I don't think I could do without TV either, in the last 6 years we have had Charter, Comcast, Dish Network, DirecTV, and now back to Comcast. We have switched up for the best deal many times, and for one of the companies we dropped because of horrible customer service. It really is all about the DVR for us now since we work opposite shifts, and the music channels especially around Christmas time for all the programs.

What is wrong with me? I went to the mall, Kmart, and CVS today, they all had a ton of Christmas clearance, I showed tremendous restraint and did not by one thing, I was holding a tree skirt, a pair of pajama shorts that looked like Santa's suit pants, wall hangings, trees, and a blanket (Snuggie-like) that looked like Santa's suit also. I wanted it all and now I am kicking myself for not getting something.

My wife was proud of me though. cheesy

Good evening,

Today was a LONG day, LC and I left the house at 8:45am with a ton of errands, and didn't get home until 2:55pm. I had a Dr's appt, and my Dr. was very happy and proud of me, I have lost more weight since I last saw him in June. He was all smiles and my blood pressure is now normal, it fixed itself after I have lost more than 20lbs. LC was excellent for a 2 year old with everything we did he did not complain, cry, whine, etc... I treated him to lunch at a Burger King with an indoor playground, he was so happy running around playing with others. When we got home, JP and my wife got home shortly after us, we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner (mmmmmm, steak) and grocery shopping, I am so proud of my boys they were so good.

Some days the rewards are so great and they beat the tough days of being a parent every time.

Just getting home and comfy,I could lay here all night as I am wiped out,but of course I made plans for tonight. I may just cancel...anyway I am very excited about the upcoming weekend because I am having my kitchen and dining room repainted,so I'm going to get out of town so I won't be in the way and go back to my hometown of Atlanta and get together with a few buddies from high school,and it just may snow there sunday! knowing my luck though it will just be ice and traffic(which is always terrible there anyways) will come to a standstill..have to wait and see...everyone have a great evening!

Good morning, Christmas family !

I am just getting ready to try and work. My work has been VERY VERY slow this week and it is quite frightening to me. I get paid per line and this week I am behind by at least 700 lines !!

My other kitty who is older is sick too. He was fine and now all of a sudden he is having nausea every time he eats and other symptoms as well that I will not talk about here. I just can't lose another one so soon. Needless to say I am in an enheightened anxious state. Plus, yesterday afteroon I had taken an over the counter sinus medication that I IMMEDIATELY got a bad reaction to. I didn't think I was going to make but thank God and prednisone, I am here this morning. I am not as sad as I was but more worried than ever, which is okay. I know how to deal with that since I am the original worry wart kid.

I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmassy day. I kept the TV on all night on Music Choice - Sounds Of The Season - because today is the last day for it. I loved falling asleep with Christmas carols on !!

I am now officially certified to operate a forklift!
Passed with a 100% mark.
It was a fun course to take and driving one was much easier than I thought it would be.

In my own little world (hee hee) my season sorta begins July 25th, Christmas in July, then kicks into full swing by October. I start getting excited for Halloween and I start thinking of Thanksgiving and Christmas more and more. My tree goes up by November 1st. cheesy

I agree!!!!! As soon as I see christmas stuff at hobby lobby and then Christmas in july on QVC I start getting excited!!!!

well Im getting ready to call it a night. Had a real neat thing happen today..... I subbed at a school that I never been to before. I was leaving and on my way out ,when out of the corner of my eye, I spied a glorious glittery shiny and brite bell in a window ( it was a paper die cut decoration) That read"Merry Christmas". I threw myself in reverse and went back to take a look.

I recognized it , as one who scours ebay year round for decs, I had seen something similar before.So My curiosity peeked, I went in to the room, and what I walked into was out of this world ( from the vantage point of a vintage Christmas dec lover) It was eye candy to the max! Strung to the ceiling was a wonderland of vintage Christmas decorations made by the Beistle company. It was Delicious ,Delicious ,display of color and vintage "yumminess "

So I struck up a conversation with the teacher, who incidentally was the Art teacher. He told me that his house is full of such things and tomorrow he is going to show me pictures .I cannot wait!! He also told me that he keeps all his stuff up until the end of the month. HAVING never met him before I began to suspect that he is "one of us " I m taking my camera in tomorrow and I m going to take pictures of his classroom If I get the right "vibe "I may even tell him about us . lol

Morning everyone! Busy here today, trying to sort out my girls bedrooms and put all the new toys away, big job as 2 of them share a bedroom! then work later. Been snowing here this morning, nice to see, makes me feel christmassy, just hope we dont get too much as our councils cant seem to cope with it and the roads end up too bad to drive on!
