Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends, and Happy Father's Day to the other dads here!
We've been planning our 10-day trip to the mountains to start on Saturday, June 26. We're spending time in Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge, TN and Maggie Valley, NC.
The kids just brought me my Father's Day present: a night at the Inn at Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge, TN (and a shirt & shorts)! I make them spend at least a half a day at the Incredible Christmas Place store every trip, so they got me a super gift.
I keep saying it, but I'm a lucky man!cheesy

Good Morning and Happy Dad's Day, Everyone!
Again, the sun is shining and the birds are singing outside my window.
We stand at 79 currently but are no doubt bound for the mid 90's with high humidity by this afternoon.
My sister, nieces and I are taking my father out to eat this evening.
The air conditioning will be nice.
(Us older folks remember when restaurants were not air conditioned, don't we?)
We can always count on Sundays (and all the other days, too):
Days to the Season: 146
Days to Christmas Day: 188
UNDER a week now to the 50% Milestone to Christmas Day.

Tomorrow we begin moving yet another week closer to Christmas Season 2010!

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's here cheesy. Im going over to visit with my Dad later..my Mom bought him an ice cream cake (his favorite!). Suppose to be real hot here today around 95 and very humid. Im going to take the boys to the pool!
hope u all are doing good....I don´t know...but something is wrong with my ear......11 years ago my ear-drum broke three times...it has had surgery two times.....it was all fine...til yesterday.....now my ear feels exactly the same....like when u are on a plane while it starts or lands and got no chewing gum.....I don´t hear as well on my left ear.....I guess I gotta go to the doctor tomorrow

Well It is going to be another hot one again today. In fact it is going to be in the 90's the rest of the week here. I don't have much planned for today besides kicking back and watching the nascar race. I also need to get someone paperwork ready for when I meet my boss tomorrow. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning friends! Talk about getting the day off on the wrong foot....at 10:30 the heat index was 103. Ouch! I was going to get outside and play some today, but it doest look like I will be doing that now.

My kids and wife gave me a years subscription to The Hockey News as a gift, so I get my gift all through the year. They will be taking me out for ice cream after dinner
We decided to start Christmas shopping today, while we were at the store because my son LC absolutely loved an Optimus Prime that doesn't transform but talks when he presses the button perfect for him since he loves his older brother's toys, and it had a sign saying it was $14.99. I purchased it along with other items, left the store checked the receipt and it was sold at $31.99, I went back in waited in line to get it back at the price listed. The person at the service desk waited on me I explained what happened and she started talking to another associate and said to me "tell me again cuz I didn't hear you" Now I was angry I just took my money back and didn't really care about the toy any longer, didn't want to give them any more money than I had to for rude customer service. I will be writing them an email to them. When we get a chance we will be going to Toys R Us because they have an exclusive Toy Story 3 Imaginext Junkyard set, THAT will be a great gift for LC for Christmas. His room is in Toy story decor and he will love it.

as always since more than a week....I am watching the Soccer World Championship....slowly I am getting tired of the green...lol...anyway...I been outside with Kandice before to play some football....sorry soccer 
...girl got talent...will put her there too...and it´s just fun to play soccer....later on...I will wwatch Inspector Barnaby (original title Midsomer Murders).....it´s so scurile...I love it

Coffee and heat just don't go together.
Actually, cough-ee just doesn't go with anything in my book.
Now sweet, Southern Iced Tea. That's another matter entirely!
i do love coffee...but in the heat....it´s not my thing.....i prefer homemade lemonade during that time of the year
