Sitting here watching the snow fall has me in the mood to put up my Christmas tree!!!! To bad it's still January.

I won't tell anyone.

My mom got great news!!! The lump is either a benign cyst (which he said 90% are) or thyroid cancer. If it is simply the cyst, it can be drained. If it is thyroid cancer, it is 100% curable.

One appointment down, one to go....
So glad to hear!
I am once again starting to have a small issue with asthma and more frequent migraines. I can take the migraines, but breathing problems are the worst for me. It will get better though.
I hope you feel well soon! Hug the furchildren and they will make you feel better!
Nothing new. DH and I have some around to go do. Today
is my day off and I really needed It! It was so busy at work last night.
Enjoy your day off!

I am back from my running around, the x-ray showed I have bone spurs in my heel, but now I have an appointment with a podiatrist tomorrow to make sure there isn't a tendon issue and see what else is wrong. I picked up my crutches also, wow it is a lot of work to move with them, my arms are exhausted.
I hope you heal quickly! Get some rest!

Should have made his fingers separate to for the hand sign from Star Trek
Exactly what my son was going to do but he had some homework to catch up on so we just stuck with the ears only. =)

Did I mention I'm jealous???????
Hey, I will even come wash dishes for you just to see the snow! =)

I won't either!

I have my 2 year old granddaughter here and I have been building her a playhouse out of a bunch of old cardboard boxes. She just think that's the coolest thing and it didn't cost a dime to make!

jennifer91: I will keep praying for your mom!

caninemom3: thank you for always thinking of Mouse, Palmer and the rest of my fur kids - big, big hugs back to you, Wish, Clancy, Ivy, Smokey and Lily! ((((hugs))))

Good afternoon, MMC!

Lots of rain has been coming down - still no snow, but they have upped the amount we are expected to get. There might be some freezing rain, too. Ugh! Glad I work from home the rest of the week! My organizing is going well - still a lot to do, but I was able to get rid of 4 brown grocery bags full of stuff and two small wooden cabinets the other day. I am exhausted today - haven't slept well the past few days and I took allergy meds on top - I could really go for a big nap right now, but I know if I do, I will not sleep tonight at all. The latest recipe I am trying out for future inclusion in my holidays foods is luscious lemon bars. They look yummy!

Have a MERRY afternoon and stay safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been doing a lot of organizing too. It's great when you can clear the clutter out!

Lemon bars sound yummy!!!

I hate when I come down with allergies. I sure hope you get to feeling better.

I love hearing about everyone's pet. I may not talk about mine a lot but I have a houseful and they are the delight of my day. You should hear all the mushy baby talk that goes on ALL DAY long with them. They are all totally ROTTEN!

Here they are:

2 chihuahuas - Chico and Meca
2 cats - Charlie and Gary
1 Quaker Parrot - Bailey (after George Bailey from It's a Wonderful Life)
1 Russian Tortoise - Alvin, This tortoise has so much personality and will come running to me when he sees me. He is sooooooo cute!
1 Red Eared Slider Turtle - Timmy (he only likes my son and comes to him but runs from me. Ha ha!)

7 stray cats that have all been fixed and shots given. My neighbor and I take care of all of them.

CM3, I don't expect you to have to add all these names to your "shout out". I just wanted you all to know about my critters.

CM3, here is the picture of Bradmac being sworn in wearing his Spock ears. See? He wasn't going to let you down! (my son photoshopped this for me). cheesy

Thanks for the good news! I hope the next appointment is good news too.

Good afternoon, Christmas family

It seems like I have been remiss in my devotion to you all and our Christmas home lately. I am sorry. It seems all I do anymore is play with my Ipod. I have been playing a couple of games. One is Plants versus Zombies and the other is Animals versus Zombies. Neither is violent or graphic - The zombies in both are comical and actually kind of silly looking but I am hooked on playing them !

I don't think you've been neglecting us. With all you have to do? Please ... relax with a game. We know we're in your thoughts even when you aren't on line, and that goes BOTH ways.

Good afternoon,

I am back from my running around, the x-ray showed I have bone spurs in my heel, but now I have an appointment with a podiatrist tomorrow to make sure there isn't a tendon issue and see what else is wrong. I picked up my crutches also, wow it is a lot of work to move with them, my arms are exhausted. I ran to work to drop off my dr note, you walk in with crutches, you are the most popular person there, everyone around was asking me what was wrong. Of course my best friends there I couldn't talk to because they were too busy, oh well. I will see them soon enough. So off from work again tomorrow, and back down to downtown Springfield again. I did get some Sweetarts on the ride home, they are scrumptious.

Enjoy the day!

Good luck with the podiatrist---hope things get straightened out soon so you can lose the pain AND the crutches.
