Merry Christmas !

A good Christmas morning to all!!!

Wow! The day we have all counted down for has arrived. What a fantastic morning so far... Smiling faces and a few presents, I could not ask for anything more. Well, a delicious breakfast within a matter of minutes will be very appreciated, too! I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas morning and Santa was as generous with you all as he should be. You've all been very good and deserve nothing but the best for you and your families!

Again.... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Good Morning, Friends and a MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!!
(Seems strange not to be posting the count but a bit of a relief, too!)

We all had a great Christmas morning around the tree. (One of my nieces declared it the best Christmas ever!)

Will get started on our Christmas dinner shortly.

I hope everyone has been having a great Christmas Day so far.
May the spirit of the Season be with you throughout the day!!

Christmas is forever, not for just one day.

For loving, sharing and giving are not to put away like bells and lights and tinsel in some box upon a shelf.

The good you do for others is the good you do yourself.

I am at my sisters house and managed to sneak onto her computer for a few minutes so I could wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will be back on later when I get home.

Merry Christmas, everyone. It is a gorgeous day here in Northern California. My husband and I are going to Mass then return home for a few hours. Then we will be off to visit his mother in her assisted-living place. We will take her out to lunch and then return home to enjoy the evening. We took her to Red Lobster last night with my SIL and BIL. It was so much fun to watch everyone open their gifts. I put a lot of thought in Christmas gifts and listen throughout the year to what everyone says about things they like, etc. It was a blast! Well, my husband has made chocolate chip waffles in his new waffle maker; so gotta go. Have a blessed day!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I can't believe it's Chrsitmas Day & it's yet again time to start another countdown! Where are the years going??? I hope you all have a wondeful Christmas & ENJOY THE HOLIDAY SEASON!!

Many blessings...

Merry Christmas everyone! I'm just getting ready to walk over to Mom and Dad's for the Christmas Dinner. My Sister's step-daughter is here too this year, all the way from Minneapolis. Can't wait!
There's still plenty of snow here. Wow, the first White Christmas I've ever seen! I hope all of you have a great Christmas!

It has been a nice quiet day here today. With 1/2 my family sick there was a lot of sleeping going on.
Everyone is starting to stir now and starting to feel better.
The turkey is making the house smell good and should be done roasting in about an hour. My daughter is peeling the potatoes, the wine is chilling in the fridge, just have to put the finishing touches on the meal and we should be ready to feast!

You have to go shopping to get all new decorations for next year. Well maybe not all new but at least some new stuff. I will be at walmart when they open there doors to get a couple of new santas. Then it will be on to target, meijer, kmart, walgreens, dollar general, and dollar tree. I will go until my budget runs out. I am mainly looking for santas to add to my collection and cards for next years exchange.

:hello: Hurray, everyone enjoyed the gifts I picked out. I don't know why I fret so much, I've only made one gift error that I recall.

Picture it ... I was nine years old and allowed to shop on my own. Back in those days we received $10.00 to buy gifts with and an additional dollar for our age. We had to spread that money around for whomever was on our list. My list included my parents, my brothers, one of my dad's sisters, her four daughters, my cousin and my Grandma's sister and one or two neighbourhood friends. We'd make crafts or cookies for the neighbours and deliver them in person.

All the kids at school were talking about getting ties or embroidered hankerchiefs for their dads, others were making crafts or buying cologne and I liked the smell of English Leather so I was going to pick up a soap on the rope for my dad and a tie if I had enough money for both. He owned a Men's Wear Store at the time. I went shopping when he was out for lunch, but one of his employees who was also a family friend said, "don't buy your dad anything here, he sort of owns all of it already." I thanked him for the advice and went across the street and up three stores and bought him his soap on the rope and a tie from the competition.

It's still haunting me. :rudolph:

It's supposed to be freezing rain tomorrow so I'm likely going to wait until Sunday to go shopping. I'll still get deals, but I know some items will be gone. I want to go to Future Shop to get something for my camera while the deals are going on so I hope the weatherman is wrong again.

Not sure if I'll buy any Christmas stuff, we'll see if there's anything that jumps out and says "take me home".

I hope everyone had a great christmas. I had a wonderful one. It was a blast watching my 20 month old niece taking one present at a time and running around the house leaving a trail of wrapping paper behind her. Then she would come back after it was open and sit down and look at it for a minute then get another gift and do it all again. It was fun to watch but took it quite a while to get her through her gifts. My 5 yr old niece ripped through her presents in no time and then spent the rest of the day playng her new leapster. I got five new outfits, snow boots, a electric razor, a new pocket knife, some new tools, and some other small things. I spent the rest of the morning getting lunch ready and then my afternoon trying to get all of the toys out of the package. I have never seen so many twist ties in my life. They really want to make sure you can't just rip it out of the package. Then it was time for dessert and time to come home. It was a great day that will provide plenty of good memories in the future. Tonight I will be headed to bed early so I can get a full day of shopping in tomorrow.

Congrulations everyone on getting over the 8000 post mark last night. I wish I could have been here to see it happen. I have alot of catching up to do.
