Good Morning and HAPPY NEW YEARS 2011 to my Christmas family! We were asleep way before midnight last night but was awaken with our annual gunshots around midnight! Grrrrrrrr! I expect the fireworks but I HATE the gunshots! What goes up must come down. I live in a busy city and it is illegal and dangerous. They warn everyone on the news every year to NOT DO IT but it happens anyway. Actually the fireworks are illegal in the city limits as well but that one doesn't scare me as much. My poor dogs get so frightened every New Years Eve. I swear at one time it sounded like someone shot a cannon in our backyard. Lol!

I told Wayne that maybe this year we will payback and shoot off a gun at 6:00 am after the party people are asleep and see how it feels. Muhahahaha! I wouldn't do it but it's fun to think of. cheesy

Sad to see countdown 2010 go but nice to see a fresh start on a new thread! =)

No gunshots here but it sounded like the 4th of july. I looked outside and it didn't seem to bother people that it was storming because they were putting fireworks off all around us.

I normally take all of my decorations down today but I think I am going to leave them up until next weekend. So most of my day will be spent watching football.
 
Good Morning Everyone and welcome to 1/1/11!!!!!!!!!! The rain is just starting to move out here so I might go ahead and take down my outside decorations today while the ground is still soft. I have decided that the indoor decorations should stay up another week. Most of my day will be spent watching the rose bowl parade this morning and then football this afternoon. This evening I am supposed to go over to my great aunts apartment for dinner. She always fixes a pork roast and sauerkraut for new years. I won't eat the sauerkraut but I will eat the pork. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Still raining here, but thankfully we're not flooded out like poor Queensland in Australia.
 
Did I ever tell you all that YOU ROCK!? Thank you all for last year and looking forward to spending this year with you.

Happy New Year everyone.... Had a nice evening at home. Hubbys sister and her family came over and our daughter had a friend sleep over. Made some great food and watched Jeff Dunham until it was time to watch the ball drop. The kids got to bed really really late but were up before the sun was... what gives with that?

Today we start the daunting task of taking down the outside Christmas decorations. Today is suppose to be the better day of the weekend weather wise and next weekend we start out long list of home spruce-up projects.

Well I hope everyone has a GREAT day!
