Good morning, everyone!

It's almost afternoon on the 23rd. Wow! Last night was fun. Friends came over. A few were dressed in Christmas sweaters. We took our festivities to a couple favourite hangouts throughout the city and spread our Christmas cheer. Everyone seemed to be quite excited. I saw a few faces I haven't seen in quite some time, I love how the Christmas Season brings out the best in everyone!

Well, only two more sleeps. I think I have to do something extremely Christmassy today. I am going to watch either A Muppet's Christmas Carol or Elf. I can't wait to pop them in. It should be the perfect evening for it! Well, I hope that everyone is enjoying themselves and have all their shopping done. I still have those pesky cards to go out and find. Maybe I'll convince my brother to do it tomorrow. We'll see what happens.

Have a fantastic December 23rd, everyone!!! Christmas Day is almost here!! :)

My husband and I are watching Muppet Christmas Carol tomorrow night, bit of a tradition to watch it on Christmas Eve :) Altogether now " There goes Mr Humbug, there goes Mr Grim, if they gave a prize for being mean the winner would be him..."

Hi all, I won't get too many opportunities to be online tomorrow and so I wanted to take the opportunity now to say Thank You to everyone for making the build up to Christmas this year so much fun. It really has been fantastic to share my excitement with you all and to share in yours, to hear about everyone's stories and traditions, reading recipes and looking through beautiful photos. The Christmas season is my absolute favourite time of the year and it's been so great to meet others who enjoy it so much too :)

So, Thank You everyone, I hope you have a fantastic Christmas Eve tomorrow and Christmas Day! I look forward to hearing how it all went afterwards! :)

What a fantastic movie. And, it's filled with great sing-a-long songs!!

:sparkle:

This sort of dovetails into something that I posted some time ago. I know I am wanting it both ways when I say how all of us anticipate, for the whole year, the build up of Christmas.

Then when the season gets here, it flys by so darned fast, we hardly have time to enjoy it. I know I can't have it both ways, I guess it boils down to this.....in my mind, I try to make the season last as long as possible and not worry how fast it goes.

I hope this makes some kind of sense.

Coach- I hope you have fun with your brother and enjoy the game.

We've got our hands full tracking Santa, so I won't be around much. So let me say Merry Christmas right now.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS JEFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you have a wonderful time!!!! I will be tuned in to santaupdate.com as much as possible tonight and tomorrow. I see santa is going to launch early and that it is only 5 hours and 43 minutes until launch time. I hope he has a safe trip with the new sleigh and all of the bad weather.

I have all of my prep work done and now I am just relaxing for a little bit. I am still thinking about what to make for breakfast tomorrow. Usually mom has to work a half day but she is off this year so I am thinking about making something special. My sister just called and said that she might need us to watch my nieces tomorrow morning while she finishes up her shopping. It depends on what she gets done tonight.

the house is cleaned and arranged, the tree is up and decorated since Thursday, the presents are wrapped and the groceries are bought...right now it´s only1 hour and 37 minutes until Christmas Eve....our big day, here in Germany....thanks to You guys...Christmas is always there...and thanks to You....Christmas is even better....thanks

Tonight we have friends coming over to celebrate. Tomorrow is a family day for us. The 4 of us are going to watch movies, make cookies, play games, and just relax. On Christmas day we are having neighbors over for a little get together. On the 26th we are going to my aunt and uncle's house for our extended family's Christmas.

I am of Dutch heritage, and we also have our big day on Christmas eve. My kids are all very excited. At 6pm we have a candle light service to attend at our church. Our big dinner will be on Christmas day, but our gifts are opened on Christmas eve.

we go to church at 4pm tomorrow...looking forward to that.....I have relatives in the States...in honor of their German heritage they always open one present on Christmas Eve

Well Track...it is almost Christmas Eve....hope you enjoy it!

Always think of a certain conversation when Christmas comes around...wanted to share it with you....goes like this.....

Clark: Since this is Aunt Bethany's 80th Christmas, I think she should lead us in the saying of Grace.

Aunt Bethany: [turns to Lewis] What, dear?

Nora Griswold: Grace!

Aunt Bethany: Grace? She passed away thirty years ago.

Uncle Lewis: They want you to say Grace.
[Bethany shakes her head in confusion]

Uncle Lewis: The BLESSING!

Aunt Bethany: [they all pose for prayer] I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands/ One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Clark: Amen.

Some great posts today.
Really getting me into the Christmas spirit.
Everyone is so in the mood!

Evening All...
Hope everyone had a good day. My brother finally made it in late last night. He was stranded for quite some time at the airport in Salt Lake. My step sis also made it in a day early. cheesy

Hey everyone!

I have all my shopping completed, and I even have finished making my Oreo pie for tomorrow night. I did go ahead and give my kids their new Christmas pajamas a day early. I couldn't wait any longer. The next couple of days are going to be busy, but it is a good kind of busy. We are making cookies for Santa in the morning. I wanted to make them tonight, but my son wanted to wait until tomorrow so they will be fresh for Santa. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas filled with love and joy!

I will talk to you all soon!
Merry Christmas!!

:tree: Tomorrow is one of my favourite days of the year. Yup. One more night to Believe in Santa and strain my ears to hear his sleigh bells overhead.

Looking forward to lighting the luminaries with my dad and visiting with the usual Christmas Eve guests.

:rudolph: I'll try and check in later in the EVE while I'm tracking Santa.

Keep a merry thought in your head!
