Humid still, but with lower temps.
We only hit 88 degrees here yesterday.
Sounds warm until you consider we recently had 6 consecutive days of 100+ temps.
We show 75 degrees here currently with a reduced chance of precipitation.

You know what I love most about weekday mornings (most of them, at least). When you get to wake up and just sit and be. So nice.....

BINGER...WELCOME HOME! I have a close friend who went there for 11 days and it looks awesome! Hope you enjoyed it. Got Direct TV the other day and the DVR plays in all rooms in our house....so now Darlene will be seen in any room I choose, whenever I choose. The bad news is I lost last year and the year before on my other DVR....oh well, always YouTube.

Today, we are going to hang out and watch some movies on Hallmark. Then we are off to celebrate another year together! I'll be around....see ya in a bit....

One of my sisters just showed up unexpectedly - haven't seen her in a long time. She couldn't stay long as she has to go to work for a few hours. It was good to see her!

Good Evening Everyone!!!!!! I just got back from hallmark. I didn't buy myself anything but I ended up buying my niece's a smurf ornament. I was kind of disappointed. They didn't have any Christmas music playing and they didn't have any decorations up like they normally do. They did have a whole display of Jim Shore Santa's but I exhibited some self control and didn't buy any. Even though I really wanted too. Especially the train one. When I left hallmark I took my niece's home. Then when I left my sister's house they somehow left with me again. So it looks like another long night.

I know..mine didn't play any music either, kinda bummed @ that!! They did have cookies & juice, though, so I took advantage of that part!

I forgot to mention that our Hallmark didn't have any Christmas music playing either, they never do! I went to one several years ago that did play it but they have shut down.

We might head over to another Hallmark today because they have a full Christmas village set up year round. The other one we go to doesn't have that. I will report back if they have music.

That's so cool!! Ours didn't have a village at all. I've never seen one at a Hallmark, and I'd love that. I did see the Jim Shore & Precious Moments Christmas stuff though. I want it all!

Ours has a whole room devoted to Dept.56. The center of the room has a Halloween village and the perimeter of the room has a Christmas village set up. I really loved the general store they had. It had Santa in the upper windows and a BB gun in front of a Santa poster in the lower window.

A Halloween Village, too?! Man, I'm missing out!!! Glad you enjoyed it! :-D

There is nothing more wonderful or comfortable than the hug from a furchild.....They only want to be loved back, no motive other than that xo

Caninemom, Snow-in-Texas pointed out a Christmas ornament at Hallmark that he thinks you might have bought. It, of course, has a polar bear on it! Curious to see what you got to see if he was right!

CM3- I was wondering the same thing!! The one I was thinking of was one of the magic cord ornaments w/ the eskimo girl, polar bear, and penguin called "Trimming The Tree". Did you get that one?

Well, let's just say my wife threw me a curveball yesterday....

I had reservations to a nice place to go eat and everything planned out....and yesterday, right before it was time to go, she looked at me and said....

"I know you really don't want to go and eat at that fancy place. Besdides, that's not us, anyways. Why don't we go eat, go to Hobby Lobby and look at Christmas decorations, and then go to a movie?"

Take away her ravishing good looks, her funny personality, and her genuine heart......and that girl's compassion for others still makes her a great catch.

About the movie...we went to see Ted. If you like raunchy comedy, rent it. If you are easily offended....stay far away. FAR!

CAH and SIT....bikes.....I have one...ride it often....and I LOVE IT!

Good Sunday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

We're at my mom's this afternoon. We had a great lunch, and now she's making coffee and cutting the choclate cake. Boy, my mama spoils me!

Methodist Campmeeting starts again tonight, and Nancy's mom and more of her family stay out there day and night in a small house their family owns there. It's a bit too rustic for my taste, though. I like to hunt and fish, but then I want to come home to a hot shower and cable TV!

Going to the kitchen for a cup of coffee. I hope y'all have a great day!

I feel so left out, I can't get into these Hallmark movies, they are too sugary sweet for my liking, and everyone here, my wife and bro in law, are grinches to them in the offseason. The closest Hallmark store to me is also 18 miles away, so I didn't get to see the great ornaments.

That's too bad, xmas...Too bad there's not a happy medium..
I'm the opposite, I bawl like a baby because I'm such a sap!

Anyone do anything exciting today? We didn't here. I napped, then we had BBQ ribs for dinner, which were delicious! I watched some Hallmark Christmas movies, too. Always a good time.

I am off tomorrow, which I always look foward too. DH works, which the kids automatically go to daycare, since as a lot of you know from my routine, they have to go 2 days a week. I will have the house to myself, so I will do some wash and light cleaning up and I plan on getting caught up on here as well! I am also going to watch some Christmas in July programming!

Well, I am going to go for the evening. I hope all is well with everyone and know that my prayers are with all who need them and I think about all of you often. Have a great day tomorrow, each of you. Hope all of your families are well, including your furbabies. Keep smiling. Until tomorrow!

Good evening, Christmas family

I am watching, or attempting the last Christmas movie on Hallmark for Christmas in July, The Christmas Card. It is not one of my favorites but I still like it. I cant wait until the actual Chrismas season when the movies return !! Hopefully some new ones too !!! I am actually falling asleep as I watch it.. Getting old is HECK !!! It was a fabulous weekend and for some reason I am dreading the start of another week of 12 noon to 9 pm every single day:sad:

The Hallmark ornaments were amazing !!! There were a couple I couldn't get because I just couldn't afford them but I got some pretty cool ones....I will be either posting pics of them or at least the names of the ones I got !!

Everyone I hope you have a wonderful, Christmass evening !!!

I don't know. A lot of their greenery items were getting bad reviews last year. So maybe that has something to do with it.

she got the one with the plugs in the trunk- snaps together and comes right on- its was great.. very easy,,,, friend got some of the greeny stuff and I thought it looked cheap- the tree didnt though...
