OMG I didn't know that!!! I have like no joke 6 of their Christmas Ones now I LOVED the one Christmas one called White Christmas and Sparkling Snow... I must have bought four each of them!!! They are so nice.

I didn't even know about yankee candles until my 1st wife started buying them and that is when I found out with candles you get what you pay for...they are 26 bucks for the 19oz jar' and to this day my favorite flavor is (a flower i can't think of the name right now:)) but they discontinued it and it was the best!! Alot of ppl like the food flavored candles but I don't I guess I like any of the summer frangrances and the fall ones...alot of the christmas ones are pretty but I just don't really like to smell food flavored candles unless it's in the kitchen..I have not smelled sparkling snow..I am burning ocean air in my bedroom right now it's really a good one!

Got my lampshade hat, glass of champagne and enjoyed several dances with Carl. The fired twinkies are plentiful.
The carrot cake I brought disappeared...Carl claims no knowledge of what happened to it. (but we all know how much he loves carrots)
This place is packed! I think everyone is here for the last party of 2011.
I hear fireworks are planned for later!

I got some not so good news from my doctor over the phone the day before Christmas Eve. She was vague, so I don't have all of the details, but will share more when I know more. That has been on our minds ever since, so Christmas was bittersweet. Not trying to be a downer..

I will be keeping you in my prayers, Snowflake. Please keep us updated.

I can't wait to see how the fans react to Jagr and Talbot!

Me too! That is sometimes one of the best parts!

That is so neat with two of your grandkids having their very first Christmas ! Glad you had a wonderful time xoxoxo

That is the way it was for my parents this year, too! My son and my nephew are just two weeks apart, so it was their first Christmas. Also, 3 Christmas ago now, my daughter and my niece's Christmas was their first. They are just 5 months apart. My parents love it. My brother and I didn't even plan that either!

Do not do it! It does not work and usually only makes mom sick. I know, tried them all. My daughter was 16 days over due, tried rough roads, Castor oil, walking etc, etc. Then threw up, lived on the toilet for a day and was even more achy and uncomfortable for days on top of looking like a mac truck with a full load.
Babies come when babies come, as much as we would love to make it happen sooner, not worth it! Just relax and save the energy for when it will be needed, and it will be needed!

I couldn't have said that better!

I just hope Sidney gets back to full health again, he is a heck of a player, and in my opinion a great role model for my boys. We even named one of our cats Sidney after him. The Pens are my 1b team, with the Bruins 1a, growing up Mario Lemieux was my favorite player, Jagr was my second favorite player, I hate the Flyers, but they are my oldest son's favorite team. :x Boooo Jagr!!!

I feel the same way about Sid. I hope he comes back, but it's not looking good. What an outstanding person and player. I hate the Flyers as well. Amen.

Please keep us posted. Some of us have been down that route, and we're here to listen. Hodgkin's survivor here.

God Bless you. DH's first cousin just got through his treatment this past summer for Hodgkin's. As of right now, he is cancer for. We're all praying it stays this way!

Good morning,

I have overdone things, I am in a severe amount of pain this morning, we are getting ready to leave to get our portraits done. I am listening to Music Choice Christmas music, which goes through the 6th. My tree is on, I just love looking at my tree. I will take it easy after the pictures are done.

I hope you all have a great day.

Hope you're family potrait turned out nice! Hope you're feeling a little bit better now, too.

I will be there with bells on my toes!!!
Heading over for lunch since I do not have to be at work today!
Can I bring a year end cake?

Oh, yeah!
Forgot about the fireworks. Carl mentioned something about that.

Hey everyone!

I hope you all have had a great day! We went and did a little shopping. My son's money was burning a whole in his pocket. LOL! Afterward, we played Apples to Apples Junior. That is a fun game. Now, I am going to go watch The Polar Express on AMC. I watched it last night, but there is nothing else on TV I would rather watch.

Have a wonderful night.
Talk to you later!
:celebrate:

I am super tired! I am going to fall asleep in the hammock here at The Pines if it's okay with everyone? This hammock looks like a good one to get some zzzzz's in!

Snowflake: I will keep praying for you ((((HUGS))))

Good evening, MMC!

Made it safely back from the vet's office. The roads were very icy by me, but once in town, they were relatively clear.
Mouse received her final shot - her treatment is over

Have a great evening!!!!!!!!

glad to hear it all went well and that you are safe home again.

So I thought I would be caught up with all of the posts today, but I still have a few more pages to go. I got busy doing some stuff around the house and haven't been able to visit this evening like I wanted to.

Well, the kids are in the bathtub and getting ready to head to bed since I work tonight. Talk to you all tomorrow after I get out of bed. Hope you all have a great rest of your night!

I think my night at the Pines has went something like this so far

Thank you all for thinking of me.
I've had some minor health problems, strange symptoms for someone my age, for awhile & for the past year have gone to four specialists that doctors have referred me to. Long story short, I ended up at a dermatologist for another reason, and while I was there I asked her to do a mole check because I am so fair skinned. She found some questionable ones, and had me come back last week to remove them & get them biopsied. They came back atypical & "not good". She wants me to come back in next week for her to go in dig deeper w/ a scalpel. I'm very confused, she had her front desk call initially & when I started to get nervous & ask questions, they put her on. I could tell she didn't want to talk about it on the phone, and it was like pulling teeth to get what I got. "Probably melanoma" were her words that I finally dragged out...I just have so many questions, and am a bit scared. We have lots of cancer on both sides of my family. We just lost my Aunt to cancer last year. I am kind of shocked about all this, I stay out of the direct sun, wear hats & full sunscreen if I'm outside, etc. Especially with the strong sun here.

Anyways, thanks for the prayers. I see my doctor next Tuesday, I'll keep you posted when she returns my call this week.

xo, Stacey

Thinking of you. You'll be in my prayers.
