Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

As part of my birthday, Nancy and the kids bought me a copy of the new Three Stooges movie yesterday...it's hilarious! Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck!

I'm still struggling with lack of sleep while campmeeting is going on, but my family loves it so much that I can't complain. Just suck it up and deal with it!! Besides, tomorrow night is Mrs. Hilda's annual Boiled Peanuts and Homemade Ice Cream night at her place at the campground. I NEVER miss that!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Hello all,
Yesterday was my first day back to work, and one day later my desk is a mess all over again, yuck I wish I could still be on vacation still.

Over the weekend on the hallmark channel they had Christmas in July movies, I watched a few, felt the Christmas spirit.

CM3 sorry you had such a bad day.

I hope everyone has a Merry Good Night!
Thank you Yolie !! Your Bear-Bear is so beautiful !! xoxo

So, here we are - Wednesday again. It's raining - what a surprise! It's also 54* and I've just had a fight with my boss and he's not speaking to me. Deep joy - not!!! Something went wrong and I told the truth and, as a result, landed him in it. Seemingly I wasn't supposed to lie; I just had to be economical with the truth. Now he's back tracking with those concerned saying that I didn't have the right facts so what I said wasn't entirely right - but it was. I'm sitting here in trouble but I haven't done anything wrong!!! I hate that feeling!!!!!!!!!!

Still, on the plus side, I've organised all my ecards for the exchange on the 25th!!! Point of note for all you getting one - keep watching it because things pop up at the end!

Hope you all have a good day!!

(((Mo)))) .......I am sorry you are in the "hot seat".... I know how that feels especially when it is not your fault....Been there a lot myself since becoming a transcriptionist and it is NOT pleasant.........I hope things get better for you xo

Got in around 10pm last night and did not have the energy for going through so many posts! I did read them all and thanks for all the messages about my new van. I will post a picture when it is ready to go.

Yesterday was the hottest day in all of Canada in Toronto, where I was. 36.8c or 98f but with the humidex it felt like 45c or 113f! The wind was hot feeling like standing in front of a furnace. I was so glad to be in an air conditioned vehicle. Even that had trouble keeping up with the heat.
Supposed to cool off some the next few days.

I work only 3 hours today, but starting Friday I have already been promoted to full time!!! Oh my poor feet, they will be in total shock.
:???:

Congratulations Star !!! I hope your feet last !!! xoxo

Good evening, Christmas family

Oy-Yah WHAT A DAY !!

First of all, My biggest mistake is I got up today...!!

I went to log on at noon to work and I don't know what happened but all of a sudden, no internet and my computer was flashing a weird message. Of course I started scrambling to try and figure out the problem. It had been fine but not when I got on to work.

The modem went down and that meant I had no phone. I went to get my cell and realized my minutes had expired so no cell phone either. Great. I got on my cell and it let me call my provider and purchase more minutes (how convenient I could still purchase from my cell provider but nothing else). After all that I called work to tell them.

The cable company said they would have to send someone out. Great. That could take all day. By this time I was ready explode. There was nothing I could do but wait. The cable guy came at around 2:30 - 3 and had to replace all the wires on the outside of the house - seems they had WATER in them !!! he said a squirrel probably chewed it and that is how the water got in.

After he fixed everything I tried my computer again - No go. Still the same message. Something about the system configuration being corrupt and inserting a startup CD to repair the problem. I never HAD a startup CD with Windows XP. I called a couple of computer guys and they both said it sounded like the hard drive bought it.

My only choice was to use my new laptop. I typed a couple reports and realized the F keys or function keys had different assignments than "normal" so I had to call HP direct. I got someone who was definitely not adept at English and explained the problem as best as I could and they explained to me as best as they could what to do. Amazingly, it worked. The function keys were then behaving as normal function keys should so I began to type. It was already 4:30 by then and I had missed four hours of work. I worked until 9:30 so I just have 3 hours to make up from today but Yee Gads am I tired from all the stress..........Don't know why my PC just HAD to die in the midst of all this...........And that was my day !!!

:-o:-o

I hope all are well and staying cool !! I did not watch any of HSN's Christmas in July but I am eagerly waiting for QVC's !!!

Big ((((HUGS)))) to everyone especially:

Ella, Harlowe, Snowball, Gomez, Ophelia, Sidney, Alex, Merlin, Snickers, Victor, Daisy, Diva, Palmer, Mouse, Bo, Chico, Meca, Alvin, Missy, Scooby, Sasha, Jacob, Cracker, Bunny B, Penny, Pocket, LuLu and all furkids everywhere xoxoo

Sounds like a rough day, I hope today goes better.

Want to beat the heat (at least in your head)? Think about this. Today we are only 15 weeks away from Halloween. In my house that means less than 11 weeks away from decorating for Halloween. And, most importantly, less than 7 weeks away from the start of football season!

Hooray !!! I didnt think about it like this !! Heavens !! I have to get my Halloween stuff ready !!!!!!! :witch:

Wednesday hello! I hope today is less nuts at the office. I was told that late in the afternoon our "we need a new ad today" client called to make more changes to their most recent ad. (It had already crossed my desk eight times with various changes.) The account manager told him it was impossible because the newspaper had already gone to press. He wanted her to call the newspaper and tell them to stop printing! Yes, I'm ready to take a few days off!

See, caninemom3? Give it another try!

You're welcome!

Maybe Carl has popped the question to his girlfriend! Let me know!

I'll miss the Pines tonight---we'll be driving up to New Hampshire for a convention of a couple hundred Laurel & Hardy enthusiasts ... it should be a good time. Lots of movies, of course, plus a dinner cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, and Mr. is co-hosting the trivia quiz (he wrote all the questions) and appearing on an authors' panel. The organization is called Sons of the Desert, after the lodge L&H belong to in the movie of the same name. (An unfortunate name in recent years---once the USPS looked at the return address on a package of newsletters and tore it open to find out if it was a terrorist group!) The organization was formed in 1965, and has met every two years for a convention since 1980. I met Mr. at the 1990 convention, and we announced our engagement at the 1994 convention. We've been too busy to attend since 1994, so there'll be a lot of catching up with old friends (and, sadly, missing some departed friends).

But the hotel has Wi-Fi, and I'm taking my Kindle Fire, so I can check in. Otherwise I'd have severe withdrawal ... I think I'm addicted to MMC.

Thanks Merry !!!!! That is SO romantic about your and Mr. !! xo Have a wonderful time ! xo

I was in Costco yesterday and they have halloween costumes out and a big supply of winter coats.
And people complain Christmas stuff is out to soon!

hmmm, that would be cool if Carl did propose!

Have a great time at the convention!!!

Love the Three Stooges!!

I have not been to a camp meeting since my kids were small, would love to go to one again. Do not seem so popular around here anymore.

Good evening from Stockholm, Sweden.
Im exhausted! ....

But still I have some shopping to do..
The shopping centers here are closing in 1.5 hour (At seven! That's early!)
But first I HAVE to have some MMC time - just for me! =]

What a beautiful hotel, Solice! Your plans for tomorrow look like so much fun!! Will you go on the rides?
Enjoy, my friend!!!
Thank you! =] I did not go on any rides. I was taking pictures.
Rides make me sick. But before I became a Mom I was much tougher
and crazy for these rides.. Could ride all day!
The little one took many today! He loves amusementsparks =]

Solice, I will be keeping your FIL and MIL in my prayers, as well as your husband, you, and the rest of your family. Any updates?
Thank you so much!
He will be starting with chemo and radiation in about five weeks.

It rained, It rained!!!!!!! Again!!!!! That's 2 night in a row and now my neighbors think I'm crazy because I took my chair out to the middle of the yard and sat in it. It felt great though!!!
Oh, I wish I could see that! cheesy Haha.. I bet it was GREAT yes!!!

Solice, hope you enjoy your trip!
Thank you! =]

I'm feeling so nostalgic tonight ... had to run out to the grocery store, and it's so warm even though it's dark ... it was just like it felt when I was little and was walking home from the carnival, hauling a plush animal or two that I'd won, and half an elephant ear for my mom ... if I'd seen fireflies winking in the distance tonight, a couple of tears would have fallen. Yes, it was hot today, but there's warm memories tonight.
:-D Beautiful MerryCarey

CM3: Hope this day will be much better for you!!!

And then Im off - shopping! cheesy
