I'm so glad to be back here.....logged right on tonight with no issues! Awesome....the proxy site was sooooooo slow! But now, I'm back with you at full speed!

It's great to see you on here friend!!!!!!! How are those Packers looking in the preseason?

Thank you, Made. Great to see you here, too! The Packers are looking very good! Extremely competitive. They've definitely improved over last season - no injuries yet. Hoping for a repeat, to be honest!

I have not heard much about your Colts this preseason... But, I am aware that Peyton doesn't look to good to start the season...

It just doesn't make any sense. It seems to kick you off for about 2 weeks and then it lets you back on. It started acting up for me again the other day but I switched back to my old router and it started letting me on here again.

The colts have looked terrible so far and we might be in real trouble if Peyton can't go. I keep hoping everyday that I will wake up to the news that they have brought in a back up that actually knows how to throw a ball.

Thank you all so much for your concern with my dearest kitty. Well he had stopped getting sick around 6:30 this morning.. since he's slept most of the day.. and is still making some strange noises. The vet said before I bring him in.. see if he gets any better in the next day.. but if he proceeds to get sick. then bring him in right away. so far he has eaten and drank water and kept both down.. so heres to wishful thinking that whatever his sickness was has passed!

Seawaters- Hope your brother is doing better!!

Hope everyone was ok in the earthquake today!

Good evening,

I am freaking out a little tonight, just saw the latest on Hurricane Irene and at this time it is tracking for us up here for the weekend. I know it is 5 days away and a lot can happen with weather, but with the crazy weather we have had so far this year, it weighs heavy in my mind. If it gets really windy the boys are going to be so scared, they still talk of the tornado all the time. Well, I did a total 180* decision on dinner, I made baked stuffed chicken breast, just a wee bit better than Sloppy Joes. It was also the first meal I made for my wife when we first started dating nearly 13 years ago. It was very good, it has been so cool at evening and night I've been dipping into our fall, winter meals a little early.

Have a good night everyone.

Good Morning MMC !

another beautiful morning here in Vermont! Meeting my sister for lunch at Applebees. Doing some shopping with mom, then just relaxing!

Hope you all have a great day!!

Britt: I hope Buster stays well! Will keep him in my prayers!

xmas365: I will keep you and your family in my prayers!

Christmasstar: That sounds like a lovely day you have planned - have fun!

Good morning!

We could be in the line for severe weather today so I have canceled my plans to run errands and am going to stay home and work on store stuff - lots to do in that area all the time!

Have a great day and stay safe!!!!!!!

So I have to make sure my Ipod is charged before Sunday night! the last hurricane that hit us in southeastern Mass was Bob in 91 and we had no power for a week.My kids have never been without power for more than a couple hours they will lose their minds with no video games,Oh well it will do them good.I hope episode 10 of the Merry Podcast is released before Sunday so I have something to listen to on my Ipod during the storm.

Good Pinesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I was totally lazy yesterday. When I got off work, I took my daughter to dance lessons and went back home to watch a movie. Battle: Los Angeles is a great movie! Then we had supper, and then I laid down on the couch to watch TV for the rest of the evening. WOW! I never get to do that! I actually had some work to do, but decided I would do it today. It was fun!

I hope y'all have a great day!

Thank you all for your good thoughts regarding my younger brother. His kidneys and liver are improving, but they are keeping him on a ventilator and sedated to keep him calm. Supposedly, he also had a mild heart attack.
I hope he improves quickly!
Checking in for the second day in a row! Hoping that I make it in on Thursday night! 2/3 milestone?! Where has the year gone? Quite the fantastic accomplishment!
So good to hear from you!!!!!

I know I have been so sick and throwing up for 24 hours that I feel like I am dying. I can barely move, talk and do nothing but sleep. I am sure animals get this 24 hour thing too and it seems and looks worse than it really is. It's much harder to watch a pet go through this because they cannot talk! I am glad your kitty is doing better!

Aww... That's a shame. =(

I am glad everyone is safe from the earthquake that hit yesterday. Wayne's parents are in Maryland and felt it too. His mom thought the dogs were up to something when they felt it, then realized it wasn't the dogs after all. =)

RachRon, xmas365, Binger and anybody I missed, stay safe from the weather coming your way.

I love reading your personal comments. They warm my heart!!!

Awww, thanks ... I've been blessed with meeting some very interesting people, even briefly.

Happy to hear that Buster is getting better!

I think you're far enough inland not to worry about the worst of a hurricane---could be windy and rainy, though. I'm keeping an eye on the weather reports, too.

So I have to make sure my Ipod is charged before Sunday night! the last hurricane that hit us in southeastern Mass was Bob in 91 and we had no power for a week.

What part of Mass. are you in? We're in Metrowest. I was still in Maryland in '91, so I don't know what happened in Metrowest with Bob. Time to stock up on batteries and candles, I guess! We generally listen to old-time radio when the power goes out.

"Good Night, Irene. Good Night, Irene.
I'll see you in my dreams".
(Actually, more like "I'll see you in my nightmares")!

Wow. This storm is creating quite the worry here in NC.
(At least the last couple of forecast tracks are taking it a bit further to the east.)
Our beach place is on Emerald Isle about 25-50 miles west of the currently predicted track. Still too close for comfort!

Well, let's blow on on over to the count as we reach the threshhold of yet another Milestone:
Days to the Season: 81
Days to Christmas Day: 123
TOMORROW, Guys!!
The 2/3 Milestone to Christmas Day.
Zoundzers!

The calm before the storm. It is a beautiful, sunny, wind-and-precipitation-free morning here in Raleigh where we stand at a marvelous 69 1/2 degrees.
(Of course, it is supposed to be a very different story here Friday and into the weekend when things start to deteriorate ahead of the hurricane.)

OK!
Let's forget our weather worries and head to the Shispering P for lots of Carl's Famous Fired Confections and gallons of Sweet Southern Iced Tea to wash it all down.
Right, Holiday?
See you there - or see you square!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday and a Pleasantly Perfect Pinesday, Friends!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is going to be hot in central Indy today. They are calling for a high of 93 and then severe storms this afternoon. I have some errands to run today and then it will be back home to get some laundry done. I can't wait to see what Carl has come up with for the pines tonight. I told him I would bring some of those high powered fans with me to see if we could blow Irene back out to sea. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
