Made, my NFL fever is getting fired up. I'm really starting to lose my desire for watching the races. I'm putting up a fight.

I am losing my desire to. They just don't hold my interest anymore. The Colts first preseason game is on at the same time on as the race sunday and I will probably watch it and just flip over to the race during commercials.

Good morning! What a week, or what a few months. William isn't sleeping through the night. He wakes up at 11:30pm like clockwork. Then after that he really doesn't sleep. We have tried taking his naps down to an hour and still he wakes up. We haven't had a proper sleep for 2 months now. The docs are doing trial runs of stuff because he looks just fine. He MIGHT have acid reflux. He is on meds for that. Wednesday night he didn't wake till 3:30am and that was better. I THOUGH o wow the meds might be working. NOPE. Last night I came home from work and he was in our bed drinking his bottle half a sleep. Ok so I went downstairs and came back up in an hour. Put him in his crib at 12:30am. He woke right up and stood up crying. Back in our bed. If we don't he works himself up so bad that he starts coughing and barfs.
My son has acid reflux (hiatus hernia) and is on meds for it. Laying down at night even with meds makes it worse. What finally worked for him was raising the head of his bed (like a hospital bed) If your son still fits in a car seat try strapping him in and having him sleep in a semi sitting position... see if that helps.

Good morning MMC !

long night, but I did manage to get some sleep.

Went out for a nice long walk this morning and now that he kitchen is clean again will get to work on those flowers.

Have a great day everyone! cheesy

Good afternoon all!

Nice day in the low 70's today, what a relief, fall is sneaking up on us quickly now. My wife told me last night that Rite Aid had their Halloween stuff out along with the Harvest stuff to. I am feeling that glint of happiness knowing the next big thing is the Christmas merchandise.
I hope you all have a good Friday the 13th, and of course beware of the black cat, walking under the ladder, etc..

Welcome to Friday the 13th everyone!!!!!!!! So far nothing scary has happened here. Not much on the agenda for today. I need to do some cleaning this afternoon and then I have to babysit my nieces this evening. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was born on the 13th so I don't mind the day at all. cheesy I also have a black cat here at home. Today is my lucky day! It's still a fun day to poke fun at though! :snowball:

My little 2 y/o is a turd, this morning my wife left before any of us got up, so when I got up this morning, I let LC out of his room, I sat down and he was chasing the kittens around like he always does. He then comes in to the room with my wife's prescription bottle saying "I eat em all" I nearly had a heart attack because he knows how to open child proof caps and it was empty, I was flipping out, I called the wife and asked her about the pills and she said it was empty and she left it on the counter to remind her to call to refill. PHEEW!

Whew! Always an adventure with kids.

I think I'll order the Tinkerbell dress up doll that DD saw at Disney World that she wants. It'll be part of her Christmas gift. That'll be my Christmassy thing for today. I need to update my Christmas list as well.

Hey friends! Hope everything is going good. I'm off work and couldn't think of a better place to be than the boards.

Well hello all, I am so happy it's Friday. Another weekend closer to Christmas. I have been shopping for stuff to spruce up the house for the holidays. I am getting so excited. I am just ready for the rest of the world to catch up with us!! I am ready to put up my tree too. I am just so excited about the holidays coming. I can hardly control myself !! I love to come here and be among friends who share in my excitement.

I'm trying to stay positive! I at least can talk to my friends and Wife about it and here too. Ok. Hopefully the Christmas music I'm listening to cheers me up a bit :P Ok enough of that! This weekend is my Dads 60'th birthday party. We have a lot of family coming down to have a surprise party for him! Should be awesome! Well I have to go. Take it easy!

Oh my! You are all having a tough go of it! I pray everything turns out well.

Have a great time at your Dad's birthday party! Ahhhh...there is nothing like having family around!!!

So...I just have to tell you all this! My daughter-in-law (Christie) sent me a note today and told me that my darling grand-daughter (Emma) was looking at her Frosty book today (yup...she's going to be just like me - its August and she's thinking about Christmas!).

Anyhow...all of the sudden Emma started singing "Frost the snowman, was a jolly, happy soul"! Well - it took Christie by surprise and she asked Emma who taught her that song, and Emma said "GRAMMIE"!!!

EMMA REMEMBERS!!!

That's my little Christmas angel!!! :rudolph:

I hope you all have a wonderful day! ITS THE WEEKEND!!! :dance:Yup...its time for a happy dance!

Have a merry evening, Christmas friends!!!

Christmas commercials already on TV !
There was on for a Rita McNeil concert tour coming up for Christmas.
:!!

Anyone else have upcoming Christmas commercials on TV?

I now have a kitchen table full of sugar flowers, and a cat that is mad at me. I had to banish her to the basement until I am done with all the flowers.
Will take some pictures and show you later.
