Brad, sorry to hear that story. That hurt my heart. I want kids so bad and I can't wait until I get to have one, but I don't look forward to those preteen and teen years.

Well butler held on to the last second and I thought they had it when hayward let the ball go at halfcourt as the buzzer was going off. It was not meant to be though and duke won by 2 points. There is always next year. I am headed off to bed and I will be saying an extra prayer for the miners in west virgina who are still unaccounted for. GOODNIGHT EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning MMC !

Woke to rain hitting my window this morning, something we needed here. We had no snow in March (extremely unusual) and little rain since. It is much to dry for this time of the year.

School starts again today, so back to routine. Going to get some stuff done around the house too.
Had a great Easter break along with great weather so I fell into it and just relaxed and enjoyed it!

It is going to be a windy day here in central indy. I think everyone in town are disappointed at the outcome of the game last night but proud of butler for making it to the championship game. They are going to hold a big rally at butler this afternoon, then a parade to downtown and then another rally downtown to honor them for their great season. I have a few errands to run today and then it will be back home to get out of the 40mph wind gusts. I hope everyoen has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A fine Spring Good Morning to one and all!

Yes, the birds are again singing outside my window as the sun shines down, accompanied by the gentlest of breezes.
We stand at just under 70 degrees at this hour.
The morning should be better than the afternoon, when we are supposed to hit 90. Just a bit too warm for me at this point. (At least the humidity is low.)

Days to Christmas Day:263
We are now under 3 weeks away from the 1/3 marker to Christmas Day and exactly 3 weeks short of the 200-day Season window.
Then on to the HALF Season mark coming up in mid May!

Good morning.... back to work today as my 4 day weekend came to an end to quickly. Well we bought our train tickets last night. Hubby, the kids and I are going to Florida this summer to visit hubby's mom and to go to Disney World. Kids are excited especailly out little guy as he LOVES trains.

Just started a side job selling Tastefully Simple and launch my website with the company yesterday so I am excited about getting this going.

Got softball practice tonight, our first game this this Saturday!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

My mom called me last night & said her A/C wasn't working. We already need it down here in south GA, heck it was 88° yesterday! I took off a little time from work to see if I could figure it out before the A/C tech guy came. Sure enough, it was some loose wiring. I fixed it for her quickly, then called the tech guy & told him we didn't need him after all.

It's a NICE day today, sunny, clear & 78°. Woo Hoo!

I hope your allergies get better. I would be suffering real bad too if it wasn't for local honey. I can actually keep my windows open during the day and in the past that would give me the worst allergy attack. I use to have to keep them shut all the time. I am still allergic to certain animals and chemicals at work and certain foods so I am not allergy free of that but I am of the outdoor air. *twisting your arm to go get local honey* cheesy

I gotta remember to go get some of that honey. It's only a mile or so away from my house.

Are you taking Amtrak? I have traveled all over the US by Amtrak and LOVED IT! In fact we took the train to Disney World, Disneyland and other places. We use to travel on it for 2 to 3 days at a time and get a sleeping car. The rooms are tiny but it was awesome to have a bed and shower on a long trip. It has been years since I went and I am wanting to go again! I been on a cruise once to the Bahamas and much rather travel by train any day over a cruise. There is so much more to see.

You just made me want to hop on the Amtrak site and look over a possible upcoming vacation. I think I am dreaming, money is a bit tight right now, Lol.
