Today was my eye surgery. It went fine but I admit I was a little scared. It was over before I knew it and I was actually awake pretty much during the surgery, weird !! No pain at all.

I will be trying to get some R and R between now and the 4th to rest my eye and be ready to go on Sunday !!

Only 2 more days 'til vacation, it is nearly here. I am watching The Nightmare Before Christmas right now, it is on Syfy channel, so it is satisfying the Christmas craving for now, even though I consider it more of a Halloween movie. Santa, Christmas trees, etc... are in it so good enough for me.
Well Friday is here.

Coach- Junior looked good in practice tonight until he rubbed the wall. Hopefully the crew will get the car fixed right and Junior will be a bit more careful during the race saturday night.

Just stopping by to wish everyone a wonderful Friday and a fabulous 4th of July !! I have a follow up today with my doc but so far my vision has greatly improved since surgery !!! That is so great because now I can see the Hallmark ornaments at the premiere even better which means I may have to buy even more !!

The 2/3 Milestone to Christmas Season 2010 is but 12 days away.
That's nearly single digits already!!

Wow! What refreshing weather we are suddenly having.
Currently it is 66 degrees under sunny skies with the promise of low humidity through Sunday.
Highs should be in the 80's today and tomorrow as they were yesterday, a thoroughly enjoyable day. Spend lots of time outdoors.
(Even the mosquitoes seemed less numerous!)

Hey all! I'm just dropping in to check on the countdown and start off my Christmas in July. My daughter and I snuggled while watching The Polar Express yesterday and it was just what I needed! After a very hard month in June, I am so happy to roll over into a new month and one that I can find every opportunity to fill with Christmas cheer at that!

The countdown is really moving these days and that is so exciting to me. Before we know it, our beloved season will be here!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is another beautiful day here in central Indy. We are expecting a high of 82 today and sun all day long. Unfortunately the heat returns tomorrow just in time for the holiday weekend. My plan for today is to keep working on organizing all of my baking supplies and making out a list of things I need to start stocking up on. I might also spend some time looking through my cookbooks looking for new recipes to try out before the holidays get here. The rest of the day will be devoted to watching nascar. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
