Christmas Countdown - 2010

Today, I am going to go thru a box of my ornaments. Some have seen their last days. I guess now I can weed thru it all and toss the broken ones out. Maybe I will be motivated enough to choose the ones that I will use for the tree this year.

I have 3 totes of ornaments in my attic space right now. I can never make myself get rid of them. The only ones I get rid of our glass bulbs that shatter and can't be glued back together.

I love Bethlehem Lights! I always record all the QVC Christmas programming.. my husband laughs at me!!

Oh and an update on my mom (she was having some problems) - she is doing so much better. I think she had a bit of a breakdown but she is coming back to normal now. It's great to see my "real" mom coming back, bit by bit. She's eating a bit more now and just seems happier. My parents have settled everything divorce-wise and are being very friendly about it.. they even want to have Thanksgiving as a family, so that's nice. Everything seems to be settling now. Thank you to everyone for your thougths and kind words about her!

back home from my grandma and grandpa...they were in good spirits and felt good....not always that way...they were feelling that good that they were fighting...lol...

Kandice s cold is almost gone...it is weird....yesterday she was coughin the entire time...now she hardly sniffs her nose.....i aint complainin tho...I am glad she is doing better...it is just weird.

Glad to hear that Kandice is doing better today and that your grandparents were in good spirits!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday afternoon woo hoo! My youngest Son is taking a nap and my oldest is sitting here eating lunch and coloring. My parents left for Arizona this morning. I see and talk to them every day so I sure will miss them this week! I temp. got my home computer fixed and since I will be off of work all week I hope to be able to get on here some.

Glad to hear that you got the computer fixed and I hope your parents have fun in Arizona!!!!!!!!!! I just talked to my great aunt in phoenix the other day and she said it is supposed to start cooling off there this week.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!! It is a beautiful day here. I don't really have much planned for today. I went to the apple orchard this morning to get some more cider and I picked up another small bag of apples. I should probably go to the grocery store but I hate going there on a saturday afternoon. So I will most likely just sit around the apartment and watch football until the nascar race comes on tonight. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow....we got 12000 posts already....crazy....in the first year i been here in 2008....the aim was I think 5000 and we beat that too.....but 12000 in october is crazy......awesome
