And with this post, CM3 is poster #9,600. And for her efforts, the prize is a copy of a description and review of a book entitled Hanky Panky...but wait there is more to the title. The complete title is Hanky Panky: An Intimate History of the Handkerchief. Woo Hoo!!! What a great prize!!!

For a second there I thought you were going past a PG rating

I just finished reading Jana's thread on her baby being due on Christmas Eve..and it has me all excited to share with you guys that I am going to be a first time dad around the holidays too..January 3rd to be exact!! It was not exactly planned but is a great great surprise!

Congrats buddy! You will be a great dad!

Good morning, friends! Mother's Day, eh? Worship the ground that my Mom walks on. Not a day goes by there isn't a phone call or a visit. My brother lives away and my Dad has to be gone working almost 9 months out of the year. After all those years of her taking care of me, I kinda see it as my duty.

Mom and me are very close. I was always Momma's Boy and to this day I still am. I am proud to say that.
Very sweet of you. I hope you have had a great day!
I just wanted to share really quickly.........My stepdaughter called this morning JUST to wish me a happy Mother's Day !!!!!! This is monumental...........Always before I haven't heard ANYTHING on Mother's Day and actually did not expect to...........When she called, I got all teary eyed.........It really meant a lot to me !!
I am so happy that she called you. =)
I'm watching In the Kitchen with David, which is my guilty pleasure!!
David is my very favorite host on QVC! Sounds kinda dorky to have a favorite host on a shopping channel.

Thank you very much! I hope I will be a great dad. one thing is for sure the next 8 months will be a new expieriance for me,I have wanted this for the longest time!:merry:

Enjoy every moment of it, it's a time you will never forget!

Good evening and Happy Mommy's Day,

We treated my wife as the princess she is, the kids let us sleep in until 8:30 this morning. 8:30! They never let us sleep past 6:30 so this is amazing. I made her choco-chip pancakes and turkey bacon for breakfast. Then we had our small cookout this afternoon with my in-laws. It was a good day for everyone.

Have a good night!

Glad you had a great day...and more importantly that you got to sleep in extra late! choco chip pancakes sounds great too btw!

I can't sleep tonight. I laid down at 8 pm and dozed a little then woke up. I need to take the dogs out one last time I guess. We are about to have a mini heat wave. Highs next week are going to be in the upper 90's, lows in the upper 60's,summer is here I think. I am trying to decide what Christmas movie to watch tonight as I drift off to sleep...seems like I always end up watching Home alone 2! Everyone have a great night!

You're a little father inland than we are. It's supposed to be in the middle 80's. Nice!

When do you have to leave?

Congratulations! What an exciting time for you, especially having a baby during such great holidays! Also, thinking of you coming back to the states at such a wonderful time of the year. Best wishes to you and the mum-to-be!

Good Sunday Mother's Day evening, my Christmas friends!

Another busy busy weekend is behind us! Today was hectic, trying to get in all the Mother's Day vistiting and dinners. We took my mom out to Savannah for lunch after church, then came home and I cooked a low country boil for my mother-in-law. Pretty good, if I do say so myself! But our weekend was tainted by a school report that was due tomorrow for our son. He was supposed to locate and identify bugs from certain groups and orders, capture them and pin them to a labeled board. Some of these aren't reallly active this time of year, so it took all of us all weekend (right up until dark on Mother's Day) to find all the crazy bugs. :x They're still in there labelling the board. Grrrr. That teacher ruined what should have been a fun weekend for Nancy.

Anyhoo, other than that, it was a good weekend. We got the hole dug for the swimming pool Saturday and they're supposed to install it tomorrow. Elizabeth is beside herself! She can't wait to jump in. LOL

Ok, I'm tired so it's jammie-time for me. I hope you all have a great evening!

I agree with you! What was that teacher thinking? But again, maybe she wasn't!

Good evening, friends! Sounds like everyone had a great day, which is what it's all about (except Brad because of the project, but it will be a great memory one day).

As for me, I played outside all day! It got to 86 here today....it was sooo nice.

Hope every gets a good night's sleep and enjoys their week. After this week, we only have three weeks of school left. Yipee!

Happy Mothers day to all mums/moms - we have Mothers Day in March in the UK, seems so long ago now!

Am getting excited as we are very nearly at the half way stage to the festive season.:merry:

Good Monday morning Christmas pals! Is everyone struggling to get up and at it like I am? I am waiting for the Coffee to kick in! This is the last week of school here for some schools districts and my GF teaches at the one the gets out on the 13th(which is friday the 13th btw)!! and I am getting her to house sit for the 4 months I will be gone so we are working on moving her in in the next couple weeks. My dogs have some adjustements to make especially with the baby coming. The Dr. actually said to carry a doll around and get the dogs use to you giving some attention to another thing. My Dashunde did not mind and just did what she always does(lay around) but the mastiff bulldaog wanted to play as usual and grabbed it from my gf and and tore it up...so I really have work with him in the next couple of months. I hope everyone has a great monday! Well as good a monday as one possibly can have!

When do you have to leave?

I leave for Bosnia on June 5th. I come back early october! I just looked at our forecast again and it still says upper 90's all week, we are not that far apart...it's wierd how it is that different! We are always the hottest part of the state that is for sure!

when I was first married my husband had a cat that did not like me. Trying hard, I could not win him over so when I got pregnant we felt it best to find him a new home. Hopefully you will be able to get you fur baby used to a new little one in the house. (get one of those computer babies they use at the high schools here to train the kids what being a parent is like)
