My brother cooked them for us last Christmas. That were awesome! My wife and I were a little skeptical at first, but after eating them they are our favorite! Glad y'all liked them!

Generally, I'm a private person by nature. On Facebook, very few people can see my pictures or my posts. On here, I don't think I have ever posted mine or my wife's name, not because I don't trust those who are here, but that I don't know who has the 250,000 views on this page.
I just think it's sad we live in a world where we must be so guarded. Can remember my grandfather telling me of days where you slept with your front door open so air keep the house cool at night. He told me he never had to lock his door or his car at night. he was a big hunter and he would leave his boat out all the time.
Sad.

We are getting ready for the trip to the orchard, the kids are absolutely nuts today. I have been watching a bit of QVC, I really want those easy set never fail light trees I saw last night, my wife liked the idea of them when I told her about them, maybe in the spring when we get our tax refund I will buy one. Wasn't to keen on the flameless candles I saw this morning, especially the glittery angels, their chests lit up and all I could think of was E.T. phoning home. :grin: We are also receiving a bunch of new Christmas decorations today, my in laws are moving into a smaller house, and my mom-in-law no longer wants to decorate like she use to so she knows I am BIG on Christmas so she is giving a bunch to us.

Hello all! Thanks for the prayers! I just got out of the triage for the second time in 2 weeks yesterday,and I am only eating or drinking clear liquids...I messed up when I got out last time and ate a hamburger which made me sick for 2 days. I have lost 20 pounds in 14 days! so I need to make sure I dont loose any more. I just hope and pray this pancreatitis is not permanant! I am wanting to eat my Christmas foods SO bad! I come home tuesday and I am ready! it has been a long 4 months! take care everyone!
I am watching QVC and drinking coffee this morning as I get awake. Not crazy about some of their stuff but it DOES feel like Christmas when you watch !!
I can't wait to see your decorations this year Xmas - post pictures once you are decorated okay ? !
I have been worried as well about Britt and Dawg. Praying that they are okay.

GOOOD morning friends!
Christmas Blossoms 2011 is up and I'm stoked. We are entering the last full week of Sept., Crown has the Blossoms up, and we are 7 weeks away from the season. The best time of year has arrived! I live for these three months! While I enjoy each part of the year for different reasons, I always enjoy seeing the dog days of summer move out and school start. After a month of school, we move into the Bers and I just get so excited!
Last night was a blast! Few friends, good food, and some football on the tv. It was nice. Today, back to work while the race and football are on.
As for right now, I'm going to try to upload some pictures and see if I can't get them on the Christmas Blossoms page...

I never even thought about it that way until you guys said something. I am going to use their initials now too. I am the same way on facebook - I have my pictures and page set that only my friends can look at it. Now that I post more actively, I need to watch myself. Thanks friends.

HAHAHA...you can be rest assured that I don't drink on the nights I work. When I do, it's one glass. That's how those bottles last for so long!
That sounds like TM and I when we go to wine festivals! Actually, he's not much of a wine drinker (much prefers his beer!) but he surprised me once by going to a tasting and actually buying a bottle! I honestly thought he'd been replaced by an alien or something when this happened! =p
That's a very good idea and I've already started doing the same thing above (either his initials or DF for dear fiance, lol). I guess since I've basically grown up online and even met some people in person from the great internets, I don't think about how many people anonymously read a forum like this. I'm definitely not offended, xmas - you're a smart one! =)

Planning on watching a good deal of football today! Unfortunately only 2 of the 3 teams I favor will be able to win today, since 2 of my teams are playing each other (Colts and Steelers). I think I've realized why the Colts haven't won yet this year - I haven't put on my Manning jersey! So I will try that today and see if it helps a Manning-less team win big!!!!

Excellent! In other news, I spotted Christmas With the Kranks and Deck the Halls 2 for $10 in the Quickie convenience store attached to my building! I may have to pick them up very shortly!
