Christmas Countdown - 2010

:razz:Good morning, Christmas friends!

Well...this "eggnog chugger" (*burp*) has a bit of a headache this morning. I get migraines - especially when thunderstorms are on the way, and that is what they are calling for today.

But - I did get 7 hours sleep last night! Ya...that is actually good for me. I normally get 5 to 6 hours a night. I cannot seem to ever sleep past the 7-hour mark.

Well...the coffee is starting to lift the fog from my head and its about time that I get this show on the road! Lots to do...but I predict that I'll be back here on MMC!

Well, here is how it went down....

We walk into Hallmark...my wife sees the ornaments and says is this why we waited until today to come.....we walk a few more steps and I say...no hun..

We get to the place where they are....they have a worker with the reindeer antlers on greeeting everyone to the "1st day of the premiere" or something like that...I turned around and my wife just rolled her eyes at me.

After about two minutes, she had picked up a dreambook and a membership form....

She told me to make sure we do this again next year!

They had some great ones there today. I really enjoyed it. About to look through the book right now.

hi my friends.....four weeks have passed by as fast as Marion Jones.....the World Cup is over......the Germans....my team played great and became 3rd yesterday in a great, exiting soccer...no need to say I am a bit dissapointed we are not in the final...but the team is so so young....with a lil more experience they could be really scary!!!

anyway....soon, Kandice and I are travelling up north to the German Island Amrum for a rehab for her...she always has bronchitis...so the air up there hopefully helps her...looking forward to that....just not to being on the ferry for 2 hours....uuuuuuuurgh

I hope you all had a wonderful night. I got to sleep in until 7 today which doesnt happen hardly ever. Im normally up at 5 ish. The Hallmark premiere went well for us also..the Boys ended up coming with my Hubby and they enjoyed Christmas sugar cookies cheesy. The line was sooo long I didnt wait to buy the ornament I had picked out but it was still a good time and I loved hearing Christmas music out in the store. We finally had a nice break from the heat yesterday..it rained all day and was about 75 which reminded me of the Fall cheesy. Today the heat is back and we are going swimming today over my best friends. Have a great Sunday my Christmas friends!

WOW! 9 hours sleep! I couldn't even imagine what that feels like! But - you have two little ones to chase, so you need to have all the energy you can get!

yup too bad....but maybe the note helps........usually time at the sea helps, cos of the air there....the good thing about this....the Germany health system...even tho it´s not as good as it used to be...pays for this.....the treatment, the food, the train and ferry ride to Amrum and back and on...otherwise I wouldn´t be able to do that....so thanks to our system


anyway....we gon drive to a small animal park in the city of Mannheim.....I know the US Americans who are stationed in Mannheim call it Buffalo Park and my friend told me about it....it´s in a forest, so there is lots of shadow and better, fresher air, they have a playground and some animals to look at....good for nice afternoon...I will try to post pictures

One Hallmark we use to go to played Christmas music during their premiere. It closed down so we go to another one. They don't play Christmas music or do anything special, just put the ornaments out. Kind of disappointing but the ornaments are great!

I'm so jealous of you all who went ot the premiere yesterday!!!! I didn't get to go yet (going today!!!!) but I am so excited. I spent a few hours scraping paint at my new house ... fun!! We make settlement in less than 2 weeks!!!! WOO HOO!!

Heading to Ikea to check out cabinets and then to the premiere!!!! My husband actually remembered that he promised to go with me so Jude and I are so excited! I swear he loves Christmas as much as I do!

Other than that, it is going to be a great day! Going off to church in about an hour and then thinking about spending the rest of the day at the beach.

This weekend has been so much fun! My "2nd Family" came in town & we went to Hilton Head Island. I enjoyed having them around, my 2nd mom was stressing over her paper she had to write & my little brothers kept me laughing from the time they walked in 'til the time they left. Now, I have to get my back in sync with my mind because I slept on the floor for two nights... :-?

Then close that section and try the speakers again.
(That worked for me when my printer quit printing.)

We are half way through the weekend but ever so close now to the 2/3 Season Milestone:
Days to the Season: 125
Days to Christmas Day: 167
And indeed we are now less than half a week away from that above-mentioned marker.

After that violent storm early Saturday morning, the rest of the day was cloudy but precip free despite the prediction of more rain.
Now they predict clear today so I guess we will get rain.
I read 78 degrees on my back door thermometer, currently.

Also we have this little thing that goes around the door handle and you have to push in both sides to get the door to open and so far my 3 1/2 year old hasnt figured it out. I think we got them from Babies R Us..and I have one on the front door and also the bathroom doors (so they cant get to the toilet).

That is the same thing my sister uses. My youngest niece likes to open the door and run outside so my sister bought some of them to put on the doors. So far they have managed to keep her inside.

14 days till qvc. Christmas in July! Yabba!

HSN's is this wednesday. It is not as good as QVC's but I will still watch it. Then shopnbc is doing theirs on the 21st. I have never watched them so I don't know what to expect from them.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It turned out to be a busy day for me yesterday. I watched my nieces yesterday morning and for part of the afternoon. Then I headed to hallmark where I had a great time. I ran into some friends I haven't seen in a long time at the mall and we all went over and admired all of the ornaments. They think I am a little crazy for thinking about Christmas this early but who cares. Then we all went out to dinner. While I was at dinner my sister called and told me her refrigerator had stopped working while she was gone and that all of the stuff in her freezer had started to thaw out. She said her and my brother in law where going to go look for a new one and asked if I would pick it up for them if they found one. I told her yes and to just let me know. She called about an hour later and said to meet her at best buy so I headed over to load it on my truck. I took it back to her house and had one of her neighbors help me unload it since my brother in law has back problems. We got it in and hooked up and I headed home just in time to see the second half on the nascar race. Today I don't plan on doing anything. I will probably watch the nascar truck race this afternoon and I might even squeeze in a nap. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!
