Christmas Countdown - 2010

I went to the thrift store today and they had quite a few Halloween decorations out. I picked up a few and got a really good price on it all. If my back straightens up I will try to get some pictures and post.

Made, speaking of getting lots of rest is what I just might HAVE to do today. I slipped on some steps earlier today and felt my back pull. It was a little achy but I was ok to run some errands then came home. My dad came over to use our computer. He asked about something on the internet and I leaned over to look, felt a sharp pain in my back and screamed right in his ear! I really pulled something out of place and now it's hard to walk. I startled my dad and apologized for yelling in his ear. He didn't know what the heck was going on with me. Lol!

There's nothing worse than an aching back. I hope you feel better!

ChristmasHeart has begun her decorating countdown. I have decided on Nov 13th as my tree decorating date. It seems that day is considered the offiicial start of the season, so it's a perfect Tree Decorating date for me. So now I have 82 days left!! Well everyone, may your Monday be Merry and Bright!!!

Ya...I know...I think I do that earlier than most! That's okay...everyone has their special day to do it! My Mom actually works with a woman who puts her Christmas Tree up in October! Well...I guess technically I'm putting mine up in October too (Oct 30th I start) - which is the earliest I've EVER done it! I cannot help it! Besides...that's the weekend I could make into a long one!

Then while getting ready for work I heard natures sweet music. GEESE flying over the house headed SOUTH!!!! Another sign that summer is on the way out and fall is on the way on. Now if it would stay like this or even stay a bit cooler for the rest of the month I would be very happy. Saw a few more leaves turning color. In a couple more weeks I will be buying more fall scented tarts for my tart warmers and bring out my fall candles. Can't wait!

Isn't it all VERY EXCITING!!! On my way home today - I saw more trees changing colour! Today was windy and cool in Toronto. I actually had to put my big sweater on AND button it up!

Well...another Monday done. I'm home and happy...and in my jammies. Like I've said before - if it were socially acceptable to live every day in jammies (and slippers and a nice, fuzzy warm housecoat)...then I'd be the one to sign up first! Ya...call me odd cheesy.

Thanks for the well wishes! My back is actually starting to feel better and I got word that my friend does not need me to babysit her 3 kids. So I am just down to my 3 grandchildren. Phew! I use to watch 6 kids all the time but not sure I can do that again. I would have made it work somehow but I am just out of practice. cheesy

Good evening all!

We have returned from our weekend excursion To Lake George, NY. It was a good weekend, got up there Saturday weather was beautiful high 70's bright and sunny, we spent the whole day outside going to the village area full of arcades and kitschy souvenir stores but we love it. Sunday it rained all day long but we stayed out and did as much as we could including walking around the village and I made sure I went to my favorite store on the whole strip A Christmas to Remember it is all lit up with Christmas trees and lights and the Christmas music was playing, my wife and kids went out to see if Frankenstein was outside the Haunted House and I stayed in the store for a few minutes listening to the music and thinking I can't wait until Christmas. We came home today but before we left we went to the outlets and were doing some school shopping for JP, and my wife and I took our eyes off LC for mere seconds and he was gone we looked all over the store and outside really quickly, our worst thoughts were going through our heads, I went outside again and walked into the parking lot and he was running in the middle of the busy parking lot, smiling along, I ran and picked him up and yelled at him. That all happened in seconds not more than 10 seconds, that was the scariest thing I have ever been through.

One might think that I have all the time in the world this morning...seeing that I am moving so slowly!

I don't and I'm behind schedule (ahhhhh...routine cheesy). So - I gotta get my act in gear and get ready for work!

Still...I just wanted to wish you all a MERRY day! 4 months today is Christmas Eve!!!

just spend the last 3 hours cleaning......now I´m relaxing....mom picks up Kandice from pre-school today...I will put her in her bed to take a nap and after that we will go for a walk before doing some grocery shoppin

Just think....four months from today I will be getting up about right now to enjoy the best two days of the year. I try to get up early as not to miss any of the excitement. JUST FOUR MONTHS! Yes!

As we keep moving on in our countdown, I'm excited about nearing the 100 days to Christmas mark. Once we get there, time will start really flying. Heck, I can't believe we are almost to the 70's on days to the season. Crown even said it is about time to put up the Christmas Blossoms thread for 2010. I can't wait to see the picture of that little store!

Ah, Christmas.
