Just and hour and a half left of this work week. I forgot I have a long 3 day weekend too! In the morning I am driving my inlaws to the airport in jacksonville to catch thier plane back to boston. It was a good visit with them and I hope they come back soon. they are talking about coming Easter Weekend. The weather could not be nicer today. Lows tonight will be around 30F and tomorrow highs will be in the middle 50's and sunny. It is suppose to snow tonight in North Ga,I don't think I will be going on a snow trip this year but that is okay. Next year will hopefully be snowier and colder anyway. Well I better finish up on the paperwork. everyone have a great friday afternoon!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It is freezing cold here this morning. We just got a little over an inch of snow but the wind is terrible and it feels like -4 degrees here right now. So my plan for today is to sit here cuddled up with a blanket all day to stay warm. Well I might do some laundry too and there is that turkey to cook. Okay I'll probably be working around the house but I would prefer to sit here cuddled up with my blanket. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

We have the very same weather !! Brrrr.Thank goodness !! I will be curling up with my Wish...just as warm as a blanket only more affectionate!!! xo

Today will be lucky and awesome!!!!

I was born on the 13th and it does land on Friday sometimes so I don't want to think of it being unlucky.

I have a black cat so I am going to let him cross my path all day today. I think I will set my ladder up too and walk under it a few times. :wink:

Good morning, and happy Friday the 13th, everyone! It's a beautiful day here in Maryland; sunny, breezy, and 34 degrees. I made it in to work again today; wow! two days in a row. Maybe I can work a whole week next week.

Best Friday ever!!!!!!!!!!

The roads are bad, my cousin almost wrecked twice going to her class this morning. I was getting worried because I didn't want to have to drive in it and the snow keeps coming down. I just checked my college email and both of my classes for the day got cancelled. Four day weekend for me!

I am so relieved that I don't have to dig my car out, go warm it up, freeze, and then worry about driving to campus.

Good afternoon, MMC family! How is everyone on this fine day? I'm well, just taking a break from cleaning. I never did finish reading all of yesterday posts because I fell asleep on the couch doing so. I plan on doing that here afterbI finish cleaning. I only have one more room to do!

Nothing else is really going on here today. I am just trying to keep warm. I work this weekend, so back to work I go tonight!

I am about to gag just thinking of the taste of the Brachs ones! They don't taste right at ALL. They seriously taste like they have been sitting around and rotting for years lol! I was in Walmart and that was all they had, unfortunately. They had one package of Necco conversation ones, but all in sour flavors. Maybe I'll have to try Target!

I'm so glad someone else feels that way about Brachs hearts! I actually went to Walmart today and found some Necco-looking hearts, so we'll see. They didn't have Necco anywhere on them and they were called HeartLines...so I'm not sure what they'll taste like! I'll let you know so you can find some!

The doctor called today. The news is not good. I go back tomorrow to talk options. I am at peace, even now!!!

Oh Seawaters...I hope whatever it is, you end up okay. I will definitely be thinking about you and sending every single positive thought your way!!

The weather is actually getting scary here. I am afraid we are going to lose power. The temperature dropped from 45° F to below 30° F as of the last hour and a half or so. It went from a downpour to it sounding like freezing rain, and now all I am hearing are crazy strong gusts of winds.

They are saying we are supposed to get all kind of ice first and then snow on top of that, so it's going to be really dangerous out, especially in the morning. My brother called off of work, but my dad drives all day long for work.

I'm sure my blood pressure is going to be soaring when I drive to class tomorrow. The road to my school is old, narrow, and windy with a really steep hill. I wish college would cancel but they never do.

In my part of PA, it's just really REALLY windy, but no precipitation so far. Please be careful!!

Hello Christmas family!!

Today is FREEZING!!! I can't even begin to think about going back outside again, I just do not deal with cold weather well at all!! Today I had to go to Walmart to run errands for work, and in the time it took me to go from the car and back into Kohl's, my hands were raw and red. In the 15 minutes I had left in my day at that point, they didn't get any less red. I know I might be in the strong minority here, but I cannot WAIT for warmer weather!!!

Yesterday, I went out with some of my best friends from Kohl's to one of our "famous" happy hours! I am so lucky to work with such great people who all share the same sense of humor, and we can all sit around and tell stories and just laugh for hours. The next happy hour is going to be a part bridal shower for one of the girls, who is getting married in March (one of the 5 weddings I'm either in or attending this year!), so it should be a great time!

I think I'm going to take a nap, as I just got extremely tired all of a sudden. Then it's onto laundry, taking down Christmas decorations, and getting ready for my music fraternity meeting in Maryland tomorrow. Hopefully I will warm up at some point too! Have a great weekend, everyone! <3

My mom got great news!!! The lump is either a benign cyst (which he said 90% are) or thyroid cancer. If it is simply the cyst, it can be drained. If it is thyroid cancer, it is 100% curable.

One appointment down, one to go....

That is great news! Continuing to pray for your mom!

Good afternoon, Christmas family

It seems like I have been remiss in my devotion to you all and our Christmas home lately. I am sorry. It seems all I do anymore is play with my Ipod. I have been playing a couple of games. One is Plants versus Zombies and the other is Animals versus Zombies. Neither is violent or graphic - The zombies in both are comical and actually kind of silly looking but I am hooked on playing them !

It is rainy here today but like Made and Meceka we are supposed to be getting very seasonable weather starting tomorrow and through the weekend. I myself cant wait !!! I am once again starting to have a small issue with asthma and more frequent migraines. I can take the migraines, but breathing problems are the worst for me. It will get better though. I think it is just that it has been SO wet lately !

Nothing much going on here. I get my hair done this Saturday and I can't wait for that either !! I won't tell you what I look like because you wouldn't like how I describe me !! But it isn't good.

Wish, Ivy, Clancy, Smokey and Lily are all doing very well. If everything goes okay, Wish will be 16 in August !! That is quite old for a canine. As long as he acts okay and is eating and feeling okay, those are the main things. I am off tomorrow and Saturday and my husband and I have (hopefully) some running to do. I need to get some screen covers for my Ipod and I want to look at laptops. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding a brand of laptop and also how many GB should I look for ?? I want it to have plenty of memory.

Seawaters, you and I were talking about Disneyland. My mother lived in Garden Grove, which is very close to Anaheim. You know how those towns are VERY close to each other! She lived on the same street as the high school there.

When I mentioned she sang in a choir at Disneyland the first year it opened, it was CHRISTMAS music!!! I never knew that until now! How cool is that!?

The students who sang there were given free tickets to ride the rides, which now it's just an all day pass to ride unlimited. Back then you were given tickets for individual rides. I guess you knew that already though. =)

Very lucky indeed! Exactly how I feel about my co-workers, boss and owner of where I work. They are the best people in the whole world! I have been there 9 years and couldn't imagine working for anyone else!

Good afternoon,

I just got back from my visit to the foot dr. I am now in a walking boot aircast, I am to be out of work for the next 2 weeks, and I can't go back until after my follow up appt. It looks like I tore part of my fascia ligament away from my heel, if the aircast doesn't work, They will put me in a hard cast. I am so frustrated. :-?

I am back from my running around, the x-ray showed I have bone spurs in my heel, but now I have an appointment with a podiatrist tomorrow to make sure there isn't a tendon issue and see what else is wrong.

Ouch! That sounds painful. I am glad you found out half of what is going on. Good luck today on finding out what else is going on!

Thanks everyone for the prayers and thoughts for my mom. She had her appointment this afternoon. They said they don't believe that it is bladder cancer but they do not know for sure. She has to go for a bunch of tests now for both that and because of the throat thing. Hopefully since she got good news for the throat, she gets good news for this too.

I'm glad to hear that the doctor's don't think it is bladder cancer. Praying that the test come back negative and she will get good results! Please keep us updated!
