Christmas Countdown - 2010

Hello everyone! What a busy day yesterday. I hurt my pinky really bad yesterday. I thought I broke it at first but I just sprained it. I was moving boxes in the storage room. I went to move these boxes filled with magazines. The box weighs, no lie, 50 pounds. Instead of me putting it in its new spot I dropped it into place. As the one box went down it snapped my pinky and pushed it into the corner of a metal shelf.

I'm glad I have today and tomorrow off! Tomorrow I'm going on the tour at WGN! I can't wait! I'll take pictures and share them! Have a great day everyone!

With the weather being so pants today I have been thinking about Christmas LOADS!! Can't believe we only have 162 days left and I have so much to do x That said - I have bought my daughters presents already and just need stepchildrens gifts (bikes) and we're done cheesy
 
what up partypeeps....spend the day doing the laundry, since I gotta pack the suitcases for Kandice and I....we are going for her rehab to a Northsea island of Germany....we will leave today in a week, but the luggage has to be send on Saturday....so I will pack em up tomorrow........and I had to defreeze the freezer and the fridge....half the space was used by ice.....:D

Track.. our lofty goal is 12,000 posts byD evember 31st.. 1,000 posts per month and we are on Track ( no pun intended.. ) to break that,,,, we need 35 posts per day,,,

i´m tired...don´t feel like sleeping tho...i know it´s weird...but that´s how it is....Kandice is sleeping tight since two hours now and looks just so beautiful and sweet...I love to watch her sleep

I hate those types of nights when I am exhausted but just can't sleep! Hopefully you will get some sleep soon.
 
WOW! There were sure a lot of posts made today!

So...this morning on the way to work (on the train) - I had a 10-minute cat nap. Just as I was becoming conscious (before I opened my eyes) - for a moment...a wee little moment I thought I was on my way home! Ya...you could imagine my dismay when I realized what time of day it was!

On the way home tonight...I had Bing Crosty's "White Christmas" stuck in my head. What a lovely song to get stuck in my head!

Its just sooooooooo hot here these days! We've had quite a long run of it. I'm not much of a summer person - and I sure don't like this heat. BRING ON FALL!!! I always start getting really excited about the days and nights turning cool and crisp...because I know then that Christmas will be "just around the corner"!!! So...until then - my imagination takes me there!

I just bought my Mom her Birthday cake on my work lunch break which we will be celebrating this Saturday. My Husband is going to make filet mignon in his special marinade for Saturday's dinner...yum yum! Also I bought my spiral ham which I will be having next Sunday for Christmas in July cheesy. My Grandma will be joining us and is going to make her famous stuffing. My Mom is going to make these Christmas cookies that she has never ever made except for right before Christmas but I talked her into it since this is "Christmas" in July! She is also going to bring an apple or pumpkin pie..we havent decided yet. I will be making mashed potatoes/gravy, peas,greenbean casserole and brown and serve rolls (if I can find them). I cant wait!!!!!! Im getting pretty hungry just thinking about it. Have a great Thursday afternoon everybody!!!

I have had Bing Crosby, Mele Kalikimaka stuck in my head even though it's kind of hard to pronounce, lol. I played it for the grandkids yesterday and they start dancing around. It's a good Christmas song for the summer. cheesy
