No, no the G----- MAN!!!!!!!!! They need all the support they can get, I do not count last night they are a hurting team right now...

No wait I take that back for even in our dark days, and well let's be honest the G-Men had some real dark days, I stayed true. You can too, don't jump ship I love the Bangles even if they are hurting right now you keep the faith!!!

Sorry LB, as a fan of the Red Sox I have a hard time cheering for any NY team, it's unethical for me to do that. cheesy
I've stuck with them for the last 20 years, but it is really getting trying, it's not so much the team, it's the owner. He runs it like a minor league operation, and will never compete with teams like Pittsburgh, NE, Indy, Dallas, Baltimore, etc... without having a proper GM or scouts. I don't want to spend my money on his merchandise, so he can line his pockets.

Good afternoon,

Just a lazy day here, the boys are crazy. I can't wait until they are bigger and really start to pound the stuffing out of each other, (jk) they are true brothers best friends one moment arguing over something the next. I have to figure out what to make for dinner soon, thinking sloppy joes, or something Italian.

Have a great afternoon!

Hi friends..just a quick Hello! Still trying to catch up on things from work so havent been on here much lately :x. Looking forward to Rudolph day on Thursday ho ho ho!

How could I forget! Im about 40 minutes from DC and boy did we feel this earth quake.. one of the scariest moments of my life. I was in the bathroom at work...we are on the 2nd floor. I thought something hit into our building... scary stuff! Our sprinkler systems are hanging from the ceiling here at work and our drawers on our desk flung open. Hope everyone is safe!

As a tea-drinker, my apologies to the non-adventurous coffee drinkers---but at least you'll have something to talk about Thursday morning!

That sounds terrible---I hope things turn out all right.

Poor little Buster, I hope he's feeling well soon. What a great name for a kitty ... we had an old friend who used to joke about a neighborhood cat named Buster Kitten! (Vintage-film fans will get the pun!)

Love it!

these are pictures of my families favorite place to visit down by lake Huron. Goderich is a wonderful place, great beach and nice shops. Now it looks like this after a F3 tornado hit on Sunday.

The center building is city hall and it was surounded by beautiful mature trees.
1 person died and 40 others injured.

How awful - this is the first I heard of the tornado - saying prayers for all those affected by it.

Was the store out of instant coffee, and you caused the quake by being upset?

Those images look all too familiar to me, the people and town are in my thoughts

Buster Keaton was one of my favorites!

We love him in our house! We've got darn near everything you can get on him in video, and some film, too---silent and sound. I had the pleasure of escorting Eleanor Keaton to and from a showing of "The General" some years ago---picked her up at the airport, drove her to her hotel and the show, sat with her at the show, and drove her back to the airport next morning. She was hungry after the show, so we went to an all-night Denny's for a bite! She told me how to make an authentic Keaton hat. That was an unforgettable weekend. She was a great lady.

It's a shame that everybody who writes about Keaton and his films are obsessed with analyzing them to death. One of my best Christmas gifts last year was a book of reprints of interviews with Keaton---no analytical film students' ramblings, just answers from Keaton himself. Oh---and a special DVD version of "Our Hospitality."

Thank you all for your good thoughts regarding my younger brother. His kidneys and liver are improving, but they are keeping him on a ventilator and sedated to keep him calm. Supposedly, he also had a mild heart attack. This is my brother who was a police chief in a small town, then became a detective, then worked for the governor of NC. When we were growing up, he hated school, but went on to graduate NC State--quite a shocker for me!!! I would appreciate your continued prayers and kind thoughts. Thanks so much. Hubby is out of town on Elks business, so tomorrow, I will put chicken Marsala in the crockpot for dinner to welcome him home. Hope everyone has a great evening!

And with this post, MsChristmas is poster #17,400. For her efforts, she wins a red nose to wear for Rudolph Day!!!

My grandfather had lots of family around Goderich. I don't know if we currently have any relatives there, but I have lots of fond memories of going up there for various family functions in the 60s and 70s. It just hurts to hear about this.
