Happy Friday morning, everyone! Or should I say, Happy first day of Autumn!
3/4 to the Christmas Day on Sunday, but tomorrow marks 50 Days to the Season. One of those hidden milestones, really. 50 days is certainly not a long time. It's hard to believe that it is so close considering right now I am at the tennis club watching 18 full courts of tennis being player. Temperature-wise? It's about 64F - very nice! We're supposed to reach about 78F, too. How's that for fall?
We have another group of students arriving in about 15 minutes, so I should prepare for them. I'll check in a little later. Glad to see that everyone is excited to welcome in a new season! Autumn 2011 has arrived.
Have a great Friday!
Coach- I'm pretty sure that it was you who told us all to try white chocolate chip pancakes. Well I did and they were great. My mom and niece both loved them.
I'm the same way with my niece's. The only place I will post pictures of them is my facebook page because I can control who will see them.
I do not know how I missed the count here. With this post, Brent is poster #21,000. For his efforts, he wins a (new) box of Winter Puffs in honor of seeing his first Christmasy commercial for 2011!
Good morning, Christmas family!
I hope all of you are feeling better!!!!!!!!
Another busy day planned here, but I will take it easy as I have been feeling blah of late. The sun is shining and it looks like FALL - the leaves seemed to have changed color overnight. Mid-Michigan can sure put on the color show!!!!
Have a super Merry Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!
Good morning one and all,
We are getting ready for the trip to the orchard, the kids are absolutely nuts today. I have been watching a bit of QVC, I really want those easy set never fail light trees I saw last night, my wife liked the idea of them when I told her about them, maybe in the spring when we get our tax refund I will buy one. Wasn't to keen on the flameless candles I saw this morning, especially the glittery angels, their chests lit up and all I could think of was E.T. phoning home. We are also receiving a bunch of new Christmas decorations today, my in laws are moving into a smaller house, and my mom-in-law no longer wants to decorate like she use to so she knows I am BIG on Christmas so she is giving a bunch to us.
Have a great day!
PS: Anyone hear from Britt or Dawg on how they are feeling?
I can't wait to see your decorations this year Xmas - post pictures once you are decorated okay ? !

Good evening, MMC! I had a lovely day today. I went up to my husband's hometown to the Potatofest, which is a huge craftfair. I went with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. The local fire department also has a wine tasting and I went to that too. I bought 10 bottles...haha. I will now be set for the next year! My husband and I like our wine. My father-in-law actually makes it, so that is how I've become to like it. My husband had his first day back to work today - they were really busy and he said he felt like once he would start to get caught up on paperwork from one accident or fire call, then they would get another one. Welcome back! Well...I guess I will head to bed. He works again in the am and I head back to work tomorrow night at 11p. I love nightshift and it's easy for me to stay up all night, but will NOT be easy for me to be up all night when I haven't done it for almost 3 months. I'll catch everyone tomorrow!
Hello all! Thanks for the prayers! I just got out of the triage for the second time in 2 weeks yesterday, and I am only eating or drinking clear liquids...I messed up when I got out last time and ate a hamburger which made me sick for 2 days. I have lost 20 pounds in 14 days! so I need to make sure I dont loose any more. I just hope and pray this pancreatitis is not permanant! I am wanting to eat my Christmas foods SO bad! I come home tuesday and I am ready! it has been a long 4 months! take care everyone!
You already give away great prizes, but now you are telling the future.
You are good!
cheesy
GOOOD morning friends!
Christmas Blossoms 2011 is up and I'm stoked. We are entering the last full week of Sept., Crown has the Blossoms up, and we are 7 weeks away from the season. The best time of year has arrived! I live for these three months! While I enjoy each part of the year for different reasons, I always enjoy seeing the dog days of summer move out and school start. After a month of school, we move into the Bers and I just get so excited!
Last night was a blast! Few friends, good food, and some football on the tv. It was nice. Today, back to work while the race and football are on.
As for right now, I'm going to try to upload some pictures and see if I can't get them on the Christmas Blossoms page...
LC & JP are the initials of my sons, I made a deal with my wife when I first started posting here I would not use their names for safety reasons. My wife is very weary of internet safety as she has seen many things being a teacher. It is nothing against anyone here, I hope no one is offended.
Yep!! I just go to the program guide on their website and write out a list of all the shows that should contain christmas stuff for the following week.
Dawg- I hope your feeling better and have a Safe trip home friend!!!!!!!!

The next winetasting is at Sugar's!!! But, Sugar, no wine for you on the night shift. It's against the law!!!

I see that xmas365 uses initials of his kids names but some use dh (darling or dear husband) dd (darling or dear daughter) ds (darling or dear son).
