O'Malley hasn't paid much attention to snowflakes, but yesterday he was watching them in attack mode. Guess he thought they were fluffy flies or something.

Just got ready for work after my fitness routine at the gym. I'm more ready for a nap than work, but hey - someone's got to do it!

Days to Christmas Day: 347
And what good fortune we have here indeed with our first Milestone being a scant 5 days away -- the 300-day mark to the start of the Season!
(Aren't we lucky folks to have the Season to count down to as well as Christmas Day. Forty-Two fewer days to wait!!)

Still cold here at 35 degrees.
At least the rain has ceased and sunny weather should be with us for a while, albeit within a cooler environment.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It is freezing cold here this morning. We just got a little over an inch of snow but the wind is terrible and it feels like -4 degrees here right now. So my plan for today is to sit here cuddled up with a blanket all day to stay warm. Well I might do some laundry too and there is that turkey to cook. Okay I'll probably be working around the house but I would prefer to sit here cuddled up with my blanket. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Send him LOTS of pictures of Jordan. I bet that will have theraputic effects!!!

Better yet, take Jordan to him to hold. I have worked many years in nursing homes and it is amazing the effect a baby has. The whole place seem to brighten up. Just the therapy needed!

I am willing to have my arms broken from washing too many dishes just to be surrounded by snow! You hear that Made!? Ha ha!

They are saying we are supposed to get all kind of ice first and then snow on top of that, so it's going to be really dangerous out, especially in the morning. My brother called off of work, but my dad drives all day long for work.

I LOVE to find out pet names and WHY they have the names they have. When I read about Alvin, though, I laughed out loud--a tortoise that runs!!! Totally cracked me up!!! My brain is going there!!!

We didn't name him (but a cute name!), he was given to us from my brothers family because his grandson didn't pay a lot attention to him. Not to worry, he was fed and cage cleaned but that was about it.

Can you believe it but I really LOVE this tortoise! He gets baby talked too! Ha ha! We take him out all the time to, yes, RUN around! This little guy can ruuuuuuuuun! Like Forest Gump! We also take him outside on nice days and he runs all over the yard. He is one happy tortoise! He belongs to my son who spoils him too so I am Alvin's grandma. =)

Hey now! Friday the 13th is a lucky day! I was born on the 13th and it does land on Friday sometimes. =)

TGIF everyone! it's a beautiful day here sunny and temps in the low 40's! My mom and sister made it into town right on time and Brandi's folks are still here tour folks met for the first time. We had a great evening and went out to eat at this steak house called Long horns. Tonight my mom is cooking twice baked potato and Baked ham. I love my mom's cooking and have missed it so much. I may even gain some weight while she is here! The baby is still sleeping good. Every day it looks like he is growing too. I better get back to work now,I hope everyone has a great friday!!

Best Friday ever!!!!!!!!!!

The roads are bad, my cousin almost wrecked twice going to her class this morning. I was getting worried because I didn't want to have to drive in it and the snow keeps coming down. I just checked my college email and both of my classes for the day got cancelled. Four day weekend for me!

I am so relieved that I don't have to dig my car out, go warm it up, freeze, and then worry about driving to campus.

Good afternoon, MMC!

It is gorgeous out - only about an inch of snow, but the trees and bushes look frosted with snow icing.

I am working on store stock today. The next display I am doing is a winter one - blue, white and iridescent glassware. So far I haven't had to go browse in the basement for stock - yay! It is cold down there!
