Welcome to the weekend everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to babsit this morning since my brother in law is at work and my sister is going to a bridal shower. Then hopefully I can make it to a hallmark store. The one on the east side of indy that I use to always go to closed so I have to go to the south side of indianapolis where they have the interstate all tore up. Luckily I like to drive country roads and know how to go in the back way. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning MMC !!

Just stopping by to say happy Saturday and happy Hallmark Ornament premiere day !! I am just about to start getting ready. I went through my catalog last evening and marked the ornaments I just can't live without and my sister should be here about 10' ish !!!

I ended up running a high fever all day yesterday. It was up to 102 degrees. The grandkids came over in the morning and we planned to go out for the day. I was trying to get ready and just felt awful. We canceled that and my mom and son had to watch the grandkids the rest of the day while I slept. I just woke up and still feeling yucky. I hope I can get better to go to Hallmark but not sure yet. I will see how I feel after breakfast and coffee.

Wow! What a lightning show last night. Lost count of all the strikes. It was just one after another. Lots of (needed) rain, too.
Good chance for more precip today with somewhat cooler temps.
We currently stand just under 78 here at this hour.

OK. Another weekend has arrived!
(Don't they seem to be coming and going so quickly?)
Days to the Season: 126
Days to Christmas Day: 168
Barely over half a week now until the 2/3 Season Milestone, then a relatively short hop to single digits to the Season.
The year is slipping away, folks!

Well...it is Saturday...so what do I do?...I clean! I've often been lovingly compared to "Monica" (on "Friends"). I guess in quite a few ways (especially the cleaning part of it)...I am! cheesy

I'm just happy to be at home! Hubby is working today - so its just me and my Mercedes (my adorably, loving and cute Rotweiler!)...and Christmas music while I clean!

Awwwww...thank you sooooooo much, MsChristmas! Mercedes has such a gentle heart...a BIG softy! I couldn't have even wished for a better dog than her!

Chalk it up as a big victory for the ol' Ballcoach. Played the cards just right and we are going today. Had to make one small sacrifice, but sometimes to win the big game you gotta make little sacrifices....I knew if I played this right, I wouldn't be able to watch the race, Made, but I will DVR it and move right through all those commercials....

so, Walmart, Sams, Olive Garden, clothes shopping place that my wife likes.....HERE WE COME!!

We made it to Hallmark and saw the pretty ornaments. I started feeling bad so we came home. We are not going to make it to Hobby Lobby today. I am going to lay around and rest up until I am better. My boss called me a little bit ago and told me not to come to work tomorrow but I told him if I am better I will call to see about coming in. He insisted I stay home and get better! I guess we will see how it goes tomorrow.
