Just sitting here watching HSN Christmas in July and I'm excited....not at buying anything, just that it's Christmas in July. I'm more excited about this weekend, but this is a good teaser.

Today was busy....I cleaned school all day long....ALL DAY LONG. I came home, sit in my chair, and was asleep before I could turn on my tv. I was tired. Hang on, my wife needs my computer...be right back...

They actually had a psychologist on the news here tonight talking about how to deal with being stuck inside. He had some good ideas but he forgot to tell them to start planning for Christmas!!!

I got a few to keep cool:

Watch HSN CIJ
Wear a Santa Hat
Decorate a tree just because.
It's already hot enough, so roast a turkey.
Sit around and say lines from Christmas Vacation. RUSS!
Turn on the AC.
Eat ice cream
etc...

I found something way cool about the original Rankin/Bass Santa & Rudolph, it has pictures of where they were in the 80's & 90's, and their restoration. It is fascinating.

I'm feeling so nostalgic tonight ... had to run out to the grocery store, and it's so warm even though it's dark ... it was just like it felt when I was little and was walking home from the carnival, hauling a plush animal or two that I'd won, and half an elephant ear for my mom ... if I'd seen fireflies winking in the distance tonight, a couple of tears would have fallen. Yes, it was hot today, but there's warm memories tonight.

Now that was really pretty neat to see the restoration of the original Santa and Rudolph from the Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! Nice story Xmas....

We went to go pick up the Yankee Candle that Wayne won. It was preselected so he didn't get to choose. It's the Pumpkin Pie one!!! The two pumpkin fragrances they have are my absolute favorites! Wayne prefers the pine scented ones but he likes this one too.

I have it burning right now with HSN on!
