I just staggered out of bed to the kids knocking on the door. I usually like to be up at least a half hour before they get here so I can have some coffee and wake up but I was too tired to get up early. They ran in asking me a million and one questions and I cannot think straight to answer any of them! Lol! When I was raising kids I could handle all that when I first woke up but now my mind is in a fog if I haven't had my coffee yet. (even though studies shows differently as Christmasstar posted recently,). The least demanding child here is my 9 month old granddaughter. She just comes in sweet and quiet and plays. My 4 and 6 year old grandsons are all over loaded with lots of questions and arguing with each other. It will be a good day though. I am about to cook a big breakfast like I do every morning and then do something fun. We are hopefully going to the museum today.

I hope everyone has a great day!

I hope you have a fun time with the grandkids!!!!!!!

Also my youngest (will be 10 months on Friday) and has been taking 6-8 steps at a time..Im in trouble cheesy!

Time to move all the breakable stuff out of reach!!!!!!!

I am off to a slow start this morning. I got up just in time for a conference call for work and now I am trying to get myself to go work for a couple of hours. My boss said that she wanted to come over and work with me one day soon so I need to go straighten up some accounts to take her to. She is from columbus ohio so I usually just meet her about halfway in one of the small towns to show her how good of a job I am doing and then she can turn around and go home and not have to come all the way into indianapolis. She has to come over 2 times a year to check on me and to make sure I am doing what I am supposed to be doing. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was pretty good but it always goes by way too fast! Saturday was a boo boo day for my Sons! My youngest fell and hit his face on his brothers train table..and my oldest scraped his toe in the swimming pool pretty bad, then got hit with the fence gate in his mouth and fell and hit his face on an end table in his room. I felt horrible! They are both doing fine though just a little bruised up. Also my youngest (will be 10 months on Friday) and has been taking 6-8 steps at a time..Im in trouble cheesy! Have a nice Monday..going to be another hot and humid day here but tomorrow and Wednesday should cool down to the low 80's and then back up to the 90's. Summer is here and give me another week or two and lets skip to the Fall!
Aww! Kids and accidents, happens all the time.

I just remembered that your baby and my granddaughter were born about the same time. My granddaughter is trying to walk too!

I just realized the time and the kids are getting restless. We are about to head to the museum. I didn't finish reading everyone's post and will catch up when I get back.

Have a great day!

MsChristmas - I had an early walker, too! My son walked right before 9 months... all my other friends had babies just sitting or maybe crawling, behaving, and I was chasing him all over the place, lol!

Steven - Congratulations on your baby! Hope your wife has an easy pregnancy.

I hope everyone had a good weekend, mine was ok.
Spent yesterday ordering things for my father-in-law's Surprise 60th birthday party, ordered him a GPS, and ordered the M&M's that will have his picture printed on them, it was expensive but it will be a nice touch in the candy dishes around the house for the party. We have less than 2 weeks to get everything in order. I spoke to my grandfather last night, he has his leg amputation surgery tomorrow, he sounds very upbeat, (he has always been cool as a cucumber) and according to my grandmother he can't wait. Which I found surprising, until she explained he has been dealing with the skin cancer for over 5 years and it will be a relief for him to be rid of the cancer. I will let you all know how he is doing as I find out the news. Well I am going to watch a Christmas episode of Married With Children.
Have a good day!

Good morning all... what a weekend... On Saturday morning our frig died!!! thanfully it ws noticed before the food thawed so we were able to save most if it. It was just a hassel getting a new one and swapping them out quickly. Then I found out I need some expensive repairs done to my van...Going to the bank tonight to see about getting a small loan as we have to tap inot the vacation money to pay for the new frig!
Hoping my week gets betters! My daughter has her last softball game Wed.
Have a great day!

I hope your luck turns around!!!!!!cheesy

I decided not to go work because I looked at the radar and there is a nasty storm getting ready to come through. I can already hear the thunder and the weather man say that it is not even going to hit us for another 30 minutes.

Friends, I need your advice!

I am currently waiting to see if I can be accepted into Grad Studies to do my Masters in History at my university. However, I have also been accepted to Teachers College at Ni****ing University in North Bay, Ontario. North Bay is about four hours from Ottawa. I do not want to leave Ottawa, however, this may be my only choice to go to school. Plus, I have always wanted to be a high school teacher. Moreover, the teachers program at Ni****ing is ranked the best in Ontario - and perhaps Canada.

There are so many positives and negatives of this situation. Obviously, the continued education and teachers college will be very positive. Negatively, I will have to move away from Kim and Ottawa for a bit. However, I have also applied to have my placement in Ottawa, which means that I could be staying with Kim for at least a month of the year while "teaching" in Ottawa. If I do not get into Grad School, I think I may just go to Teachers College. But, I am not too sure if I should just go to teachers college anyway... especially since it is one of the best and most respected programs in the country. Help me out, friends!!
That's a tough decision. It sounds like you and Kim have a very strong relationship, and the program at Ni****ing (what does that mean, anyway?cheesy) can provide you with the education and means to do what you've always wanted to do. Four hours apart sounds daunting, but It also sounds like it'll improve your chances of employment in the future.

Get that education while you're young!

i hope everyone here is doing great. everything ok here, kandice is healthy, world championshipo is going on....so all is fine

Hello everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! Happy Flag Day to us Americans (not sure if you have a holiday similar around the world). Went to work today...had a good time. I'm looking forward to my first paycheck next week, I need to get a lot of things done with that money!

I agree with Bradmac.

Prayers are with him.

IT IS HOT HERE. I wish someone would hit me with a :snowball: That would be great! It was 105 heat index today. I love working in my yard, but it's crazy out there. I went to get my exercise in....and stopped running because I didn't have my water, was by myself, and thought I better not push it.

Last summer really messed me up. it was way too cool and this summer seems unbearable because of it. Please, oh please, Christmas hurry so it will be cold! See everyone tomorrow.

Brent, good luck with the decision. Just think about it and make the best decision for your future. If being away from Kim means you will be able to better provide for her in the future, then the sacrifice is worth making.

Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning MMC !

Brent, a 4 hour drive is not that far , we used to live in Smithers BC and had to travel 4 hours to get to Prince George (the closest city) and did it regularly. You get used to it real quick. Don't put off your dreams because you may never get a chance again.

Bradmac, no idea why Nip is sing (put it together to make one word) would not come out on here, maybe the spelling is something the computer does not like?
Ballcoach, I threw a snow ball at you as requested! :snowball:
xmas365, praying all goes well with you father in law's surgery.

Minta, sorry to hear of your troubles...go and buy some chocolate, relax in your favorite chair and watch a movie. Maybe by then someone will have fixed everything! cheesy
