Can't sleep, so thought I would pop in here to see if anyone else is up.
Not often this happens. Read some where once that when you cannot sleep it is better to get up for awhile and do something than to toss and turn.
You are right xmas365, it is strange being up when everyone else in the house is asleep!
Glad to read your little guys are better and asleep.
Guess I will return upstairs and try again!

Good night (or should I say, good morning?) everyone!

ITS FRIDAY, CHRISTMAS FRIENDS!!!

CHRISTMASSTAR...I hope you were able to get back to sleep okay! I read the very same thing about getting up instead of tossing and turning.

COACH...your post last night gave me a good chuckle this morning! I sounded like this...."Muuahahahahahahaha!" (hahaha!)

So...I am now learning how to play "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" on the guitar! Just started practicing last night. I got soooooooo excited and even called my husband to come and listen cheesy.

Well...the weekend is almost upon us! It sure is easy getting through a Friday at work when you know that you'll be off for a couple of days!

Have a super and merry day, everyone!!!

Friday.....Friday.......Friday.....my long lost friend....Friday.

I don't know about you, but I'm am soooo glad the weekend is here. Not much planned, just hanging around the house. About to head out to work. See yall later.

Good Morning!!

And Congratulations, Christmas-A-Holic, on # 4,000!

.....I have discovered vanilla red bush tea and have made quite a few iced teas - yummy and refreshing. My ice maker isn't keeping up with me, though.....
Ah! Now you're talking!
(Up with tea! Down with cough-ee!)

OK.
The Weekend Eve count:
Days to the Season: 92
Days to Christmas Day: 134
And so we tremble on the brink of yet another Milestone.
Yes, sir! TOMORROW!! The 3/4 marker to Christmas Season 2010!
(And we will be capably lead there by the incomparable Minta who will be running the count for the next 2 mornings)

Rather overcast here at this hour with a pretty good chance of rain.
Hopefully, it will not inhibit our drive to South Carolina on which we will be starting shortly.
We stand now at 78 degrees.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And may your Weekend be Wacky and Wonderous!

How can we almost be 3/4 of the way there?!?! WOW! That is amazing!!!!!

Well, the man who was repairing 2 ceilings in our house is FINALLY DONE!!! No more sawdust and tools strewn throughout my house so I can REALLY prepare for baby! I just spent the last hour and a half lugging things to the trash and down to the basement so I can use my dining room... eating on the living room floor since we moved in has been a real pain! I was hoping that lugging heavy stuff around would help stir up labor but no dice!! :)

And in other happy news, my husband got a raise because his hours are getting cut from 6 days/week to 5 days/week! WHAT A BLESSING! He'll be making about the same amount of money but he'll be home with us on the weekends!!!!!!! He has been working 6 days/week since our first was about 3 months old so this is great timing... with the new baby is coming and everything! I am so happy!!!!

Hope you all have a great Friday! Fridays were never exciting to me but now they are because my hubby will be off on Saturdays!!!!! :D

AND in other great news - the high is only 80 today and the humidity is lower!

To all my Cowboy fans, could be a good year.
Go Cowboys! I have been a die hard Cowboys fan since I was 5 years old. I am so glad I got to see a live game when Landry was still coaching. He was great! We did get to go to a game last year at the new stadium and hope to go to another one this year. It was awesome!

I bet that sounds beautiful on guitar!

Straight No Chaser "Christmas Can Can" now playing!
Also, with Christmasstar's post at 10:25 AM yesterday, we caught up with the same number of posts as the entire 2009 thread, 8231 posts!

Way to go, everyone! cheesy

Congratulations, Christmas-A-Holic for tying the record and to Star for having the final post to defeat last year's total. Already? Wow. We are more than four and a half months ahead of last year's pace. Incredible!!

Good morning, everyone.

It is another beautiful morning here in Sherbrooke. Yesterday did not go as well as planned but there are plenty of games left to play. Don't have much time to look around. Need to have some breakfast and then head out. Have a great day, everyone!! Enjoy your Friday. The weekend is nearly here!

Good morning! What a week, or what a few months. William isn't sleeping through the night. He wakes up at 11:30pm like clockwork. Then after that he really doesn't sleep. We have tried taking his naps down to an hour and still he wakes up. We haven't had a proper sleep for 2 months now. The docs are doing trial runs of stuff because he looks just fine. He MIGHT have acid reflux. He is on meds for that. Wednesday night he didn't wake till 3:30am and that was better. I THOUGH o wow the meds might be working. NOPE. Last night I came home from work and he was in our bed drinking his bottle half a sleep. Ok so I went downstairs and came back up in an hour. Put him in his crib at 12:30am. He woke right up and stood up crying. Back in our bed. If we don't he works himself up so bad that he starts coughing and barfs. In 2 weeks if it doesn't improve we take him back to the docs. I'm trying to stay positive! I at least can talk to my friends and Wife about it and here too. Ok. Hopefully the Christmas music I'm listening to cheers me up a bit :P Ok enough of that! This weekend is my Dads 60'th birthday party. We have a lot of family coming down to have a surprise party for him! Should be awesome! Well I have to go. Take it easy!

Poor baby! I had chronic acid reflux for YEARS and on several medications. I am off all medications as of a year and a half ago when I changed the way I eat and not eating at least an hour and half before I lay down. I have been acid reflux free this whole time! I hope you can find some answers for little William and you all can get some sleep.
