Good morning, Christmas friends. It was hot last night and we had to run the air conditioner. It will get hot today, too. I could not believe the behavior of my kiddos yesterday, even knowing they were going to have a pizza party. You would have thought they had never been in school before: whining, tattling, picking on each other, etc. I almost called it off. They wouldn't do their work without a fight. Today is the last day, thank goodness. Yesterday, and already today, the pain in my ribs is unbearable. So it's back to the doctor right after school. Now that I have whined just like the kids, I wish you all a great day!

Good morning everyone, and happy Friday! The weekend is almost here, and I'm looking forward to going to Baugher's tomorrow with my Mom. She wants to buy some plants and veggies, and then we'll have lunch at their restaurant. They have the best turkey club sandwich you'll ever eat...can't wait!

I didn't have any luck finding Christmas stuff at the yard sales this morning. It was a neighborhood sale but there was only 4 houses participating today. When they first built the neighborhood everyone use to decorate for Christmas and we use to drive through it at least once a week during the Christmas season to see all the lights. Most of the houses have stopped now but last year there was a noticeable increase in the houses decorated again. Hopefully this year even more will join in the fun again.
 
hi fellas, watching Dumbo with Kandice and my goddaughter Kimberly. Kandice has never seen it before...so she is really in love with the little elephant now....mami, he is so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.....mean old elephants :D

Seawaters, I hope you received good news at the doctors and that this finds you on the road to recovery!

Judesmama, I gave up television since I didn't want to pay so much for channels I don't watch. I don't do netflix or watch online as I don't have the technology available to me where I live. Not so sure I would even if I did - I rather enjoy the reading and crafting I am accomplishing. I do check out the free channels we get for movies, but there is rarely anything good on.

Well, after I logged out of here, the electricity went out again. Just got it turned back on an hour or so ago. The only thing we lost was the milk, the leftovers, and mayo. Oh, and approximately two days of work. I will just have to work harder this weekend and next week to make up the hours. Need to exercise a bit more diligently, too - two meals of fast food is so not good for me!

It is very cool out right now and the mosquitoes are horrendous. The Mosquito Abatement people sprayed twice last week, but it really doesn't seem like it accomplished much.

I need to check in with work - I hope everyone has a great night!!!!!!!!!!
 
going for a chinese meal tomorrow night with my girlfriends, can't wait to catch up (will probably have a couple of glasses of wine too, why not?!!) fiance will be at home with our daughter, i have him well trained :D

yeah, it's official, summer is boring me now. come on autumn... i cannot wait to see those leaves fall from the trees and to wake up to cool, misty mornings.

I decided to wear TWO flipflops to work today, and it's going over better. I got so many questions yesterday about why I was wearing one flipflop and one tennis shoe. LOL! Who knows what I was thinking when I got dressed yesterday.

Tomorrow is my Saturday to work at the store for my father-in-law. It'll be tough to do, limping around like I have a broken leg intead of just a broken toe, but I'm sure he's aready made fishing plans. I'm not going to let him down.

The kids are going to spend the day with my mom today. She has a lot of acreage for them to run & play on, and mom is teach Elizabeth how to sew. I'm sure Jacob will take his pellet gun and his XBox.

Wow that was a quick week! If it was a full week we would be that much closer to Christmas!

That was me, I was supposed to be at work and I did not want anyone to know I was there. Shhhhhhhh! don't tell anyone please. cheesy
