They found 2 spots on the inside of my nieces stomach. They are not sure what they are so the doctor took biopsy's and told my sister it will take about 2 weeks to get the results back. The doctor didn't think they were from acid reflux but said to give my niece prevacid to see if it helps until the results get back.

I have 200 cupcakes to bake for a 50th wedding anniversary open house this Saturday. They will be vanilla and chocolate. All with white icing and either gold sprinkles or gold hearts.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's hot & humid down here, for sure! I worked on the deck yesterday afternoon and made some progress. I would have gotten more done, but I had to direct my son while he cut the grass. I like my yard cut in straight lines, 45 degrees from the street. I know it seems picky, but that's the way I like it. Although he protested a bit, he finally came around a did a pretty good job. It was hot yesterday afternoon, too. The gnats were terrible!

I guess I'll try it again today. I hope ya'll have a great day! cheesy

I swear I have ADD when it comes to mowing my lawn, I start off in straight lines then I start going around in a large square, and then do lines 180* from the way I started. I guess I could never being a groundkeeper at Fenway Park. cheesy I guess it is because I hate mowing the lawn.

109 aint nothing. Here in Fayetteville we are expected a heat index of 114-116. I feel for the workers having to be outside in it.

My mother in law is doing a little better, but still a long way from where she needs to be, we will probably be moving her to the biggest hospital in the area for better observation. If that wasn't bad enough, my father in law's mother is in a coma and very near to the end, she was doing better but her body is shutting down now. Sorry to be such a downer with all this sad news.

I did watch The Santa Clause 2 tonight, I needed a little Christmas today.

I am so sorry you are going through all of this. You are NOT a downer. We would all love for life to be happy all of the time but that unfortunately doe not happen. We are all here for you Xmas. We are your Christmas family, after all. I will continue to pray for your mother-in-law as well as your father-in-law's mother. xo

Morning all!

Its cooled down here abit today and im glad as it was really humid overnight, had the windows open but there was just no air coming in!! My eldest daughter has her sports day at school today, so im going to watch her later, my youngest is being very mischeivous this morning and keeps trying to pull everything out of the cupboards! must remember to get some child locks next time I go into town!!

Claire I have one just like that - we are potty traing as well at the moment its goin in stops and starts. My kids finish today - then 7 weeks off! Yikes
Although we do disappear to France next week for a fortnight - I can hear the vineyards calling....

I threw open all the windows and doors this morning here, it is actually cool sitting here in front of the window. cheesy
We have had very few hot days here so far this summer, it comes one or two days then is gone again. so weird considering all this talk about global warming.

Good morning, Christmas Family!

The humidity has finally broken and I got some decent sleep last night/this morning. It is going to be a great day! Girls' day today - not sure what we are doing, but it should be a lot of fun. I need to log in a few hours at work this morning yet and take care of the fur kids.

Speaking of the fur kids, Bo, my chocolate lab, did the cutest thing yesterday. I was playing the radio very loud so that I could stay awake as long as possible and I caught him smiling and thumping his tale to Lady GaGa's Bad Romance. It took me a while to figure out why he liked the song, but part of the lyrics sound like the nickname I call him - he thinks it is about him. Every time I sing "ga ga oo la la" he gets such a happy look on his face. I think he smiles more than when I give him a surprise dog biscuit!
