Good morning everyone! We had a good weekend.. busy Friday and Saturday, but were able to rest some yesterday and just do stuff around the house. Today is suppose to be cooler and rainy all day so kind of a blah day. Hope everyone has a good day!

We did ours on Sat. due to family members have inlaws to go also.

Monday day off will be used to do the usual Sunday chores (lawn, laundry, etc...)

Stopping by for a quick word, have to go to work in a couple hours but it is a holiday and I get time and a half so that is ok, I am just so tired lately, and I may not get my vacation at the end of December I learned so I will be talking to them about that today, we have so much already planned that week I just hope I will get that week off.

After a fews days of glorious sunny fall weather it has once again turned wet and chilly. But that is fall isn't it!

Off to Hamilton to visit Lindsay in the hospital and bring her some thanksgiving treats.

good morning everyone......woke up and Kandice had a slight fever and is sneezing again....it´s nothing serious but I can´t put her to preschool with it.....so we´ll hang out at home so she can hopefully recover a little

I sure hope she gets better. My grandson has had some issues with his asthma in the last couple of weeks.

:-? That actually happened to me and my family when I was about five years old. We had our Christmas stockings (still have the same ones today) hung for Christmas in July and someone broke in and stole out stockings and my mother's wedding rings from the kitchen counter - nothing else seemed to be missing, we're guessing the dog barking scared them off. My dad and a neighbour followed tracks up as far as the playground and came across our empty stockings - the rings were never found.

My cousin and several neighbours had a worse experience in 2002 when their homes were broken into about a week before Christmas and all the presents were stolen. Fortunately, the robbers were caught and the police expedited the process so all the families received their gifts to open on Boxing Day. They had to celebrate Christmas without presents and discovered that being together and being safe (they could have been injured during the theft) was most important. They were pleasantly surprised when the police knocked on the door and presented their gifts to them. Hearing my cousin share this story over the phone on New Year's Eve that year, put a lump in my throat. It sounded like a Hallmark Christmas special.

What a terrible story with a VERY happy ending!

Well its that time again (here in Canada that is!). Its THANKSGIVING DAY! Wooo!!! We had Thanksgiving dinner at my Moms house Saturday. Tonight we are having another one at my in-laws! Now Christmas is coming almost TOO fast? We are going to Apple Land this Sunday so that should be fun. Getting our Family pumpkin! Speaking of pumpkins. Our neighborhood is nice and quiet. Nothing bad happens. But when I was going to work this morning (6am) I saw smashed pumpkins all down the street Some kids were doing that. Sheesh. Well enough about that. My work shift has changed just for this week. Yes I work today on a holiday but get paid extra (I better!). I'm working 7am-4pm. So I get home nice and early! Last night I watched Hocus Pocus. Good movie. On the weekend we also watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Garfield Thanksgiving and a Garfield Halloween Special. Very good. Next up this week is to watch Ernest Scared Stupid, Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and the Halloweentown series! YAY! Hope everyone has a great day! Oh and I'm over 1,000 posts now!

You know I've always considered that O'Malley the cat has some Autistic tendencies, but lately he's developed a bit of OCD too. Several times in the last few weeks when he's finished using the litter box, he puts his scoop in and mews for me to come and clean it. I clean it once a day and there's never that much in there. Ugggh. I'm a slave to my cat.

Smart kitty! My kitty uses his and when he goes to bury it he not only scratches inside the box but then steps outside the box about 3 and 4 ft away still scratching like he is still burying his mess! If I go to see what he is doing he stops and meows at me then continues on scratching. Lol!

As soon as I read this I ran for my remote control to turn it on then realize we don't have that channel! Ugh! I can watch it online but I like to surf the net while watching it on tv.

We picked up a bale of straw and put it out on the lawn with a couple of scarecrows in it. I need to pick up a couple of pumpkins now to complete it.

Our friends are coming over today... when we lived in the city, we lived very close and got together with the kids constantly. We have since both moved to other counties so it's hard to get together. So excited to see them!!

Me and my boyfriend both have catched a cold, we keep sneezing all day We went looking for houses, but as i have a student loan and we are starters on the housemarket it was a bit of a dissapointment... Is the housemarket as bad in other countries as well? For starters it turns out virtually impossible to buy or rent a decent house... ! Curious how it is out there?

How funny, I am decorating for Halloween and it put me in a Christmasy mood! I have Christmas tunes playing right now.

I guess I know that in 21 days my Christmas tree will be up and will slowly fill the house with Christmas decorations! cheesy

Good Afternoon everyone! We finally got the outside decorated yesterday. We did 1/2 neutral fall decorations and 1/2 halloween decorations. The weekend after halloween we will take down the halloween stuff and leave the fall garland, real pumpkins, orange lights, hay bales and scarecrows up til Thanksgiving weekend. I wil take pictures this weekend and will post them. Still have to finish decorating the inside though, hoping to have that done by the weekend.

So this morining woke up to huge tree limb smack in to the roof right above my head on the roof. So i checked out around the roof and it looks ok but I will probaly still call the landlord so he knows and if he wants a profession to look at it he can.. Other then that me an the wife put a corned beef in the slow cooker and it is starting to smell goodd.

It looks like the closest one to me is about an hour away. It is on the far north west side of Indianapolis. I don't get out that way much anymore but if I do I will make sure to stop in there. cheesy
