Good afternoon,

I just got back from my visit to the foot dr. I am now in a walking boot aircast, I am to be out of work for the next 2 weeks, and I can't go back until after my follow up appt. It looks like I tore part of my fascia ligament away from my heel, if the aircast doesn't work, They will put me in a hard cast. I am so frustrated. :-?

Aww... Well now it's time to stay on MMC, watch Christmas movies and listen to Christmas music!

Guess what I found in one of my cabinets the other day while organizing??? My Christmas cookie cutters!!! A few weeks too late! When I was baking for Christmas I went to look for them and found Halloween ones. I didn't search any longer because I was thinking that maybe I never had any so I gave up the search. Welllllll, I was wrong! I forgot that I bought some on sale a couple of years ago, put them away and forgot about them. They still have not been used.

So I am depending on all of you to remind me I have cookie cutters for my Christmas 2012 baking! :!!

The doctor called today. The news is not good. I go back tomorrow to talk options. I am at peace, even now!!!

I'm sure my blood pressure is going to be soaring when I drive to class tomorrow. The road to my school is old, narrow, and windy with a really steep hill. I wish college would cancel but they never do.

am sure you are 2 weeks maybe more !! and having to wear that aircast as well hopefully your not need the hard cast

Friday ... So busy at work, I didn't get a chance to check in before now. Mr. will be home before long. I think we'll have a pizza delivered. It's so cold and windy, and Mr. came down with a cold yesterday, so we like the idea of staying warm and cozy this evening.

Even though you got bad news, the GOOD news is that you HAVE options. Please keep us posted. And please PM if you want to talk about details, or vent---I've been there, so I don't mind. I remember days when I was too tired and burnt out by the fight to try to be cheerful. That's when it helps to have the "invisible army" behind you.

The roads are bad, my cousin almost wrecked twice going to her class this morning. I was getting worried because I didn't want to have to drive in it and the snow keeps coming down. I just checked my college email and both of my classes for the day got cancelled. Four day weekend for me!

I am so relieved that I don't have to dig my car out, go warm it up, freeze, and then worry about driving to campus.

I'm so happy to hear that you got to stay in ... I was worried about your having to drive in the snow and ice. I know how nerve-wracking that is, especially since I drive a Corolla and not an SUV.

At least you're on the way to getting it to heal. Be good and do what the doctor says, now! I hope the cast helps to take away the pain.

In the morning I am driving my inlaws to the airport in jacksonville to catch thier plane back to boston. It was a good visit with them and I hope they come back soon.
