Christmas Countdown - 2012

This post and your previous one really had me smiling. That would be something to see in a video!!!

Here he is checking out the rattle bottle.

Here he is using his fort as a perch to look out at the snow. He's made friends with his new snake. It's less than half the size of his carnival snake, but he likes it.

And here he is settling down before we went to bed, after I had covered his fort with his old Teletubbies towel (he used to have that one in his pet carrier, but now he has a Looney Tunes one in there).

We woke up at 4:30 this morning to the sound of O'Malley playing with the bottle rattle and ripping some tape off the box. Some people pay a hundred dollars or more for a kitty fort, O'Malley will have this one for another week or two before we can't handle the mess in the living room anymore and it didn't cost us anything.

As a follow up thank you, I'll print a few photos of him playing with his fort and drop it off to my friend to show her JK group.

hey ya'll!it is soooo cold here. had to run to the pharmacy to pick up a rx & then i went to the cemetary to check on my grandparents flowers. i thought i would freeze.

oh, oh, oh i almost forgot have any of you seen the movie "courageous"? daughter wanted to watch it late this morning & being we have a few free pay per views i got it. from the same peeps that have done other Christian movies. i think "fireproof" & "? the giants" were 2 others. anyhoo that movie was just WOW. i'm never 1 for tearjerkers & 1 part of it just about ripped my heart out. speaks volumes to fathers. i know i'm mama but mmm mmm mmm. the jist of it (w/out giving it away) is 4 men are coworkers & friends, after an horrific tragedy, try to keep their faith in God. IT'S WONDERFULLY PUT TOGETHER & DELIVERS A POWERFUL MESSAGE W/OUT SHOVING IT DOWN YOUR THROAT.

I hope you all are having a great weekend. It's been unseasonably warm here, which is not good for this time of year. We are expecting severe weather later tonight. Just one of the many joys of living in Alabama.

I've got a busy week ahead of me. Don't you just hate it when everything seems to fall on the same week? That seems to happen a lot around here.

Back from London and enjoying a peaceful evening at home with my son. Both of my girls are home at thier places. It is quiet here when everyone goes home.
Back to routine tomorrow with the weekend almost done.

It was nice to read through all the posts and get caught up on the latest.

I guess the radio will be impossible to listen to with the Pats fans thinking the Super Bowl is theirs again. At least the Bruins and the Penguins won VERY exciting games.

If you ever want to try it, Vermont Country Store carries Spatini. It's a powder, so you can also use it to make sour cream dip, toss some into your meatloaf, etc. It may seem expensive, but the pouch that they send you makes about 18 pints of sauce. One batch of sauce only requires about two and a half tablespoons of the stuff. Mr. likes it better than sauce from a jar, so I'm glad there's someplace to buy it again.

Thank you, merrymistletoe - I did find it, right where I first thought it was and overlooked. Isn't that the way, though - lol. No it's not for the snowflake designed one as I haven't started that one yet. When I do it will be blue and white.
