that I need to do something with. I also need to get my paperwork in order so I can go out and work the next couple of days. We got about a half inch of snow overnite last night so I might also go outside and make a small snowman. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain all afternoon and night. Then it might turn to snow on wednesday afternoon. No predictions on how much yet though. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning all...had such a busy but great weekend. The parade on Saturday was nice, it was raining at the start of if it andthe changed over to rain/snow mix. Good thing was SIL's inlaws live in the main parade route so we were able to stay at their house and stay dry on their porch watching the parade. Hugh family dinner that night...filled with awesome and even better laughs. Yesterday we took the kids along with BIL, his DD and her mom to see the Santa. Our DS and BILs DD would not sit with Santa without us so we had a hugh family picture taken with Santa. It was great. Might make that a new tradition, having the whole family getting their picture taken with Santa instead of just the kids. Can not believe how quickly Christmas is getting here.

Have a great day all.

Good Monday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

We had another busy weekend. I had a lot of regular work to do Saturday, then I put up our nativity scene. Ater that, we went to see the Christmas parade that evening. The parade consists of golf carts-sized vehicles only, with decorations and christmas lights. It was great! The city closed a street, and there were vendors setup selling hot chocolate, sweatshirts, etc., there was live music from the local Christian school's praise band (they were pretty good!), lots of food...very fun!

Yesterday afternoon, Nancy and I went Christmas shopping. Very hectic in the mall, ugh. But, I survived the physical shopping. Now I just have to order the few things we couldn't find.

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Have a great day & week everyone!! Merry Christmas!!

I made it through Saturday (two sets of Christmas pictures for DD, one with each set of cousins, & Dixie Stampede) and that was my most dreaded weekend, because of so much planned. It all turned out okay, with time to spare between activities, so Sunday was truly a day of rest after church. Today I made dining reservations for our Disney World trip, so now I can relax and enjoy the rest of the Christmas season.

Still plenty to do, but not all scheduled at once, so I can relax and enjoy it more. I hope. I WILL. I MUST.

Went to a Christmas party Saturday which was fun. had friends over last night. looking forward to our family Christmas party next week. Lots to do and still haven't started wrapping gifts.

Hello everyone, can't believe how close we are to Christmas, already starting to feel I'm falling a bit behind with the planning and present shopping! It's all good though, I'm loving every minute of the season :)

I had a fantastic weekend, my family and in laws came up to Edinburgh for the annual christmas get-together, the place we all went to was, as usual, beautifully decorated, christmas music playing, festive menu, we all had a great time! My husband is taking me back there closer to christmas day for a romantic christmas dinner. He surprised me also by telling me he's taken the day off work so we can spend the day together - can't wait! :)

Hi all! Its my favorite time of the year and Im so busy I dont have much time to get on my favorite website (this one of course!). I hope everyone had a great weekend! We took the boys to get their picture with Santa (I will have to scan and post the pic soon) and our family Christmas picture also. We had a Birthday party yesterday. I got some more Christmas gifts wrapped too! It snowed for the first time this season on Saturday ( my Hubby had to go into work) and I found my new favorite homemade recipe for Choc. chip cookies..the recipe has instant vanilla pudding mix in it and even my Hubby (who doesnt have a sweet tooth) couldnt stop eating them cheesy. I hope this work week goes by fast... I have a cookie exchange to go to on Sunday so I will be doing some more baking on Saturday...!!!!

There is a blizzard in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday! We are under a winter storm watch here in western Wisconsin beginning tomorrow and ending Wednesday evening. They are calling for 8-12 inches of the white stuff, along with blustery conditions along with blowing and drifting snow. I'm really hoping we get a ton of snow! White for the Christmas season and all the lights is a must here! (And maybe some ice fishing by the next week!)
I'll pray that everyone drives safe and gets to their destinations safe and sound this week.

Go Packers!
