Hi every one :)
Yesterday was great! I even got a Christmas pyjama pants! I have been looking for that for years! It is red with white dots... I'm still in discussion with myself on if I have to pack it away (and will I then be allowed to wear it first on Christmas eve, or in Chirstmas season), or do I get to wear it now??

Today we are going over to celebrate my brothers birthday! I made him a beatles cake, it is real simple but I like it :) Also it is a very heavy chocolate cake filled with a rolo ganache (delicious) :) can't wait to get there so we can eat it!!
That reminds me I still need to post pictures of my this years Christmas cake!

Congratulations on your house !! I say keep the pyjamas out !! I say wear them NOW !! There is no time like the present to celebrate CHRITSTMAS !!!!!!! The cake sounds really neat. Happy Birthday to your brother !! Would love to see your Christmas cake too !!

Good evening,

Long day at work, but what day isn't I guess. Day off tomorrow, need to find a roof rake to get some of the snow off the roof. Just relaxing watching a Christmas episode of In Loving Color, I loved this show when I was a freshman in high school.

Enjoy your day off! I use to watch in living color too,I remember it most from junior and senior year,I use to laugh until my sides hurt when Wanda came on! or the lady that gossiped but you didn't hear it from her! I forget her name..cheesy

Good Evening Everyone!!!!!! I am on day 3 of not being able to eat but I am starting to feel a little better tonight. Hopefully I will be back to normal tomorrow so I can go tv shopping. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Hope you get to feeling better soon man! day 3 of no eating? that sounds rough!

Good morning everyone! Hope all had a good night of sleep and are ready to enjoy this sunday last day of the weekend.. I'm about to go walk my dogs since it's not freezing this morning just a little cool about 43F....have a great morning!

Good Sunday morning all. Well my wife and I had a great Saturday together, that is until last night. In the middle of the night my wife woke up shivering cold (it wasn't cold here last night at all) and she had a temperature of 100. No idea where this came from, she was feeling great all day. I am feeling a little under the weather myself, but not as bad as her, I sure hope it isn't anything serious.

I just read in the local newspaper yesterday that in the south the flu has not yet peaked and it gave all the sypmtoms of coming down with it and it said it hits in the matter of hours and you get chills and ache all over. Perhaps that is what this is. They have tests now at the Dr office that can confirm whether or not you have it right on the spot..Hope she gets better soon though in any case!

Cold crisp morning, heading off to church soon.

Hope you all have a fantastic morning!!! cheesy

Well I'm about to get ready for Church..I can't believe V day is just 2 weeks from today!! yikes...I have to get my cards today before all the good ones are taken! I have a girlfriend but we are not really serious and it's just in that awkward stage where it's still early but you don't want to get something that will make you look like an idiot or like you think you are more serious than you are...jeesh I'm too old for this...:)

hmmmm Valentine's OPERA any one? Parts now being cast....

YABBA!

yes please! =D I recently got my boyfriend a nespresso machine (is that common in the US as well???) but since it is so expensive, we usually just drink nespresso twice a week... I now have almond coffee, it it delicious, it is my sunday morning treat =D

we used real garlands as table and mantle decoration, they are actually really easy to make, and can help non-christmas tree rooms to smell more christmassy :)
I am thinking about that as well, but for our new house... I think I want to make more things myself next year, like cut-out stars and snowflakes to hang in front of our windows =D i just hope i have time to do such a things next year, I have been having exams during the most important days before Christmas for years now, I deserve a calm Chrismtas!

Thanks.. we have 5 artificial trees and would love to be able to bring that fresh pine scent into the house. I think I will have to budget extra money so we can buy real garland to decorate the inside of the house this year. I am getting so excited......

Good morning all... just got done baking a cake. We are going to my dad's to celebrated his belated birthday. His birthday was back in Nov but he had a heart attack on Thanksgiving and we were unable to celebrate it with him as he was in ICU. Now that he is mending very nicely and things have settled down we are going to celebrate it today.
Not much else going on today.....hubby bought me the orginal Clash of the Titans the other day so maybe we will watch it tonight.

Have a great day everyone!

Did someone say coffee?
No, you didn't hear that right. It was "got tea".

And with that all-important correction, Good Morning, Christmas Friends!

On we march into the 2nd half of the 5th weekend of 2011, moving ever forward toward Christmas Season 2011:
Days to the Season: 287
Days to Christmas Day: 329
Under 2 weeks now from the one-quarter Season mark.
(Wow! Fifth weekend of the year already. Incredible. Why, it's -- it's -- almost February!)

A bit warmer here this morning, where we currently stand at 45 degrees under calm, sunny skies.
A good morning for a brisk walk with a warm jacket.

You have a Super Sunday, Folks.
Enjoy the remainder of your weekend and get all rested up to begin moving another week closer to Christmas tomorrow!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! I have a tip for all of those who attend the pines on wednesday night. If carl challenges you to see if you can eat as many fried twinkies as he does. Don't Do It!!!!!! You will lose and then you will spend all night on the bathroom floor like I did or maybe I am just getting the stomach bug that is going around. Either way it has not been a fun night or morning. I hope everyone else is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Made, haven't been here in a few days, friend. Hope you are feeling better!

That's just what I needed to hear this morning. Thanks, Crown!

Good morning, all! Hope everyone had a great Saturday! We had great weather yesterday as it almost reached 70 degrees. Today, it is going to be nice, but not as sunny. There is yard work to do and I'm excited because it is at a new house. I've finally caught up on the boards...and with very few ballgames left, I know I don't have any weeks like the last one.

So, I'm off...time to play in the yard. See everyone in a bit!

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was another busy weekend here. I worked all morning, then went to my son's basketball game, then to Walmart (save me!), the back to the school to work the concession stand for the varsity basketball games. I bet I fried 100 pounds of french fries!

We about to head out to mom's for lunch and, I hope, a more relaxing day.

I hope you all have a good one! cheesy
