I just found an article that said last year was their biggest year ever for christmas in july with 46.5 million in orders. That was 14% more than the year before. So hopefully they can see it is a smart business move to keep it at 2 days. cheesy

To get a listing of the groups......go ALL the way up to the top of the page and across the top you will different headings. Groups is right next to "Home". Just click it and it should take you to a listing of all the groups !! cheesy

Okay if the Mayan's are right and the world ends on December 21, 2012 then this next christmas will be our last one. So should I plan on making christms 2011 extra special just in case?

Christmas is extra special every year no matter what is suppose to happen in the world! cheesy
 
Good evening, Christmas friends. We are just be-bopping along with the countdown and rushing ahead with over 1,400 posts. I hope you all continue to contribute so we can reach 20,000 this year. What a blast that would be! We might even have to party! I hope you all have a great rest-of-the-evening

I have given up on the NFL also, but being a Cincinnati Bengals fan will do that to you.

Good afternoon Christmas family. Not doing a whole lot right now. I took down my nativity scenes today and put away my Santas. I still have my tree up and lit. I kissed each Santa as I put him away and told him I love him (how childish is that ?!). I know they are inanimate objects but they are Christmas decorations so to me that gives them a special magic. I still have my garland up and that stays 365 days a year.

I was having trouble with my laptop. The hard drive slipped because there is no screw holding it in so when I turned it on it could not find an operating system. Despite multiple attempts of taking the hardrive out and putting it back in I kept getting the same error message so we took it to a computer place here in town and within seconds of doing the same thing I had done, the laptop was working again. Guess it likes the computer guy better than me !!

At least it is working again.

Not childish at all, remember one of the things Christmas is about is the child in all of us.

It is not a complete day if I don't stop by at least once, I only did 511 posts in the countdown last year, I am already over 150 this year so I will do my best to help. cheesy
 
Good evening,

A very busy day at work today, people rushing in because of a little snow in the forecast and Patriots game tomorrow, I hope the Pats lose just to knock the Pats fans off their perch. I counted 33 houses tonight with lights on, the count has gone up three nights in a row, I thought it would be going down at this point.
