I may not get my vacation at the end of December I learned so I will be talking to them about that today, we have so much already planned that week I just hope I will get that week off.

I got the pumpkins and put them on the straw. This evening when everything lights up I will take a picture.

I can't wait to see the pictures!!!!!

We did 1/2 neutral fall decorations and 1/2 halloween decorations.

That's what I did outdoors. I plan to just take the Halloween stuff down after Halloween and leave up the fall decor until Thanksgiving.

Indoors, however, all fall and Halloween come down and out comes the Christmas!

My house will be nice and mixed up. cheesy

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!!! It is a hot day here in central Indy. We are expecting a high of 86 today. That is almost 20 degrees above normal. :-? Today is all about catching up for me. I have gotten behind on everything around the apartment. I have also gotten behind on here. I need to spend a few hours catching up on all of the other threads. This afternoon I also need to pay the bills online and get my laundry done. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

ShopNBC has a Christmas show on right now until 9:00am and then noon-2pm

Bethlehem lights will be on QVC at 4pm est.

oh i've had a lovely day. took my baby girl to the local farmer's market and to the park to play on the swings, she had so much fun! she is so intelligent, she has started to repeat words that i say and can say about 10 words confidently (she was only 1 two weeks ago!) i hope i have a mini einstein! cheesy


the lovely little village that is local to me is starting to get prepared for the lighting of their christmas tree. everybody gathers in the village whilst the lights of the tree are switched on, carols are sung and free mulled wine and mince pies are given out. the kids then visit santa in his grotto. it happens some time in the middle of next month and i can't wait.

this is going to be the best christmas ever, can feel it in my bones!

I hope it is the best Christmas ever for you and your family! Your daughter sounds wonderful =0)

Had a great time at our family Thanksgiving yesterday. Lots of great food and company.

Today we do another one here at my place, not as many but just as fun!
I also will be taking some turkey etc to my friend who is in the hospital tomorrow.

good morning everyone......woke up and Kandice had a slight fever and is sneezing again....it´s nothing serious but I can´t put her to preschool with it.....so we´ll hang out at home so she can hopefully recover a little

Its Columbus Day/Thanksgiving and Im stuck working. Thats ok though. Well we did adopt our doggie. Im going to try to attach a picture. I hope it turns out!

Oh good it worked. Sorry the pic is so big. Anyways his name is Midnight Bear. He reminds me of a Bear lol he is about 80 lbs..big boy. Big sweet Teddy Bear. I was so worried and nervous about getting him (mainly because of having a 1 and 3 year old). He is so good (at least so far..knock on wood). He is gentle..eats out of your hand. Doesnt jump, barks very little, housetrained..he is amazing and I am in love with him. My 3 1/2 year old Son was telling him that if he is a good Boy that I would give him a turkey dinner or Thanksgiving and if he was really good Santa would bring him a bone. My oldest Son is so attached already all he talks about is his Midnight and how much he loves him! Its so cute cheesy

For us with the exception of the kids room, we will not decorate for Christmas until Thanksgiving weekend. I enjoy Thanksgiving and have Thanksgiving decorations that I like to keep out for T-day dinner. Once dessert is done then t-day is done and I start packing up the fall decorations so we can start decorating for Christmas the next afternoon (after shopping lol) The kids will put up the tree and the lights in the bedroom any time between the first weekend in Nov to the week of Thanksgiving.

I had an attempted pumpkin thief!

I told my husband that I was afraid to put pumpkins out in case of kids stealing them. I went ahead and bought some, put them out this morning and already this afternoon I watched a kid sneak up to my house and picked up a pumpkin. I swung the door open, he dropped it and ran! Kids! Lol! His twin brother stood there laughing and telling on his brother. He said, "he just tried to steal your pumpkin"!

I did have the straw display in the yard. I guess I was asking for it but doesn't give him a right to steal! I went ahead and moved it by my front door.

I see this kid walk home from school every day with his twin brother right in front of my house. I wonder if he walks a different route tomorrow? Lol.
