His potty training is going well he is telling us when he needs to go. My older son had his last day of pre-school today, kindergarten starts in the fall, it is amazing how fast they grow up. Just a quick update I now have lost 22lbs 3 more until I hit my Dr.'s goal, my shirts hang off me different and I am using the last hole on my belt.

I am glad to hear that the potty training is going well and Congratulations on the weight loss!!!!!!!!cheesy

When I went to work this morning at 7, the bank's temp. said 98. At 11, it said 103, and at 1 is said 106. I don't think it is exactly right, but it is probably +/- 2 degrees. Tomorrow, the temp is supposed to get to 103. HOLY COW!!!!!

Try to stay cool in all of that heat friend and have a safe trip!!!!!!!!

Good evening everyone.

Can't sleep which is not unusual for me. Been having an extreme attack of asthma, doc increased my prednisone today.......Oh well. It will get better.

Good Morning all. I had a rough night and was up most of it throwing up :-?. My 10 month old Son wasnt sleeping well either, Im not sure if he is not feeling well too or teething...so I only got about 3 hours of sleep. Im thinking of going into work but leaving early. I surely could use a few more hours of rest. Have a great Tuesday friends!

My first day at my new temporary summer job. It is only a few hours and the hardest part is getting people to call me back. But I get to give stuff away which is always fun.

How long has it taken you to loose this?

I joined TOPS (take off pounds sensibly) and have lost 28.2 lbs in 12 weeks. I have the same problem as you, my clothes is very loose now, much of it no longer fitting. But it sure feels great doesn't it!
I have been counting calories, eating much more healthy foods and moving more, mostly walking.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We started Vacation Bible School last night. The kids had a blast, and I'm the photographer, so I stayed busy, too. When I got home at 9:30, the mayor called to say that the city had a broken water line and he couldn't reach the service guy, would I please check it out. I rode over and found that lightning had struck a water meter and blown it out of the ground! We cut off the water to that section of twon last night. Hopefully, the service guy can come first thing this morning.

We had some strong storms come through this morning and now we our under a heat advisory for the rest of the day. The high today is supposed to get to 94 and the heat index is supposed to get to 105. I plan on spending most of the day packing for my vacation. I need to run to the store and get some food to take and with as hot as it is going to be I should probably pick up some gatorade. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, everyone!!

Rain is on the way today. In fact, we are supposed to get plenty tonight, which may jeopardize our practice. Too bad the rain won't come until later in the afternoon/evening. If it were earlier and heavy, practice would probably be canceled due to soaked fields. We'll see what happens. Normally, I would love to practice, but Kim is scheduled to view the apartment tonight. She wants me to go with her, but I cannot due to practice. If I did not just get healthy enough to practice, I'd consider missing it to look at the apartment, however, I can now practice at about 70%, so I need to be there. Hopefully the hamstring continues to heal and I will be back at about 90% soon. Getting to 100% seems impossible.

Our first full day of summer was a memorable one. The sun seemed to never go down. I've always loved watching the sunset for a few minutes on the longest day of the year. It was beautiful. We had a league game last night. Somehow, we managed to have only four guys (enough to play and no substitutions). In previous weeks, we have had as many as nine or ten guys, so it was a bit difficult. Thankfully, the other team only had five guys. We are the first place team - we were playing the second place team. For some reason, we've always had trouble defeating them... This time, we barely won. It was a fun and exhausting - because of the no subs - game.

Summer is here. Not much humidity today. Tomorrow the humidex should hit around 32C (90F). Thursday should be the same. It may continue through the weekend, but we'll see. Work is a little busy today. Doing a few things here and there...

This count keeps getting closer. We're now more than halfway to the Winter season. That half way to Christmas Day is so close!! 186 days away and so much to look forward to between now and then. It's going to fly by! Have a great Tuesday, everyone!! Wednesday is only a day away and then it is downhill to the weekend!

December 1953 edition of Jack and Jill.
It has some nice Christmas stories, letters from kids that will now be in their 60's. The cutouts are the only thing missing, other wise the magazine is in great shape!

It has taken just under 2 months. I eat better, I cut most sugar out of my diet. I exercise a lot at work moving 100's or 1000's of lbs of merchandise a day. I do feel better, a lot more energy, and it is strange how everything tastes better now. Probably due to the lack of sugar.

Congrats to the both of you. I dont know how you do it honestly? I have tried several times to cut out sugar or at least cut down on it and I get really really bad headaches.. did you guys have the same problems? If so how long did they last?

Im feeling much better this afternoon just a little tired still..hopefully my Baby will sleep good tonight. I am off of work tomorow and we are going to the Zoo. Im sure the kiddies will enjoy it but its suppose to be 97 degrees..ugh we are going to leave early and probably wont be staying too long because of the heat!

Good afternoon Christmas friends! This week in the mail I got a catalog/offer to buy the Gooseberry Patch Country Friends Christmas book! It looks really good! The recipes they show look delicious & cute crafts! You also get to keep a cute Christmas tote (just for looking) that says “Home For the Holidays – The ornaments of the house are the friends who frequent it” CUTE! I went to Ben Franklin over the weekend & they are putting out Christmas/snowmen things! 1 shelf full! So hard to believe!!!! I love it, though I’m not ready for it!!! Loving summer too much!

WTG Chrismtasstar & xmas365! Last winter I took off 35 lbs with Weight Watchers. I had my 1 year anniversary at goal on May 15th! I know how much work it is - even though it becomes second nature after awhile! It's still work! That's something to be proud of! Congrats!!!!

Another round of storms just came through here and cooled it back off again. It looks like we may not reach that 94 degrees they were talking about and that is fine by me. It did break my rocking chair that I keep on the front porch though. A strong wind gust sent it tumbling through the yard and broke one of the wooden legs off of it.:-?

Can one of you all send those storms out to PA???? It's hot as heck here!!!! The home inspection was BRUTAL - and the poor inspector was up on that hot roof... I felt so bad for him! We had to keep all the windows closed, too, due to the radon testing. But, all in all, it went well and I'm feeling pretty darn good about this house!!! Maybe we won't be homeless forever afterall, hehe!
