thank you maybe i was judging last years stamps too hard, becausethey always kind of look the same, never about the real reason of the season... and we only had one choice, this pink ones that looked real bad on my red&green envelopes (so i was being whiney :lol: )

My mom made Pannenkoeken a lot when we were growing up, I have made them for my kids too. Have not had them for awhile, but maybe this weekend!!

Have a great time with your daughter! Make Christmas cookies with her. I used to make them with my kids when they where small. The kitchen was a disaster area, only 1/2 of the dough actually turned into cookies but we had so much fun!

Well only 60 days left! I watched part of a Scrooge movie(1935) yesterday, but never did finish it, going to try and get it on netflix. My daughter and I went out yesterday as well and listened to some Christmas music in the car (on cassette tape) I know...I still have a cassette player in my vehicle! I'm enjoying every minute of the holiday season that is right around the corner!

What Christmas stamps will you be using? It's a tough choice!

I like the first 2. Personally I would like to see some Charlie Brown Christmas stamps, or Elf or something more whimsical. But I guess I should appreciate that the post office still acknowledges the religious aspect of Christmas. So either of the first 2 would be fine.

I'm jealous!!!!!! Mom says I have to wait another month. I may sneak it out on the weekend before thanksgiving though. cheesy

LOL....let us know how that works out for you. I still remember the wall tree your neighbor gave you.....Good Luck with getting that tree up before Thanksgiving. Keep us posted!!! LOL.

Good Morning Christmas Pals,

Yep....2 months away....Hard to believe it's almost here. My tree goes up in 19 days and then the season will really begin to fly by. My Walmart has their trees up and 3 or 4 aisles of Christmas items. I noticed they have many new things this year. Lots of nice stocking stuffers too. I am ready. I can hardly contain myself. After Sunday is over (Halloween), the stores will all be in full Christmas mode. Department stores are begining to decorate for the season. I was in Boscovs and noticed the garlands hanging from the ceiling. Soon the stores/malls will be full of the Christmas Magic and Winter Wonderland scenes. It is so exciting to see everything about to make a the transformation. Christmas Pals, we are almost there. Have a Merry Monday everyone.

Good Morning all.... Counting down to Sunday as we will be toy shopping for the kids for Christmas. Can not wait and the fact that it will be halloween too is an added bonus. Will be working on our shopping list week to make sure we have everything covered and try to keep the numbers of gifts the same for each child.

Good Morning, My Many Monday Merry-Makers!

How's that for an alliterative begining to another week?
A week that will see us safely to Halloween and the threshhold of a new month.
That month being November.
That's right -- November. The month of Thanksgiving and.......the month when CHRISTMAS SEASON 2010 WILL COMMENCE!!

Days to the Season: 19
Days to Christmas Day: 61
Wow. Nineteen! (That sounds so much less than 20, doesn't it?)
And two weeks from today our special pre-Season posts begin.
(Are you ready, Christmasstar, Binger, Maureen, Auntie and Seawaters?)
If that isn't enough, Christmas Day itself is exactly 2 months from today!
(Feel better now about it being Monday?)

My husband has always been a Niners diehard fan. Being from NC, I have been partial to the Panthers. But for some odd reason, we really like them both. Yesterday's game was a win-win for us!

I didn't realize today is the 25th until I was catching up on the posts, so 2 months from right now there will be wrapping paper everywhere, the smell of cinnamon rolls in the air, and Christmas music blaring throughout the house, I can't wait!!

Good morning!!! Hard to believe that Christmas is only a very quick 2 months away!!! We all know how fast December goes! It is going to be Christmas before we know it! Such an exciting & fun couple of months we have ahead of us! I went shopping yesterday at Kohls (30% off) & what fun...i bought a couple Chrismtas mugs, Christmas towels. I browsed through the Christmas section. I just love it!

2 weeks from Wednesday we go to see TSO! (Trans Siberian Orchestra) The Tuesday before Thanksgiving I go with the girls in our family to see Church Basement Ladies (Christmas comedy)...Let the Holiday season begin!!! :smile:

Speaking of football...my Browns won yesterday! Holy smokes!!!!

Good Morning All My Holiday Friends,

WOW!!! Last night storms were quite crazy, we seemed to have lots of limbs in the yard and one huge tree came down as well. There is talk of a few tornadoes last night so I ll will have to see if one happened in the area or if mine was due to micro burst.

This is the start of busy week again, since we have Halloween and lots of extra hours of work. This Saturday my wife have an appointment at the fertility doctor.
