still christmas ....the days between christmas and new years are always kinda weird....we call it inbetween the years...and it´s quite fitting...just gon stay at home today....do some housework and play with kandice and watch cartoons and some movies

Good morning.....it's very COLD here today....wind has kicked up a lot!!!! Would have been a good day to stay home drink coffee and watch Christmas movies but some of us do have to work. Well at least I picked up a couple stocking stuffers yesterday for hubby for next year. May go out later today or tomorrow to search for more deals for next Christmas.

Have a nice day!

I know what you mean, Track. I feel the same way.
Dec 26 to 31 is kind of a limbo - a no man's land, so to speak.

In a break with tradition, I have been continuing to listening to Christmas music and don't plan to put my albums away until New Years Day.
After all, we are still in Christmas Season 2009 aren't we?
(Today is Season Day # 47, by the way. It's hard to believe it started so long ago, isn't it?)

Cold again, with our temp standing at 33 under calm, sunny skies.
Lows in the upper teens are still predicted for this weekend.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, everyone!
Less than 3 days until a new year begins.
(And less than 3 days to add to this thread. We will have quite a task ahead of us to better the total for 2010!)

this is kinda boring...lol....spend my time doing lil housework...playing a bit with kandice and watching some sitcomes....who´s the boss, king of queens, that70s....still boring....lol

might watch my beloved waltons later on today

Sorry I havent been on in almost a week! It has been busy at work and of course with Christmas. Lots of people to visit! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I am back at work but we still have our Christmas decorations up and our local radio station still has on Christmas music cheesy so things arent too bad! Plus its another short week of work for New Years!

:tree:

Good Morning everyone. I have been on the phone with the main office this morning trying to get them to fix my handheld computer but they can't. So they are sending me a new one. That means I can't go out and work today. So I am going to spend the day cleaning. I have laundry to do and I have already done the dishes. Today is going to be the best day of the week as far as the weather goes so I am going to spend some time cleaning out my truck this afternoon. They are calling for more snow tomorrow and really colds temperatures the rest of the week. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that the time between christmas and new years is weird. It still feels like a holiday but most people have to go back to work and everyone starts taking their decorations down. I still try to keep the christmas spirit strong during this time by watching christmas movies everyday and listening to christmas music. My decorations stay up until the first full weekend of january and this year they may stay up until the second weekend. I have my holiday party on new years eve so I try to keep the spirit until at least new years day.

these inbetween days are strange, aren't they? i lose track of days, dates and times!

over here in the u.k, alot of businesses are still off work until the beginning of january. i'm still listening to christmas music and watching christmas movies, i always do until 1st january.

i've also noticed that some of our friends in the U.S tend to take their decorations down about now, here in the U.K they are usually kept up until the new year.

it´s the same here in Germany....many offices are closed down for the holidays....including mine (to be honest....that´s the only good thing about this firm....callcenters suck big time)....and the houses leave the decs on til January first at least.....we always celebrate New Year´s Eve with the tree up...but usually on January first....I try to start the new year...and put the decs away....

how u doin Joh?

i'm doing good track, how about you?

isobel is being a little cryer today! somedays, she just won't let me get anything done :-?

don't have the after christmas blues for the 1st time this year! i'm already looking forward to the build up of christmas 2010!

oh it´s terrible when they are criers....Kandice has been good at this too....cuddle that cutie from me...Kandice and I got a bad cold....since more than two weeks now...lots of coughing going on here...very annoying...but oh well...there are worse things....at least we sleep at night without waking up from coughing
the christmas blues is much less since Kandice was born...I am just too busy with her...:D

:hello: Quick in and out - finally did the housework.

Funny thing, O'Malley likes it clean, but doesn't like all the squeaking windows and such during the process. Still, when I finished the dusting and what-not and was going into his room, he had taken the litter-scoop-sifter and placed it in his litter box. I encouraged him to do it himself, but that's as far as he got helping me out.

Weird cat. :rudolph:

:hello: Thanks for counting down the twelve days of Christmas without singing each line Wenceslaus, they get stuck enough in my head without assistance.

Crown cries when they don't get enough sleep...
