Just getting in from the gym...I have decided on top of everything else going on in my life now that I also want a new car. So I have a baby due on Jan 3rd.. the holidays coming up which I have waited for all year, and now I need a new car. I love test driving cars, but I am terrible at negotiation on a price. I don't want to be a sucker but I also don't want to be a pain to the salesman. I think I want a toyota camry,They are due for a complete redesign next year so I am thinking about waiting until next summer/ fall, when the 2013 camry comes out. I have test driven a 2011 camry and it drove good! Even small economy cars drive good these days.I need to wait until at least the baby comes to see what size car we need as well. have a good evening everyone!

Hello everyone.
I've had a very stressful past 24 hours. Yesterday, my mom put Sergeant's flea & tick product on my cat Louie. A few hours later, Louie had a seizure. This consisted of him shaking, twitching, drooling excessively, and being unable to walk. We had to rush him to the nearest animal hospital where we were immediately charged $600, and that was the minimum payment. We struggled to pull together the money, but we had to, for Louie. He had to spend the night there, and he had another seizure. In the morning, we were told we was in critical condition all night and we need to take him to another vet, but we don't know if we can because we will be charged another $600, and we simply cannot afford it.
This cat is like my baby, and I pray to God that he will get better.
And as a warning to you all who have pets: DO NOT USE SERGEANT'S OR HARTZ FLEA & TICK PRODUCTS.
I don't know why these products are still on the market! Reviews online say that these have caused dogs and cats to be blinded, have seizures, and even die.
So please, be careful with the products you use on your pets!

Happy Rudolph Day Christmas friends! Just think in one month it will be Black Friday and Thanksgiving will be over =0/.... time is starting to go by too fast now. I hope November and December go by super slow but you all know they always fly by!

Im having some minor surgery done next Wednesday (and Im looking forward to listening to Christmas music on music choice tv channel all day while I recoop).. nothing major but it has had me a little worried, getting myself all worked up and have been throwing up , upset stomach a lot because of it! Been busy at work but hoping to be able to get back on here a few times a week again! I miss you guys and I hope you all are doing well!

MsChristmas~you're in my thoughts and prayers! (((HUGS)))

Hello Christmas family! It's sooo great to be caught up on the countdown! The household is pretty much back to normal again and the kiddos are almost 100%. EA now has a swollen eye, which the last time she had a viral infection, the same thing happened. At that time, the doctor had no idea why it happened, but said with some allergy medicine, with time, it would go away. It took a few days, but it did go away. This time, the same thing has happened, but she has already had it for 2 days and it hasn't improved at all. I guess I will just keep an eye on it. Otherwise, both kids are better.

In other aspects, I am off tonight. Thank goodness. I worked 5 days straight and work was super busy. I need a day off. Trick-or-treating is Thursday here and we're taking the kids out. EA is excited, even though she doesn't fully understand. It will be a fun time.

Well, I hope you're all having a great day. Talk to you all on here later!

sugar~boo to EA's eye but YAY to the night off! Kick back and RELAX!

Very nervous about the interview and road test tomorrow, not at all sure I am doing the right thing even going, knowing how much I disliked being on the road last time I tried trucking. But not working much is a pain to, especially when trying to pay bills!

Christmasstar~ Good luck on your interview and road test!

I made it to work (yay!) and since I was soo busy the day went by very fast. Right now, I'm consuming a totally unhealthy but sooo yummy dinner! Pasta shells mixed w/ tuna and diced tomatoes and shredded mozzarella cheese. YUM!!

Charlie Brown in just a little over 48 hours!!

I use that product all the time and have never had the effect on my cats that yours has. Perhaps you got a bad batch or your dear Louie is allergic to it.

Good Luck Star!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll say an extra prayer for you tonight.

Oh, I'm just sitting here loading up my MP3 player with Christmas music so I can go all-Christmas on Nov. 1st! I should pull the air conditioners out of the windows, as it's getting chilly in here.

Remember last Friday when we folded 5,000 flyers at my office? The client made revisions and we folded 4,400 more today ... I hope that's the final version!

Im having some minor surgery done next Wednesday (and Im looking forward to listening to Christmas music on music choice tv channel all day while I recoop).. nothing major but it has had me a little worried, getting myself all worked up and have been throwing up , upset stomach a lot because of it! I know it's not easy, but try not to worry TOO much. Just focus on your recuperation backed by Christmas music. We'll miss you while you're out!

Good luck---you'll do fine!

Do some research on Edmunds.com---you can find good information on there re the price you should negotiate for. Mr. and I are no great shakes at negotiation, but armed with the dealer's cost, we've been able to get what we want. Remember, negotiate the PRICE---not the monthly payment. We also love Toyotas---we've been driving Corollas for ten years now. If you decide you want something a little smaller than a Camry, consider a Corolla.

Good morning fellow Christmas lovers. Exams are over and I'm taking the day off. Right now, I am watching Family Guy and having one heck of a time. My plans for today are to continue with off-season training. It can get pretty boring when soccer isn't on, but what I love most about off-season training is that you've got a lot of time to sharpen your skills, improve on the little things and make sure that you can reach your full potential. I'm an old school trainer, I don't use machines that are high in technology straight away, I always use barbells and dumbbells. I mean, I'm not a gym junkie. I just love getting fitter, faster and stronger every single day. Nothing beats achieving your goals if you have the dedication and commitment to do so. Catch you later.

Oh- here's the second pumpkin my husband carved over the weekend: Dawn Of The Dead. Creepy!

Your husbands pumpkin carvings are awesome! Better than the ones I seen on the food network pumpkin carving challenge!

I have to send my laptop in to get fixed. CS said it was the cable to the monitor coming lose and not the screen itself because it only does it at certain angles. So I have to find a box and get some bubble wrap and then email them to schedule a pick up with fed ex.

Hope they can get it fixed fast and sent back to you fast!

Good evening everyone!

Long busy day today, just unwinding and watching the Penguins game, they are up 2-0 on the Islanders and Malkin is back in the lineup tonight!

Mowed the grass for what I hope is the last time I will need to for the season!

Hope y'all have a great night and awesome day tomorrow! :tree:

Good Morning, friends!!

It seems like we're all tired this morning!! I couldn't sleep last night, and only got a couple of hours in before the alarm went off. It was so hard to get out of bed!!!
I'm drinking lots of Diet Dew to get me through!

I listened to the Home Alone soundtrack on my way in to work :)

I'm getting so excited for Christmas commercials!! So far, it's just been the Glade Christmas candles one that is truly Christmassy. Even seeing the Puff's kleenex winter commercial makes me happy! Is that strange?! Wait a minute, who am I talking to?!?!

It's going to be a long work day- lots to catch up on.

Awesome pumpkin!

Good afternoon everyone ... Well I am a little heart broken... actually a lot heart broken ... the other night our 10 yr old daughter questioned us about Santa. Now this has been the 2nd time in the past few months and we felt we had to explain everything to her. At first she was upset and cried. We explained that there is more to Santa then just the jolly red suited man himself. We went over what the season is about and what it embodies ... The bright side is that we have a 5 yr old that still believes and our daughter will help him keep that belief. She will also help in make elf mischief a couple nights a week by deciding what mischief the magical elves will get into. We also told her that what Santa embodes is very real and that is something that we believe in.

On a better note.... we bought ou first ornament of the season last night! Saw a few more that I wanted so I am going to try to pick up at least one new ornament or something christmassy every pay day....

Hope everyone has a great day!

That must have been so tough, I am dreading the day my boys start questioning the existence of Santa.

What was wrong with Geno? I know he missed quite a few games, but never heard what was wrong.

Good evening,

Stressful day at work, I had to train with my store manager today, I have known her for years, but I have always felt she has never really liked me much. It worked out well, I learned a lot but I still don't feel comfortable around her. Day off tomorrow, I don't have much planned it is supposed to rain, so raking is more than likely out.

Have a great night!

Some pain issues in the knee he had surgery on, it was more precautionary to keep him out a few games, he seemed fine tonight and was a factor in the 3-0 shutout of the Islanders!
