Well it took me a couple of hours but I finally read all of the posts from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. So I think I am caught up now.

Seawaters- Thanks for the million dollars!!!!! I just wish that you had mentioned that they were Zimbabwean dollars. When I went to exchange them I was kind of shocked to learn that they weren't even worth a penny in US currency.

Comming to you from Dundas Square, downtown Toronto. I llove my new phone! I can now visit here from almost anywhere. Right now Laura is looking up address of where we need to be.

I love that too - it's so great to be able to log onto MMC or anything else I want to, anytime, anywhere! cheesy

I need a better phone.:-(

I did get a cheap android tablet that I wanted for christmas. It's a whole lot easier to take with me than the laptop was but I still need a wifi signal to connect.

Just stopping in for a minute to say goodnight, I just watched the Penguins lose to the Flyers, really tough loss and watching Jagr get a goal and Talbot get an empty net goal made it worse

Other than that, very peaceful and enjoyable day today.
Getting away from the countdown thread now though for the night....so much food talk going on the last couple pages the more I read the hungrier I get! :cheesy:

Hey everyone! Hope you're all having a great morning so far. I am checking in real quick before sleeping for a few hours.

Work was horrible last night. I earned my money, that is for sure!

my daughter got off night shift at 7am, she is also sleeping.
Funny thing is, she had a horrible night too...works at a hotel, front desk. Hockey tournament in town, lots of kids. This time it was not the kids that were the problem. Some workers were replacing and cleaning a large fan in the kitchen and were actually singing, loudly. In a hotel at midnight! That is a company I would certainly not deal with again, so thoughtless. Kept a couple of families up and annoyed now demanding a free room (which I agree they should get) Of course, my daughter being on the front desk is the one who got all the yelling at, actually had to leave for awhile because they guy was getting really nasty over something she could do nothing about. Told her she should have sent the guest in to talk to the workers and yell at them instead!

Oh my, I am ranting...sorry, continue with your day, just ignore the crazy poster mom who has her back up over someone threatening her daughter!

I would be upset too !!! You have every right in the universe to defend your child !! You are a WONDERFUL mom xoxo

We had a nice dinner with my parents last night, gotta love Italian food. Went home stuffed.

Today, with my parent's help, we will start taking some decorations down. We usually wait until next week, but work will be busy & with my doctor appointments, I probably will feel a bit overwhelmed. So, I choose to accept their help!! And, hopefully won't get as sad as I normally do

Meceka, so happy to hear Mouse is doing well, and that the treatments are done! Hugs to you all.

Xmas, hope you got some rest & are feeling better today. BTW, we have a Taco Bell around the corner from our house..so good!

I am watching The Most Wonderful Time of The Year on Hallmark...it is the last time it is on this year. Wish is sleeping happily cuddled up beside me...actually he is stuck to me like glue and I love it !!!

Work has been really really bad this week and I have some kind of tummy thing going on UGH ! But this too shall pass xo

All this talk of food is making me hungry, too! And I just ate breakfast!! Do any of you guys have an In & Out Burger? Soooo good!!! That's one of our favs. We also love Fatburger & Cafe Rio for Mexican. Otherwise, we're pretty old school- I love A & W, Burger King, and Dairy Queen =)
