Well I am taking my 2 niece's to Chuck e Cheese tomorrow so I am headed off to bed. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!

I could use a new book suggestion today. I've been off work sick for two days-some sort of bronchitis thing. If I cough much more, I think I will literally 'cough my lungs up'. I hope these meds work soon!

Hope you feel better & your meds have kicked in!

I hope you feel better soon MerryBells xo

GaBulldawg - Good luck to you and Brandi !! Praying for you xo

Good evening, Christmas family

A busy day today. We decided to go to the grocery store today after my doctor appointment and it is a good thing - My company asked me to work days tomorrow and to cover radiology ! I said yes, of course. Since I am working tomorrow I will not have time to go to the store.

My doctor appointment went fine. After examination,my doc said there is nothing to worry about. I always imagine the very WORST scenario so I am glad to hear all is well. xo

As far as I know Music Choice stops playing Christmas music tonightat midnight. I am sitting here listening to the last of the carols. I can't seem to part with my tree this year at least not yet. So I am leaving it up. Maybe I will take it down next weekend and........maybe not !!

Seawaters - Praying for you and sending (((Hugs))) xo

Bradmac - Hope you have a great afternoon cooking for the party tomorrow!! Maybe you could make me just a baked potato ??

Take care Christmas family (((HUGS))) and (((Hugs))) also to all the furkids....Including Harlowe, Ella, Snickers, Snowball, Gomez,Scooby ad Sasha ! xoxo

Glad everything went well, today. I'm listening to Sounds Of The Seasons now, too. Better while we still can! Hugs to you & your little sweeties!

AGH!!! Everything is all mixed up...first, party at my house....then I think we are going to the Pines...then I find out we aren't and I come home....I got pizza and wings for everyone....Ms. Bear says she is bringing drinks and Made said he is bringing whisks...flasks I mean....but they must have gone to the Pines...

so I'm choking down pizza and wings with nothing to drink....

AAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHH...the horror!

We're coming & bringing you some Leinenkugel's from the midwest- best beer ever!!

Your prayers for peace worked today. I did not get good news, but I was not hysterical or anything. There is definitely a lump on the left and some suspicious stuff on the right. So I go back on Wednesday for two biopsies. I was at the doctor's office from 8:30 until noon. TTYL.

Laurie,
I just have to tell you and all my friends here that I really have peace. Your prayers really lifted me up. The hard part for me will be telling my children. I have tried to figure out what to say, but right now, I just can't get there from here!!!

Okay, since I have tears in my eyes, I will tell you why!!! When my mom developed breast cancer and had a mastectomy, she wrote each of us kids (five of us) a letter. In that letter, she told each of us what she loved and admired about us (these were individual letters). Man, oh, man did I cry. She told me that she loved my strength, my wit, my sense of humor, and my love and romanticism. This happened before 1985. I took some sick leave in April 1992 to visit Mother. She gave us girls (my two sisters, my favorite cousin, and I money to go buy her funeral clothes and to have a happy lunch. She was VERY specific that we were to buy her a fushia outfit AND a new pair of shoes (SORRY, but it's the truth--WAY BEFORE the Christmas Shoes song). She said it HAD to be a fushia outfit so it would,"bring out the color of my cheeks." We all laughed and cried at the same time. We did get the fushia outfit, a suit with matching shoes. The day before my mom died in June 1992, Hospice told her that it was probably her last day. She then proceeded to call each of us kids to tell us goodbye. I was in California and Mother was in NC. You cannot believe how hard it was to hang up that phone. Now you know the rest of the story!!!

Sending thoughts, prayers & hugs to you, C. xo
Extra prayers going up in your name by @ 290 Franciscan Sisters Of Perpetual Adoration- our family friend is a nurse at their convent.
Stay strong & positive. Btw, we all love you back!! xo

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been on here in a couple of days. I have had a raging cold. I decided I could take this cold one of two ways. I could whine about it or I could use it as an excuse to spend a couple of days doing absolutely nothing. Guess which one I chose:)? My husband has been enjoying his bonding time with the boys though (aka known as listening to 1,000 reasons why Wii PunchOut is the best game ever) so there is a silver lining after all! Everyone have a blessed evening and fabulous tomorrow!! The pillows and blankets are about to get another visit from me:)

Yeah, I'm about 50 miles west of Savannah. I'm closer to Statesboro, if you're familiar with the area.

I know exactly where that is. It's been a while since I've been there prob 8 years or so.

My sister saw him this past year in concert and loved him! We were trying to save money for the baby, so we decided not to go. DH and I are actually going to see Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw together for our anniversary in June - I am so EXCITED! It will be our third time seeing Tim and second time seeing Kenny. They're both AWESOME! :-D

You will have so much fun. I really want to go to this show I'm just concerned that its in such a large venue(a stadium).

((((Seawaters))))

This got me thinking tonight. At least for me many if not all of you are strangers. I know no one on this forum personally yet I feel a certain connection. Maybe it is that little thing deep within all of us that brought us here in the first place. That little bit of Christmas that is a shimmering light in the sometimes cold and frigid dark. Seawaters tonight and tomorrow, and the day after that and the day after that I'll be sending you that light. That joy, that little bit of Christmas. You can have it as long as you need it. If you always need it that's ok too as I'm sure someone will lend me theirs.

good morning everyone. the stomach flu is almost gone....still feelin a bit funky...but im improving and will be able to get back to work come monday

Good Morning, First Saturday Friends.

Yes, after today we will have completed the first week of 2012.

And what isn't complete, but declining every day?
This:
Days to the Season: 311
Days to Christmas Day: 353
Hey, Hey Hey! Whaddaya say?
The first Milestone of 2012 arrives in 11 days - the 300-day Season Window.
Wow! Single digits the day after tomorrow!

Warmer start yet, albeit still coolish at here in the capital city.
Should get up into the 60's by this afternoon and be nice and dry.
About the best you can expect in these parts in January!

Well, you have a Sensational Saturday and I hope everyone's Weekend is off to a Wonderfully Wacky start!

Keep that Christmas light burning -- and may the spirit of the Season be with you always.

Best of luck to you, Seawaters.
We will be thinking of you and hoping for positive news!

Well, you're the mayor!!! Change it!!! Haha!!!
I'd probably have to move on to the state legislature to do that.

Hmmmmmm.....

I had my eye test today, the first time in 7 years. My eyes actually improved, my new prescription is weaker than my old one.

Wow...that is really impressive. Mine get worse everytime I go!

Wouldn't that have been FUN???

It would have been a blast. I don't forsee any vacations, except maybe little day or two trips here and there with my husband, without our kids. That's okay though! That's what being a parent is all about.

We're taking them to Mytrle Beach, SC this June - EA will love it!

Thank you for updating us. I will continuing to keep praying and very hard. Know we're here for you if you need anything!

Now you have me crying! Such a touching story! I know it is going to be hard to tell your kids, but you're one of the strongest people on here that I know. You will find a way SW - I just know it. God Bless You.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It is going to be cooler here today in Central Indy with a high of 46 predicted. The news just showed the 10 day forecast and it looks like winter is going to finally arrive on Thursday with a significant snowfall next Sunday. I'm going to take my niece's to the new Chuck e Cheese this morning and then it will be time to head home and watch some football. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
