Have fun!!!!!!

we had a great time yesterday!
Visited a winery and sampled several wines before buying a bottle of 2009 sussreserve Riesling white for our Christmas dinner.
We had dinner at Cracker Barrel just off the I90 near Buffalo, made it home before the snow started.
Also mailed all my cards while in NY because it cost less than 1/2 of what it would off cost to mail them form here.
Also go to meet an 87 year vet from WW2 at the post office....he told me not to move so fast and let him open the door because he was raised to have good manners! Such a delight to get to talk to him for awhile.

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'll be out of the office for a few hours today. My mother-in-law's sister passesd away Wednesday, and the funeral is today. She lived in Atlanta, but visited often. She'll be buried here in the family cemetary. She was a great lady, and I'll miss her. Her grandson and my son have become great friends (as well as cousins), and I think he'll be staying with us this weekend.

Sorry to hear about the loss, Brad. All the best to you and your family at this time.

I'll be out of the office for a few hours today. My mother-in-law's sister passesd away Wednesday, and the funeral is today. She lived in Atlanta, but visited often. She'll be buried here in the family cemetary. She was a great lady, and I'll miss her. Her grandson and my son have become great friends (as well as cousins), and I think he'll be staying with us this weekend.cheesy

My condolences for your loss--I'll keep your family in my prayers. BTW, a family cemetery is kind of cool--the family must go back quite a ways in that area?

Good Morning All! It's Friday! Of course, I've had a ridiculously short work week, but it's still Friday. Tomorrow I decorate! Well, tomorrow morning bright and early I clean, then I decorate. My niece offered to take us to the tree farm in her SUV, and I think we're taking her up on that. Part of my husband's Christmas present came a couple days ago, as well as our New Years Eve sparkling wine. And I've picked up part of my younger daughter's gift as well, thanks to a Payless store near my job that's closing. I'm starting to feel like Christmas!

I hope everyone who's feeling poorly feels better soon. I'm praying for those who've lost loved ones or are otherwise going through bad times. And I hope we all have a good day today!

My niece offered to take us to the tree farm in her SUV, and I think we're taking her up on that.

I would love to go to a tree farm sometime. We would have to drive quite a ways to get to one since we live in the city. Might have to make a drive to one sometime!

We had some snow fluttering down this morning. It made for a peaceful Christmas Season walk to the bus stop. I wish every morning were like it.

I spoke to my supervisor today and asked her if the company has had its Christmas party yet......she told me it is next Friday and was very sweet, encouraging me to attend !!! She has always been so nice......I guess if they didn't want me there she wouldn't have told me when it is.....so once again my Eeyore ideations are wrong !

Well, I found out that all my pain is just my back, but she diagnosed me with like 4 or 5 different issues. Now I have to start seeing the chiropractor again. Hope it helps!

As you may or may not be aware, Art Carney portrayed Santa at least 2 times.

First, he was in a Twilight Zone episode entitled "The Night of the Meek" and then in the full-length movie "The Night They Saved Christmas".
Both are well worth the watch and I try to see them every Christmas season!

We got some great news yesterday that I wanted to share! Harlowe just had some more labs done earlier in the week to check her progress, and the results came back with her Liver & Gallbladder in the normal range! Yippee! So ecstatic she is doing better...it has taken 6 months, but it finally happened and that's all that really matters. We're so relieved and happy, the best Christmas present we could've gotten!!!!!!

I feel for you! I have had so many back problems and it sure does hurt! We bought a Tempurpedic mattress and that is a life saver! I use to have problems just getting out of bed every morning because of my back. I am not having those issue anymore.
