Hooray for Christmas Blossoms 2011!
Good evening, everyone!
It's been quite a busy day for me. Kim, Mike and I went out to a cheaper/alternative grocery store this morning. In total, it was about half the price that it would have cost at our normal grocery store, so it was definitely worth the trip! Otherwise, I've been in and out of the house all day. In fact, I've just returned from the gym. I did not workout yesterday, and figured I needed to get something in today (I usually workout or have practice six days a week - yesterday was my day off for the week).
I wish I could say that I saw some signs of Christmas today, but I honestly cannot. However, the leaves are falling! They must have been notified that it turned into Autumn on the 23rd, because Mother Nature has definitely flipped a switch. Beautiful scenery is beginning in Ottawa... I will go up to the rooftop patio and take some photos sometime this week.
Time for supper. I'll browse through the read and see what you're all up to in shortly after some delicious food is made/eaten. Hope you're all having a wonderful day! Only three more months until Christmas Eve!!

I was in our local mall yesterday and stopped by Macy's on the off-chance that they might have started their Christmas decorating and sure enough their Christmas section was completely finished. They always have a great display with lots of ornaments and decorations. Just one more sign that the season is just around the corner. They also sell these chocolate mints called Frango and the holidays are the only time that I see them. Macy's always puts them on sale a few weeks during the holiday season so I refrained....for now.

Crown cleared it up and said it's open all week but a special night on Wednesday. =)

Another long busy day, watching the movie Your Highness, it is okay, a bit funny. According to USA Today, Kmart & Sears should have their Christmas sections open tomorrow, but they would have done a lot of work at the Kmart near me to be finished. A big family day tomorrow if it doesn't rain.

Glad you had a good time! We try to get to a game every year too, but the Big Ten games are all so expensive, and we were busy during all the non-conference game weekends this year, so we'll just have to deal with watching them on tv. Unless someone we know with season tickets decides not to go - then we'll be there! lol

ME TOO! While I love Shatner like nothing else (I was actually at MegaCon in Orlando back in March and he was there...I think I caught a glimpse of him and nearly had a heart attack!), I couldn't get into the original or any of the other ST's that followed TNG...but I could watch TNG marathons all day! Almost like I watch SVU marathons!!
