Happy 26th Everyone !

Mrs. Eagle and I are just sitting around and relaxing today. Maybw tonight we will start the cleaning up. What a great day it was yesterday. Dinner was perfect, and the company was even better.

We are getting snow today. About 3ins of the real light stuff. Looking out our window has been like a Christmas card. OOPS, here comes a salt truck . . . . .

Nate King Cole is on right now. I don't have to tell you the name of the song. Nice !

Gulp.. but that is alot of chatter...

Wow what a day. I truly don't know which day I enjoy more. Christmas day or the day after. I always love spending christmas day with the family but when I get home that night I am always kind of sad that it is over. Then I wake up the next morning and go see what kind of decorations I can find to make the next christmas even better. At the end of the day I always have a truck load of new stuff and I am happy because I can start planning how to decorate the next year. This year was no different. I left home at 5:30 this morning and didn't get home until 4:30 this afternoon. I didn't buy as much as normal because alot of the stores around here had very little left. They defintely didn't order as much of stuff this year as they have in the past. I did manage to get 13 new santas though. Five of them are small resin ones about three inches tall for a shelf in the kitchen. The rest are bigger ones that I have no idea where I am going to put next year. I also got some new ornaments, cards for next years exchange, and some candy molds. I also picked up alot of the small toy stocking stuffer items that where on sale but had nothing to do with christmas. They will go in my nieces and nephews easter baskets. I also went out to lunch with the all of the family and gave my nieces a santa that I had picked up for them. It was a fun day and I even managed to stay under budget. So the rest of tonight will be spent starting a new planning notebook for christmas 2010 and starting to figure out how I want to decorate next year. I also have to figure out where I am going to store all of these santas. I hope everyone has a GREAT EVENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, my Christmas friends!

What a great Christmas we had! Santa brought my son an electric guitar, and my daughter a sweet little puppy...and 10,000 other things. Whew!

I struggled mightily to avoid illness as Christmas approached. I used a full bottle of Germ-X last month. Well, this morning I awoke to a very sore throat. But, hey, I got past Christmas with my health. Now I can recuperate next week. No worries, it's just a sore throat.

I'm stilll listening to my Christmas music, too.

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

What a fun filled very busy 3 days we have had. We continued our celebration today with a house load of family...food...laughs....love and of course coffee!!! Tomorrow will be less hetic....doing mostly normal stuff like laundry and cleaning. Having company over again tomorrow evening but will not be as many people or as long.

Hubby and I went shopping today...stocked up on wrapping paper and name tags and picked up a couple small gifts for our daughter. So it's offical...the planning and shopping for Christmas 2010 has started!!!
Have a wonderful night my friends.

good evening friends! I, too, have started getting ready for next year by buying materials such as wrapping paper and cards for next year. Really going to be evaluating how to prepare for Christmas with this new job over the next week or two. I might have to adopt doing 5 things a month or something like that until we get to summer...and then increase the number. Made, I am days away from starting a notebook for next year. If you get a chance, shoot me your list of catorgories to my inbox and I can do the same!

We had so much fun shopping today it was crazy! The stores were packed but we just enjoyed the environment so much. That lady of mine really likes to get out there and mix it up. While I don't cherish the shopping very much, I do enjoy the time with her.

Gonna work on picking up.....see yall in the morning with coffee in hand!

Made..Coach-I do the notebookt hing also..a nd will start 2010 today-I shopped yesterday and have started buying for 2010.. though I am going to try and talk the family into doing a little less... we have a big wedding in the family this June ( nephew) and I think we could do with a little less gift giving and a little more pure enjoyment with each other.. therein lies the true spirit of Christmas...

Didnt buy any new decorations either.. though I did buy one new set of lights...

Good morning Friends! Hope this finds all doing well! Got alot to do today....more or less just cleaning (ugh). Thinking about making some soup in the crockpot....I dunno though! Think I will just sit here for the next hour or so and just drink my coffee!

Top 'O the morning to everyone!

I'm still on countdown vacation but thought I would check in to see how things are going.
Looks like everyone is still enjoying Christmas Season 2009!

Will be leaving to shop with my sister, brother-in-law and nieces shortly.

Have a Super Sunday, Friends!

[PS: Don't you love the way almost everyone leaves their Christmas decorations up to New Years? Helps to moderate any post-Christmas blues, which I must say I have not experienced so far!]

Well I think today is going to be a day of rest at least this morning. I have to do some laundry and some cleaning but nothing major. They are calling for 3 inches of snow today so I will go out and shovel later. I could wait on the guys from the apartments to come around but that might be tomorrow afternoon at the pace they move. I will spend most of the afternoon watching football. The colts play the late afternoon game today so I will try to get everything else done by then. Tomorrow I have to go back to work. It is the start of a new cycle for me so I will work monday and tuesday so I can get used to everything before my conference call on wednesday. Then I will take the rest of the week off. Hopefully I can get back on my routine now. I have been so busy the last month that I wasn't able to get on here as much as I would have liked to. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coach- Only 49 days until daytona!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, everyone. I had an extra long sleep and have just risen from bed now. I love catching up on sleep! Today is my final day at home in the Sault. I will be returning to Ottawa tomorrow as an old roommate offered me a ride, which is much better than taking the bus. I must say, it is going to be sad to leave my family, once again. I love spending the Christmas Season with them. If only Ottawa were not nine hours away from the Sault. Oh well, that's life!

Anyway, I hope everyone is still enjoying the Christmas Season! New Years is fast approaching. Obviously, I am not a huge fan of New Years, but it will be nice to see another group of friends and bring in a new decade with them!

Enjoy your Sunday, everyone!! It's the second last week of regular season football!

I have been so busy the last month that I wasn't able to get on here as much as I would have liked to.

I know the feeling....seems like since mid november I have been so busy that I was lucky to get on here once every other day!

Johnor....I know the feeling....I kinda have a touch of them....but I guess that's just part of it...

Wife told me this morning if we were going to a football game next weekend that we were going to get all the decorations put away because we woudn't have time....although I am not one bit happy about it! I reluctantly agreed. Tree is down as well as all the inside decorations...way way too early but she has a say in the matter also!

Well...gotta get back to work!

And I don't know what happened with that quote box up there....I was putting something that Made said and it saying I said it.....oh well....

Hey Ballcoach - Maureen here; just sorted your quote!!
Carry on.........!!!
