made - WOW, it really is hot, huh? Not sure how much more I can take!!!! I bought a fall welcome mat at Kohls today (on clearance for $2.99!!!) and got so excited.. then I walked out of the store and almost died of heat stroke, AHHH!!!
 
Its beautiful here today in Maryland. Its around 89 degrees which is much better then 100 and the humidity is slightly lower. I am so excited I was on Yankee Candle.com and found these adorable snowflake tea light candle holders ..they were $5.00 and on sale for $1 a piece..I ordered 12 of them lol. Im going to give them as a set as Christmas gifts. They are selling on ebay between $5-$8 a piece plus shipping so I think I got a pretty good deal cheesy. I hope you all have a nice weekend, Im really looking forward to the Hallmark event. I've decided since the Hallmark store is only about 5 minutes from my house that Im gonna go by myself and have my Hubby keep the Boys for an hour!!!!!! Also I went to Michael's craft store on my lunch break and they are slowly getting more Fall stuff out..I bought a new Fall mini flag its really adorable!!!

I LOVE Kohls! Are they starting to get their Fall stuff out?

My wife left Tuesday for a mission trip to Trinidad and will be gone 8 days. I certainly miss her but it has been a nice time with my son. He is 14 now so I know there is not much time left. Hate to see him grow up.

My son is turning 13 soon. I hope he's not like I was when I was a teenager. I knew much more than my parents did, I was certain of it. Enjoy your "guy time"!

Good afterenoon all!

Just checking in, we are about to go visit my grandfather at the rehab facility, he is doing well (leg amputation). Just need to visit and see how he is doing in person.
I hope you all are having a great Friday.

No fall stuff yet at Kohl's... I found a few mats hidden in a clearance bin near their sheets from last year, though!

Just checking in. Back from next to the last followup for my eye and everything is looking good. My vision in the left is 20/20 once again !!! The miracles of medical science !!

Really pumped for the ornaments tomorrow. Should be okay weather. It is raining now in Ohio and much, much cooler than it has been.

I hope all have a wonderful weekend !!!!!

Well - it's FRIDAY...and the work day is done!

I had a difficult time getting it in gear today. Soooooo busy at work...not enough sleep last night.

One great thing is that I get to be here (on MMC) more because its the weekend!!!

So...what's on the agenda for today? I see that some of you are going to Hallmark today. Sounds like fun! Wish I could go!

Well...it is Saturday...so what do I do?...I clean! I've often been lovingly compared to "Monica" (on "Friends"). I guess in quite a few ways (especially the cleaning part of it)...I am! cheesy

I'm just happy to be at home! Hubby is working today - so its just me and my Mercedes (my adorably, loving and cute Rotweiler!)...and Christmas music while I clean!

Have a SUPER Saturday, Christmas friends!
