Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good Tuesday afternoon! I havent found much time to get on here recently..Im sad to say...life gets busy and you cant always do your favorite things! Anyways I am going to try to put a few pictures from Dylan's Birthday party under my pictures section. I hope you all have a wonderful afternoon.

I have had a crazy busy week and am really enjoying unwinding here for awhile.

Very sad day for my parents. Their cat Dudley, 17 years old, is at the vet right now and we are waiting for a phone call with blood results. He is in very bad shape and I doubt he will pull through. My mother could not handle going to the vet, she is a mess right now, so I went with my dad. They just adore him. I feel really bad for my parents.

Oh my!!! I'm very sorry to hear!!! That is just sooooo sad!!!

The vet just called my parents and said their cat's heart was too weak and kidneys were failing. They decided it was best to put him to sleep. My parents are crying and I am doing the same. I know they are hurting more than I am but I found Dudley as a stray 17 years ago. I was the first one to introduce him to the family and the last one to see him alive. Very sad situation.

We had to put my 17 year old cat to sleep last October..she was my 10th Birthday present. It is never easy...my eyes are filling up with tears just thinking about her. I dont remember my life without her. Please keep us updated and I will pray for the best.

I am so sorry ........I know what they are going through. Poor baby. I lost my 18 year old Siamese last year and it was so hard....It always is as you know, no matter how old they are !! Again, I am so sorry....Will keep you in my prayers

We lost our dear ol' (smelly) Quincy just before Christmas last year. Losing our furchildren is heartbreaking!!!

I couldn't wait to tell you all this...

On my way driving home from the train station, I saw...wait for it...THE FIRST SIGNS OF AUTUMN!!!

Every year about this time there is this tree along the side of the highway that is the first to start changing colour. Now...the weather has been wonky this year - so I wasn't sure if it was going to happen later. BUT...I SAW IT!!! The leaves are starting to change on this wonderful tree already!!! Oh...and I saw it happening to a few more trees as well!!!

So...can I start singing "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" now? :dance:Or perhaps..."Let it snow, let it snow let it snow"!!!

I still dream about our little dachshund occaisionally and she died over 30 years ago.

Ditto with me and my dog that left me in 1985,,, somewhere he is still waiting for me to give him a biscuit...

Hello everyone! Long time no speak! I hope all is well! I have been busy with work and friends. Today was bittersweet for me. My best friend is going away to school tomorrow, I spent most of the day with her. She's like a sister to me. I'm going to visit her one weekend. My other friends are going back to Purdue, I'm gonna visit them another weekend.

My brother starts high school tomorrow (oh boy!). I changed my schedule for school. I changed my Friday class to an online class so I can have a day off. I'm glad I did that! Anyway, I hope to talk to you all soon!

You know...I think the Wife and I are going to celebrate both Thanksgivings this year. That will be great. Made, Eli got hit pretty hard last night, huh? Ouch. Nasty gash. Said they was checking him out today. They won't find anything in his brain, he went to Ole Miss.

I am finally back and there were more than 15 pages since I was last on this thread on Sunday I scanned through them all quickly, a lot going on.
I am so sorry about your parents cat Christmas-A-holic.
The weekend was good we stayed with friends for a few days in the Berkshires, lots of swimming, mini-golf, and food. This weekend we will be going to Upstate New York to Lake George for 3 days and then the school year starts for my wife. I haven't had a chance to look around the site yet I was lost when I signed on but what little I have seen I like, I missed the site and all of my Christmas friends. Well I have a little exploring to do.
