Good afternoon, everyone!

We have officially entered the Christmas Season. It's Christmas Time (Oh, Yeah)! The excitement of the year 2011 has built into the ultimate culminating experience, the Christmas Season. We have waiting all year to share this moment. Some times, have went slow, some fast, but we are here. Let the Christmas lights shine bright and Christmas music delight, the 2011 Christmas Season is upon us!

I was more than excited to ring in the Season last night. I played my first Christmas song of the Season - Jingle Bells by the Barenaked Ladies - I just love the the slow build up into the fun music that helps celebrate the Season.

The Season can now be seen everywhere. in fact, Kim was adamant about putting up the Christmas Tree yesterday evening as well as the lights! I was almost a little teary-eyed when setting up my musical lights. The music worked fine, but there was an issue with one of the lights... which led to the entire string not working! These lights have plenty sentimental value to me. They were my grandmother and grandfather's lights from when I was a child. I believe that they are from the late 70s or early 80s. They play about 10 wonderful songs and the lights blink along with the music! Of course, they have a non-musical feature, too.

My grandfather past away about six years ago. I still think about him ever day. My grandmother is in a retirement home. The only thing I wanted from their house was these lights. If they had stopped working, I would have lost a big part of my childhood. I want to hold on to these lights forever. Anyway, I happy to report that I somehow managed to fit the issue and the lights are just as magical as every Christmas Season I have experienced! I love it.

OK. Such a long post that I have delayed myself. Kim, Mike and I are supposed to head out to see if we can find some Christmas movies and more Christmas decorations. The apartment is quite bare. We need more to celebrate the Season.

Have a wonderful Sunday. But, most of all, a wonderful first day of the Christmas Season, everyone!!!!

Cowboys game isn't showing here.....

Darn.

It's not on here either friend. We just get this sorry excuse for a football game. At least it looks like the Cowboys are winning 21-0.

I am right there with you, Mo, on the yuck ness! I have been popping Dayquil and Nyquil for a day and still feel like you know what!

I hope you feel better soon, Seawaters!!!!!!!

Good evening Christmas friends!

Four days with cake now! Haha..

Only two weeks till advent.
And till we will decorate for Christmas.
Happy happy time! =D

People around me thinks Im crazy
But, what do they know?

:yahoo:

Good morning, friends! Man, was that ever fun last night. That was so much fun. Y'all make sure you are here on the 23rd of Dec. for kinda the same thing. It's not a long, but just as crazy!

Busy day ahead. Going to pick up the house and finish all the decorations. Hope you have a great day!
yes last night was fun!
One question, just how big is your house that you are able to pick it up?

Good afternoon (morning for me, I just woke up) everyone!!
I have so much to do today! Lots of homework, 3 college applications, and cleaning! My room looks like about 7 tornadoes hit it, so it should take awhile. :/
Hope you all have a better day than me! haha

It is here for some reason though. I was hoping they would have had Cincy vs Pittsburgh on, but I will have to rely on Redzone.

Merry Christmas Season, Christmas family. It is quite chilly here in northern California. Darlene Love has made her first appearance on KLOU this a.m. I connected up to this station through RJD who started the thread about stations already playing Christmas music. Now with most, if not all, stations streaming, it is easy to find lots of Christmas music early. Then I have Live365 on my computer, too, so I can listen to Christmas music year round. Last night was a blast. It was hard keeping up, but I read every post in real time (maybe a few minutes behind). I hope everyone has a great day. Hubby and I are headed down to the Elks Lodge for a Poor Man's Brunch put on for the hunters. Then I will come back home and do some schoo work. I have parent conferences this coming week. Then we will be off a week for Thanksgiving Vacation. Talk to y'all later. I will be here off and on all day.
thanks!
I tired to listen to KLOU but they do not like Canadians. That is why I love MMC radio! They like everyone there and the music is always great all year long!

Hey all

Glad last night was a superduper success - next one.........DARLENE LOVE!!!

I'm an incubus of viral plague right now. I'm now on vacation for a week and have landed with b*tch cold from he ll :-( I've got the works and then some and am feeling particularly sorry for myself.

Just wanted to say hi, yay for the season, and will now go fester under a quilt. I even turned off my Christmas movies; that is the extent of my yuck-ness!!!

:o
Hope you feel better quickly! (I hate being sick and so avoid it as much as possible)

I love the Barenaked Ladies!
Decorations that bring back memories are the best kind to have.
Have fun shopping, one of my favorite things to do at Christmas!

Love your post Brent! ♥
